The queen twin room was clean and spacious enough for two. Great location since it's right in Perth city, making it easy to travel around. The staff was friendly, and we were able to check-in early at around 11AM since the room was already available so that was nice. Had daily complimentry tea & coffee, hair-dryer, and a safe. Deposit took around a month to return, might be because we used a debit card instead of a credit card, but it's not a major issue. Overall a great experience.

I stayed at Pensione Hotel Perth during a recent work trip and had a really pleasant experience. The hotel offers great value for money and is in an excellent location — right in the heart of the CBD, within walking distance to shops, cafes, restaurants, and public transport. It made getting around the city super convenient. The customer service was friendly and professional, with staff always greeting guests warmly and willing to help with directions or local tips. The room itself was clean and tidy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep after long workdays. While the rooms are on the smaller side, they’re well designed and have everything you need for a short stay. It’s worth noting that the hotel offers accommodation only, so there’s no on-site restaurant, gym, or room service. However, with so many dining options nearby, this wasn’t an issue at all. Overall, Pensione Hotel Perth is a great choice for business travellers or anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable stay in a central location. I’d happily stay here again on my next trip to Perth.

Over several years, I have stayed at the Pensione Hotel on multiple occasions and have consistently observed the staff’s courtesy and professionalism, as well as the hotel’s commitment to maintaining high standards of room cleanliness and maintenance. On my most recent visit, due to a scheduling delay, I was unable to return prior to the designated checkout time so the manager and housekeeping team efficiently packed and stored my belongings, which prevented a late checkout fee and allowed timely preparation for subsequent guests. The hotel offers competitive rates and enjoys a prime location, making it a commendable choice for travellers.

Stayed at this hotel for 1 night while visiting Perth. Room was modern and spacious. Hotel bed was very comfortable and room was clean. It was centrally located in the CBD area of Perth. It was a bit noisy at night (we were on a higher floor and could still hear people walking by on the ground level). Price was good value. Hotel was near to the train station. Would highly recommend when visiting Perth!

We stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay at the Pensione Hotel. The staff, especially Krisalyn were doing a fantastic job to make us feel comfortable and make our stay in Perth really enjoyable. She gave us great tips around the city, restaurants, assisted us in booking trips, etc. The rooms were super clean and modern, included a new air con and a fridge. The location of the hotel is fantastic, everything is in short distance.

Staff very friendly and helpful, location great but it is the worst hotel for the price we have ever stayed at. For $400 a night room is that small can hardly move, nowhere to put clothes away or bags to go, 1 power point in whole room and no chairs and have to sit on bed for 2 days. Very very disappointed as thought we would treat ourselves and it was terrible

My usual hotel in Perth was fully booked for this work trip, so I ended up here for several days. As a business traveller, I'll say I would stay here again - but only if other options were booked out. The standard (smallest) rooms are indeed small. Only one accessible power point to charge items, no real work area except for a slim bench and awfully uncomfortable stool, and only a hook for hangers (no wardrobe as such). Ironing equipment consists of a tiny benchtop ironing table and iron, both of which have to be collected from reception. The bathroom was basic with no frills as were the teabags, powdered coffee and kettle on the room shelf. The room was minimalist and stark in aesthetic. No room service or restaurant, but there is a small fridge if you get your own supplies (but no cutlery or crockery aside from tea cups/spoons). Cleanliness was acceptable. The number one downside was the noise. The room overlooks adjacent buildings and there were vehicles reversing in at all hours, loud drunks and garbage collections before sunrise. Add to that no soundproofing on the doors, so corridor conversations were very intrusive as were noises from rooms down the hall. The street outside the hotel entrance is horrible with derelict shops nearby - I didn't feel entirely comfortable outside until I got a block away. So, while it just scrapes in at a no-frills 3 star standard for hotels, it didn't quite deliver a comfortable, quiet experience. Pensione is probably ok for FIFO workers who only need somewhere to sleep or one night stays. But if you need some space and a comfortable work/relaxation area while travelling for business with some added comforts while away from home, this may not be the best option.

Affordable pricing with 5-star services. The room is very clean as they clean the room throughly everyday. They also have powerful hair-dryers. I like it that the air-con is not centralised and I can easily adjust it to my preference. Excellent location: 10-min walk to Perth Station, 5-min to Woolsworth, and 2-min walk to Chemist Warehouse. Appreciate the little card and chocolates that they prepared for me. Highly recommended for solo traveller, but the room may be squeezy for 2 pax and there is only one power point. Overall, a very enjoyable 8-night stay!

Yelp
The best place to stay if there's anything that needs attending to in the city. Especially if you book early via Agoda.com Strategically located and just love the compactness and coziness of the hotel and moneys worth when booked via Agoda.

Yelp
Had a wonderful stay here. One night in a queen room for $98! On the 5th floor with a window that actually opens so was able to get fresh air! The room was small but the bed was so comfortable! Had tea and coffee making. Also being a booking.com user I got a late 1pm check out which was amazing! I was really happy to give a $100 cash deposit most hotels require 150-200 that gets frozen and can take 5 days! So this was great to be able to hand over cash and get it back when I checked out! The staff were friendly and would definitely stay again. Right in the heart of the city close to bars and McDonald's.

Yelp
This hotel was a bag of surprises, not only is room service between unreasonable hours, there is little to no parking, no mention of complimentary gifts or offers, for a double room there is barely any breathing space, no room for clothes or bags. Pillows were hard and underneath sheets there was an abundance of hairs - to wake up and know I've slept on that all night doesn't instill a good nights rest. Biggest fail was the fact the windows weren't polarised or tinted so I could visibly see into my room from the street.
