Pension Katrin is everything one could wish for when traveling abroad. It is close to the airport, it is within walking distance to the old town, the bus stop is only a 5 minute walk and so is the nearest SPAR. The breakfast is something not be missed and Sandra is the best host ever!

This was such a cute place to stay! Sandra was so so kind and helpful. She made our time in Salzburg better! The breakfast was also really good.

Amazing location with a very friendly hostess! Had a nice, comfortable and very clean room with a decent bathroom on the second floor. We were informed in advance there was no elevator, but this was not an issue. The breakfast was amazing with more than enough food and a very friendly and beautiful location! We will come back again!

From the moment my family and I arrived at Pension Katrin we were put at ease by the warm friendly welcome of our host, Sandra. The hotel is spotless due to the keen eye of Sandra and her dedicated team of cleaners. The rooms are large and spacious with a mini bar and safe. The breakfasts were a delight, so fresh and with a multitude of choices. The hotel is only a short walk to the old city, or there is a bus stop very close; bus 5. Sandra has lots of of information displayed in the reception. We delighted in her enthusiasm and knowledge for the city. Highly recommend.

Danke, Frau Sandra Terler, for your singular hospitality! Easy, quick bus access to/from airport, train station, & city center. Safe and quiet neighborhood retreat, with nearby conveniences. Spotless accommodations, as well as BEST breakfast out of all our Austrian pension stays. Affordable & personable, it doesn't get better than Pension Katrin!

Had an excellent time staying at Pension Katrin. Location is only a 20 minute walk downtown and situated in a neighborhood with many food and drink options. Property was extremely clean. Sandra is a great and pleasant host! The breakfast spread was the best we had of the places we stayed on our trip.

Like many European hotels/hostels/pensions, the rooms can be quite dated but the difference at Pension Katrina was that it was spotless. Absolutely immaculate. The rooms were thoroughly cleaned each day. Linen was crisp, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The host is who was from Salzburg herself, was very helpful, friendly and gave great recommendations on what to and see in Salzburg. She was always there to greet you everyday at breakfast, and just a genuinely nice person. Since we had a car the location was not a problem although you could easily catch a bus into town which was reliable and took 10 minutes. Otherwise a leisurely 25 stroll takes you into town with amazing scenery. There is only 3 car park spots at the pension but plenty of street parking. I would stay here again and also recommend to others.

Warm and welcoming, this family-owned B&B was exactly what we'd hoped for. Gracious and very helpful host, satisfying breakfast buffet (try the Plum and Peach Cake, if you can), and comfortable room. It's a 4-minute walk to the #5 bus which takes you to the Old City as well as the train station. (At the train station, go downstairs to buy a 24-hour transit ticket for each day you're in Salzburg -- they were a good deal and very useful for our trips back and forth.)||||The room was a little tight, but the beds were comfortable, there was a small desk and chair, a convenient refrigerator, and a standing fan (although we didn't use it, the cross-ventilation was fine).||||Nonntaler Hauptstrasse can get noisy, so next time we will ask for a room facing the back. And there will be a next time!
