Pensión El Marinero De Isla

We arrived at this hotel past the 10pm scheduled reception close time, and called to hope they could help out, and sure enough they were happy to stay open until we arrived. We were given a large, beautifully clean room, and given a quick and easy check in experience. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly throughout. Our sleep was great, with no noise disturbance or similar, and our beds were comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was simple but brilliantly executed - lovely fresh croissants with butter and jam, and excellent quality coffee - again with very good standards of service from the owner. Check out was quick and easy, and friendly. |Overall, a very lovely experience, particularly for the bargain price. Isla is lovely to wander around, and the neighbourhood feels calm and secure. We had an excellent stay.|

The owners were extremely friendly to us, very welcoming, which created really good impression after a long journey. The room itself was in a building next to the actual hospedaje, it was like an apartment - the room was nice, the only problem - it didn't have Air Conditioning. It wasn't a problem for us, as we've only stayed for 1 night, but can be an issue for a longer stay.||||Also note - the location itself is nice, away from main road and close to all amenities. But it can be extremely difficult to find, we've maybe spent 15 mins going forth and back on the main road of Isla until found the correct turn. Would be nice to have the hostal signposted from the street.||||Breakfast was very nice as well!

Gotta love this place. A few steps from the waterfront, clean rooms, comfortable beds. My only complaint would be that breakfast is all carbs (toast and croissant) and bottled juice. I'd say either charge a bit more for a proper breakfast, with fresh juice, or don't bother. But that's just me. Others may disagree.

Lovely place, perfectly located. Very friendly owners always willing to assist. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is good to kick off a busy day. Rooms are set with TV and AC. Definitely we will be back.

This was such a lovely and homely place to stay. The owners were very welcoming. The breakfast that is included is great value. We would recommend this place to anyone. We would love to come back again soon.

Rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast was nice and the guy real friendly :)

Habitaciones sencillas pero completamente funcionales, tienen neverita y ventilador de techo, en nuestro caso también tenía terraza con mesa y 2 sillas, plato de ducha en baño y televisor grande. Dispone de aparcamiento. Tenía incluido el desayuno, muy rico y con variedad más que suficiente. El personal muy amable y atento. Sin duda volveremos a Isla y al Marinero. Muy recomendable
