Pension Te Miti

It's a very nice place to stay. The owners are amazing. Christelle is so helpful. She managed to find a solution for all the problems. I made a last-minute booking, and she made arrangements so I could stay four nights in the same room. Very helpful and excellent customer service. They can make magic happen. Stay here if you want to stay in a peaceful place in a relaxed atmosphere. Many thanks!

Good place to stay if you are on a budget or don't want to be shut away in a resort. Very friendly folks, surprisingly family friendly for a hostel, and they serve fresh fruit for breakfast alongside juice/coffee and bread.

We (a couple) loved our stay here. We had a nice cosy private room, but enjoyed very much the the common areas and talking with all the nice guests, the friendly hosts and the cute dogs! Our hosts helped us with many recommendations and bookings and were always friendly. The facilities are nice and clean and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking your own dinner etc. The location is ok, the area is very calm and quiet and it’s close to a very nice snorkeling beach. If you need to go places the (unreliable 😅) bus stops close to the pension, but we also had a lot of luck with hitchhiking :) Would recommend and would stay again if in Tahiti.

The best lodge I've experienced in Tahiti! Owners are super friendly and helpful. Bedrooms, kitchen, loundge areas, bathrooms are great! The breakfast provided is nice too (it's a continental breakfast: drinks, fresh fruit, baguette with butter and jam). And it's well situated, not too crowded and not far from good snorkeling spots, "roulottes", marae, etc.

Lovely hosts/owners, so friendly, we had a good laugh with them. |Shared kitchen is so clean and very handy. The bathrooms are a bit old, although the outside one is soon to be replaced so hopefully the inside one will next. All very clean though. |The room was a good size, mattresses pretty comfy and fly screens on the windows was great to let some air in. |Less than 5mins to Mahina park/beach (good for sunset happy hour drinks) and about 10mins to the better beach a little further north. |Breakfast was baguette, fresh fruit and tea/coffee. |You can also do laundry for 1000pf for a load. |Compared to the price of other places in Tahiti this was good value.

We have stayed here twice now. The owner’s are very knowledgeable about the island and always happy to have a chat. Friederich has a great sense of humor and will keep you amused throughout your stay. Rooms and amenities were spotless! It’s a little way from town, so rental car or scooter is advised.

We had an incredible time at Pension Te Miti. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with arranging our scooter rental. They had lots of tips about the island and we only regret we couldn’t stay longer. Breakfast is included and we enjoyed meeting the other guests over fresh baguettes and fruit. The nearby beach is easily accessible and has some of the best snorkeling I’ve seen just meters off shore. One note that is not specific to Pension Te Miti but rather to Tahiti as a whole- we recommend that travelers pack earplugs as the roosters start crowing very early every morning!

The pension is located in a calm street 200 meters aways from probably the best snorkelling beach on Tahiti. The rooms are decent and beds comfy. The hosts are very nice and gladly help with arranging tours, car rentals, airport dropoff etc. Nice French breakfast on a terrace is served daily (baguette, fruits, marmelades). Will be happy to come again.
