This pension has a great location for a lowkey tropical getaway. The beach across the road has good snorkeling and there's lots of shops about 5 minute walk away. The Mobil next door has a great selection of snacks and meals and is open 24/7.|The pension is small with lush vegetation and a small pool. Rooms are basic but tidy and have everything you need. Staff are nice and friendly.|The resident rooster crows at all hours but other than that, it was very quiet and relaxing.

The grounds all need some cleaning up…very messy area….the room is OK…bathroom is not…shower is very moldy and needs to be redone….2 bath towels provided…..bath mat awful…. no hand or face cloths…..the beach across the street is awful…..you need to climb over volcanic rocks to get into water…the beach is extremely narrow…..one small restaurant nearby…..not open all day….on corner of a busy street….certainly not what was expected….old dirty kettle….no cups or supplies….nice porch….roosters all day and night….we had pounding on our roof at 1:00 AM???? Location isn’t conducive for relaxing vacation…pool needs a railing to enter and tile work fixed…..we left too early for breakfast…..would not stay there again….

We stayed her for two nights at the end of a long French Polynesia holiday since we wanted to be closer to the airport. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the rooms. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The swimming pool was very clean and nicely warm. Previous reviewers mentioned noise from the garage next door but we did not experience this. The gardens are very well kept and there is a large variety of local plants. The nearby beach looked very nice and pension is within walking distance of the outstanding Museum of Tahiti and the islands.

Nice place to come for a night or two. Friendly staff. Explained everything. Was ready for my late arrival without issue. Very close to a lovely beach, and you can borrow snorkel and fins from the front desk. Nice 24hr shop at the gas station next door had plenty of food options if you don't want their breakfast. I wouldn't base a whole vacation there, but for us arriving on a flight after the ferries to moorea stopped, it was a nice night before heading on.

Great place to stop over before going home. Very good introduction to the hotel and the area. Good breakfast and great pool. Nice garden with flowers, chicken and cute dogs. ||We got help getting a taxi and it was always easy to get in contact with the owners. ||Possible to borrow snorkelling gear.

I enjoyed my short stay.
Owners were helpful .
Place was clean.
Price was good .
Very quiet although a few roosters and close to the road .
Pool 24 hours.
A small point but I felt like an outsider at the communal breakfast, of course my fault for not speaking French .
After being on the beautiful beach I remembered the owner did suggest a snorkling guided tour , and do regret not having enough time to take him up on that.
You will have a pleasant time there and I would recommend a car too.
Happy travels !

Clean, humble and reasonably priced with lovely personable hosts, this was a great place to stay and unwind. We had a beautiful pool surrounded by tropical fruit trees. Across the street was a lovely park snd beach in easy walking distance and next door, a little supermarket attached to the grocery store supplied wonderful French baked goods. Within a kilometre we’re more stores and little restaurants and everything one would ever need. No need for a car here and it’s a quick taxi ride to the airport.

Vincent and the ret of the staff were very accommodating, friendly, and made themselves available even on Sunday afternoons. The snorkeling right across the street at the beach is also beautiful, and the pool was refreshing after a long day. Very close to a 24 hour gas station so it was convenient even though it wasn't in papeete. Only note is that the wifi is weak in the bedrooms. Great value.
