Warm and welcoming, this family-owned B&B was exactly what we'd hoped for. Gracious and very helpful host, satisfying breakfast buffet (try the Plum and Peach Cake, if you can), and comfortable room. It's a 4-minute walk to the #5 bus which takes you to the Old City as well as the train station. (At the train station, go downstairs to buy a 24-hour transit ticket for each day you're in Salzburg -- they were a good deal and very useful for our trips back and forth.)||||The room was a little tight, but the beds were comfortable, there was a small desk and chair, a convenient refrigerator, and a standing fan (although we didn't use it, the cross-ventilation was fine).||||Nonntaler Hauptstrasse can get noisy, so next time we will ask for a room facing the back. And there will be a next time!
