Highly recommend. The staff were very nice and helpful, the location is ideal by being both central to sights and restaurants, and also because it was very quiet at night. We loved the big windows in our room out to the patio full of plants. The best part was the terrace at the top with comfy chairs and a view of the Alhambra. Also, the cafe next door has an excellent breakfast.

Response edit: What I saw was a husband and wife running the restaurant and giving us the stink-eye when we did not spend our money on their mediocre fare Unfortunately you made us very uncomfortable Your mother, on the other hand, was very kind and welcoming. We had nice conversations with her Original post: I stayed here some years ago on a Rick Steves' travel guide recommendation. In the morning the front door was locked so you were forced to go through the restaurant. We ate a less than satisfying breakfast the first day and just walked through the next two mornings (no choice!) only to get the stink-eye from the couple running it. Wow! Talk about the nerve of people! This has nothing to do with Spanish culture. I am fluent in Spanish and have been all over Spain and nowhere have I experienced this weird behavior. But the old lady who owned the place (still?) was really nice. Her son and his wife ran the food joint. They were all smiles until we decided to eat breakfast elsewhere The room was...well...just awful. Cramped, dingy and dark. The shower was so poorly maintained the water went all over the tiny bathroom and flooded the floor The price was about what it is as of this writing, but I would not stay here for free again

This was a highlight of our trip! The hotel is bursting with charm! The owners were so kind and welcoming! The rooms were clean and comfortable. And the restaurant one the ground floor was a perfect spot for breakfast! I would recommend this place over a larger more modern hotel!

Amazing experience at an authentic and unique hotel! The family is lovely and very helpful! Nice restaurant for breakfast next door. You have access to multiple terraces and a view of Alhambra. Clean, spacious and comfortable.

Just arrived at the most authentic hotel, I'm sat on the roof terrace at present writing this and the smell from the plants is beautiful. Such helpful owners as we needed to phone for directions, thru stated on the phone until we were outside the hotel, then helped us park the car. The rooms are clean, spacious and had a brand new shower. So pleased we've booked here and can't wait for breakfast in the cafe next door. Feel like I'm in Granada not a premier Inn. Plus the hop on bus drivers right by our hotel.

The staff at Pension Landazuri were so helpful. The hotel is just below the Alhambra and on a street w very limited traffic. There is a cute cafe next door that opens at 7 am, so you can get breakfast and make a early start in the cool of the morning. The show is good and the beds are comfortable. The rooms are big enough and ours faces the street. The windows shut out the street noise. The is no AC, but an over head fan works well. The hotel is not fancy, but the prices are low. ||The best aspect is the family that runs the hotel. They are cheerful and helpful in all aspects. They live on the first floor. Staying here is not a corporate experience of client, rather you are a friend stopping by to stay a while||If you arrive by car be sure to call ahead and they will contact the city so you can drive past the pylons that limit access to the area.

Great breakfast next door! Nice rooms, great extra info on all Art related questions. Your almost at the Alhambra, you can do this, just a small walk up ;) If you like running or cycling, just take a left at parking 4 ( after Alhambra) Silla del Moro- Stunning. So close by, just a top location

We went to Spain for 23 days to celebrate our 50th. (I was in Grenada in 1969. I recall the hills being less steep then.) May 20-25 were spent at this centrally-located pension. It was a highlight of our trip. It is a family-owned establishment and the owners are made up of a terrific family. Matilde is the matriarch. Two daughters, Margarita and Eliza, help her administer the pension. Matilde's son, Manolo, and his wife, Eileen, have Cafe Landazuri next door where food is really good and very reasonably priced. We even got to meet some delightful grandchildren. We suddenly found ourselves feeling like part of the family all of whose members are so welcoming and warm. We had a large room, 303, which is right off the large terrace. To the left of the terrace is a view of the cathedral. To the right is one of the Alhambra. Both are well within walking distance.||Our hosts were very helpful with recommendations for sites, providing directions, etc. ||It is a pension, not a hotel. It has no lift, no air-conditioning (not needed during our stay), no bar fridge, no room safe, etc. (But if you want those amenities, pay more at a hotel and good luck finding hosts as wonderful as this family.) Pension Landazuri was our least expensive accommodation during our trip. It was also our most enjoyable.
