Loved staying here. The owners are so wonderful - family owned. We had the 1 bedroom suite with private bathroom for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids. Parking is also very convenient. If you are staying here and driving, it is okay to drive on the "authorized vehicles" only lanes. The place had beautiful terraces and it is close to everything. Highly recommend!

The lovely lady and her mom who own this pension made our stay so enjoyable! Personable and so helpful with suggestions on restaurants and things to do. Location is a short, although steep walk to the Alhambra and the historic areas of the city. Very quiet room at night.

A beautiful old hotel in a perfect location to visit the Alhambra and other sites in the city, on a quiet street below the fortifications. There is a lovely rooftop terrace with sunset views, and a convenient cafe adjacent, and while the hotel is of a traditional design (no elevator, modest rooms, etc.) the water is always hot, the hosts are welcoming, and the price is very reasonable. Parking is available at comparable prices to other city lots, in a private underground. The hosts are available 24hrs a day if you have any issues, though we had none.

Charming, central, comfortable and clean. The cafe right next door also serves delicious food and is just so pretty. Thank you so much for accommodating my partner and I last week!

Highly recommend. The staff were very nice and helpful, the location is ideal by being both central to sights and restaurants, and also because it was very quiet at night. We loved the big windows in our room out to the patio full of plants. The best part was the terrace at the top with comfy chairs and a view of the Alhambra. Also, the cafe next door has an excellent breakfast.

Nice spacious rooms, beautiful terrace available to guests with views of Alhambra and the city, and the family that owns it was so kind and so helpful, going above and beyond. Would love to hopefully come back some day

The staff at Pension Landazuri were so helpful. The hotel is just below the Alhambra and on a street w very limited traffic. There is a cute cafe next door that opens at 7 am, so you can get breakfast and make a early start in the cool of the morning. The show is good and the beds are comfortable. The rooms are big enough and ours faces the street. The windows shut out the street noise. The is no AC, but an over head fan works well. The hotel is not fancy, but the prices are low. ||The best aspect is the family that runs the hotel. They are cheerful and helpful in all aspects. They live on the first floor. Staying here is not a corporate experience of client, rather you are a friend stopping by to stay a while||If you arrive by car be sure to call ahead and they will contact the city so you can drive past the pylons that limit access to the area.

Response edit: What I saw was a husband and wife running the restaurant and giving us the stink-eye when we did not spend our money on their mediocre fare Unfortunately you made us very uncomfortable Your mother, on the other hand, was very kind and welcoming. We had nice conversations with her Original post: I stayed here some years ago on a Rick Steves' travel guide recommendation. In the morning the front door was locked so you were forced to go through the restaurant. We ate a less than satisfying breakfast the first day and just walked through the next two mornings (no choice!) only to get the stink-eye from the couple running it. Wow! Talk about the nerve of people! This has nothing to do with Spanish culture. I am fluent in Spanish and have been all over Spain and nowhere have I experienced this weird behavior. But the old lady who owned the place (still?) was really nice. Her son and his wife ran the food joint. They were all smiles until we decided to eat breakfast elsewhere The room was...well...just awful. Cramped, dingy and dark. The shower was so poorly maintained the water went all over the tiny bathroom and flooded the floor The price was about what it is as of this writing, but I would not stay here for free again
