Pension Segura

Location is great short walk across bridge to old town sites and restaurants. Has cafe attatched to it. Outside area for breakfadt €3.50 if boiked thru hotel. Tostado, coffee, orange juice. Sit and watch world go by. Another cafe next door and a patisserie.|Room very basic, dated. Tiny shower and loo combined. But clean. Comes with aur con. Wooden Shutters on window keeps noise out. 24 hour reception. So leave your keys and use the buzxer in the evening.|If you want clean and basic, central location this is it.

when i lived in Gebas, Murcia was one place one location that i visited often, and when i did this was the Hotel i stayed in. It is affortable an nice, basic hotel, cheap price. What not to be liked? staff was friendly, i would recommend this. near to many different sights to see, and allaround nice place. Staff here speaks good english so all you new to murcia will be able to ask everything you want and they'll give u an answer

This hotel is in an excellent location. It is central and close to all the sights. It is very clean and good shower. Cafe downstairs. Staff are pleasant 😊

Very good for a 2 star hotel. Excellent staff, air conditioning and free WiFi. You can buy breakfast at the Cafe downstairs through reception at a discount. Breakfast was delicious. Bit noisy in the corridor and also from adjoining room (but you can get that anywhere). Room was small, but adequate for a 2 night stay.

Very friendly service, very central, so easy walking to see the town. The rooms are very small, but that isn't a great concern for us. The shower is very narrow, I kept turning off the water with my elbow as I turned around. All in all for the price, great place to stay. We had a problem finding the place even though the signage is quite visible, Google seemed to be telling us it was the other side of the square.

Excellent location with helpful staff, though we did have a bit of trouble finding it, so make sure you get good, complete directions. Room was pleasant and we appreciated the air conditioning. Nice bathroom with a good shower (handheld with stand above for free standing use). Wifi worked well. There is a restaurant downstairs plus lots of places to eat and see within easy and pleasant walking distance. ||The staff speaks minimal English, and our Spanish leaves a lot to be desired, but we were able to communicate adequately since they clearly really wanted to be helpful.||Downside: no nearby parking; we paid for parking many blocks away. Also, the stairs are somewhat intimidating.||Do make arrangements with the staff if you plan to be out late. We did have a problem when we returned late (midnight or so) getting back into the pension. We knocked and rang the bell for 20 minutes or so. We were about to give up and walk to a relative's hotel 10 minutes or so away but decided to try one last time. Fortunately, someone came to let us in. If you don't know how late you will be out, it might help if you have a phone that works there (we didn't) and bring the phone number with you in case you have trouble rousing someone.

Clean and warm room, towels spotless clean, soft and fluffy. Staff kind and helpful. Very good location, with a bus stop in front, 5 minutes walk to Plaza Cardenal Belluga and Catedral, restaurants, terraces and shops.||||Room was very very small, hardly any space to move around the double bed, the shower cabin smaller than standard, no soap in the bathroom, only two tiny sachets of shower gel, hardly enough to shower. Luckily I had my own toiletries. There is no elevator, it's difficult if you have heavy luggage.

Clean, comfortable, friendly helpful staff. A good deal for breakfast. Easy to find if you ignore Google maps! 20 min walk from the bus station. Head for Puente Viejo the old bridge, cross the bridge from the city and pension is 50m along on the R above cafe Alfonso, opposite Plaza de Camachos. Convenient for railway station too it is the same side of the river prob a 15 min walk if that, heading into town from station. Very handy for exploring the old city. Air con which I do not like so did not use; so a bit noisy at times with the window open - to be expected, in a city! Near the river which is lovely to walk / run along in the morning. Small room would not be so good if you have a lot of stuff; small bathroom would not suit someone who is 'Big'(!). I would come back - no complaints very happy to recommend
