Pension Hibiscus Guesthouse

😊: Such lovely people run this place, so kind and helpful. They helped to sort out our bike rental, they helped with our ferry tickets, offered us a complimentary juice on arrival and were all round nice people. The apartment is so welll decorated and clean, they obviously take care and pride in this place. Location is fantastic, so close to source d'argent and nearby shops, the ferry is only a 15 min walk. Absolutely recommend staying here, we were sad to leave!. 😢: Nothing, everything was exceptional!.

I throughly enjoyed my stay at Pension Hibiscus. 🌺 Jannita ensured I was taken care of every day. The rooms were so well kept. I thought the location was perfect as well. Close enough for a short bike ride to town, but also accessible to the north and south of the island. You will enjoy your stay if you stay at Pension Hibiscus!

😊: We had a nice stay, everyone was friendly and helpful. The Pension is a bit outside the city, but it's just a 10 minute walk, 15 minutes to the ferry port. Also you have a big supermarket just around the corner. The apartment was big enough for two and the kitchen had everything you need to cook a meal..

😊: Great stay, exceeded our expectations with all of the amenities, we are sorry that we could stay only for one night. We would definitely recommend more days on La Digue (and one day trip to Praslin)..

Things you need to know about this pension. 1. No trash can in the room (only small trash can in the bathroom) 2. No hair dryer 3. No TV 4. No internet when it’s rainy or when people use together( busy traffic time ) so you need to be prepared your things to play with. Otherwise, you have nothing with you when it’s rainy 5. No cleaning service everyday ( or you need to pay for cleaning service additionally ). No towel change everyday. 6. No mosquito coils or sprays ( this place has lots of ants, bugs, mosquitoes. You better prepare ) 7. Old bungalow style room ( they said they renovated but you will know what I am talking about when u enter ) the roof was not totally covered. We can see the sky cause of wood roof pieces were broken apart. 8. I got bitten a lot from some weird insects. I don’t think it was bed bugs. But it left brown or black dots. Also have at least 3 bites at a time. Super itching all over my body. Especially back, arms and legs. 9. Pillow sheets and blankets were seriously stinky. So we had to request to change again but it still smells bad. But we realized it smells again next day. 10. No ventilation system in the bathroom. So it’s super humid and hot. Also so many insects everywhere you can see. 11. Isolated ( it’s east side. And most of the scenic area is at west side. Also activity shops located other side. You have to pay for pick up service everytime ) 12. Free Old fashion bike. No handle break. Pedal break only 13. Kayak rental is free. One pedal was broken btw 14. On site rental car or motorcycle service. If you don’t rent, you can’t go anywhere. 15. On site restaurant. There is basically nothing near the guest house. This is only restaurant near by. So you have no choice. And I think you shouldn’t expect anything. That way you won’t disappoint. 16. Very helpful pick-up service when you check out. They make a reservation for you if you request for the help. 17. They have air-conditioner and fans, hot water, small old rusted refrigerator, small table and porch area with chairs. 18. Super thin wall. You can hear what your next room people say

Wonderful stay! Nice room, good aircon, kitchen and veranda. Bathroom with hot water ( although the red marking is cold and blue is hot:)|The owner and her grown up daughter lives on premesis and is always able to help with anything you need!|The superefficient and nice girls that kept everything clean and in order was very nice to||Also good was owners driver in Victoria to take you from town to airport for good price. Dont hesitate its a very nice gentleman|I rented a bike at Hibiscus and even when I had a flat on newyears very red day the owner had it fixed!||Hibiscus is in a good location close to everything, on the other hand everything is in a good location on this small island ||If I go back I would defenitly go back

We had the pleasure of staying at Pension Hibiscus for our honeymoon (and my partner's birthday) and the owners made it a very special experience. Everyone was so friendly, and the owner was very helpful with ordering taxis and bikes from local businesses. The room was excellent as well - a full kitchen and terrace, where local birds would stop by frequently. I highly recommend this guesthouse if you're coming to La Digue.

Everything about the stay was wonderful. I booked this stay last minute just before I went to Seychelles, I didn't want to spend a lot on my stay at the same time I wanted to stay at a clean comfortable place in a good location The lady who owns the facility and her family were extremely welcoming and super nice. They helped me book a bicycle. They gave me information about the Island they literally made me feel like I was at home. I went there for my birthday celebration. I wanted to be in a quiet place and I sure enjoyed every moment of it. The room was clean and spacious enough the AC was working perfectly. Their internet was good, the water was running really well and everything was just great.
