Very nice small hotel in La Digue. Staff were very nice - arranged bicycles for us, a buggy to the ferry and even packed us a breakfast without us asking for when we left for the ferry early. Very nice breakfast as well fruit, eggs, juice, coffee. Good AC nice hotel.

We stayed close to 3 weeks in Pension Michel on La Dique. It's a small, relaxed hotel I can only recommend - we will definitely be back. Lush garden, great location within walking distance to most sights on La Dique. Bike rental is available directly onsite and always ran very smooth for us. Rooms have a nice size, are perfectly clean and come with shampoo etc. The breakfast is exceptional, fresh fruits & eggs prepared to your order. We didn't eat dinner there often to explore various takeaways and restaurant, but the times we ate there it was delicious - served in menue style. Transfer to and from ferry jetty went smooth. Really want to highlight the friendliness of the staff - everyone was very helpful and always in a good mood, they really made the difference and made us feel like home. Exceptional for both short term and longer term stays.

We checked in to stay at Pension Michel for 2 nights. We decided we were going to walk from the ferry to the hotel but as it had been raining the roads were flooded on the way to Pension Michel along with the reception area so make sure you do take the shuttle service otherwise you have to go through rivers to get here. I think as the hotel is a 4 minute drive this service should be included with the price anyway especially after torrential rain - maybe something the hotel can add into their pricing and offer the free shuttle to the ferry. The rooms are nice but I think there are a few minor finishing touches needed. There is a mini fridge but this is the first hotel we stayed in where they do not provide bottles of water for the room. The shower worked well but the attachment shower head can only go in one location on the wall so could do with an adjustment so it's easier to shower? The breakfast is nice but they provide each table with the same stuff (toast with butter and jams, banana breads, fruits and then eggs. I don't like eggs so this is a bit wasted on me. But my partner who does eat everything said the eggs were really nice. But I found a lot of other tables were wasting stuff as they were not asked what they would like? So I can imagine a lot of food goes to waste. The gardens were really pretty inside of the hotel grounds and I'd say the location is pretty perfect as you are kind of in the middle of everything. Just a shame the roads and reception area gets flooded after the rainfall.

a well-run, spotlessly clean and perfectly-located little hotel. AC worked well. Room 1 has a pleasant veranda sitting area. Hotel has a small garden sitting area with fans which was great to relax. breakfast was generous (fruit, eggs, toast, juice), and coffee not half bad! room wifi worked well. a great value place that I easily recommend.

We have recently stayed at Pension Michele for our La Digue stop. All the personnel was friendly and welcoming. The rooms were cleaned daily and had AC. There is a breadfruit tree right inside the property where many fruit bats stay all day long. At night you can hear the bats fighting for the best spot in the tree - we really enjoyed it. The breakfast, although looked not very consistent - with fruits, eggs and jam&butter - was very tasty and kept us full daily until 2-3PM. We haven’t tried the dinner here. The hotel is close to 2 supermarkets (2 minutes walk) where you can buy your groceries. We rented 2 bikes for our 5 days stay for 100 rupees/day/bike and it was the best decision. All the beaches are very accessible with the bike (especially Anse Soruce D’Argent). Best value/price balance.

We stayed here just one night, but it was great! The place is very tidy and clean, same for the rooms. The Half-Board food is definitely a highlight! Very tasty. They had offered us a complementary early check in without us asking, which was very nice and we really appreciated that. They also arranged bikes for us and allowed us to store our luggage for a late departure.

Very nice hotel. Very clean and comfi rooms. Beautiful garden and very good breakfast. The staff was not as attentive as expected but it’s still a very good place to stay

Nice cosy rooms, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, and nice dinner when pre-booked. Bicycle rent was organised for us on site, so we could easily discover the island.
