We had an absolutely amazing stay in Positano and truly cannot recommend this place enough. From the moment we arrived, Carlo went above and beyond for us—he was there for our every need. The sweetest and most hospitable host, he helped us with taxis, gave us the best food recommendations, waited for us when we made it past curfew, and patiently answered every little question we had along the way. He made us feel so welcome and taken care of, like we were staying with family. The room itself was spotless and incredibly comfortable, but the real highlight was the view—absolutely breathtaking. We never got tired of sitting on the balcony and soaking it all in. It was honestly more beautiful than we could have imagined. Considering the price compared to other nearby places, this stay was beyond worth it. I would give it more than five stars if I could—seriously. The location was also perfect: yes, there are stairs (as there are everywhere in Positano), but it’s just a quick 2-minute walk from the main street with restaurants and shops, and very close to Fornillo Beach. If you’re looking for the perfect Positano stay, this is it. Thank you, Carlo, for making our trip so special!

Very pleased with our stay. The place is very traditional so do not expect luxury, but it is what we’ve been looking for. Rooms are large and clean. Staff is very friendly. The views from the balcony were amazing. The location is good, and you can easily access both beaches in Positano.

Although its little bit far away from the beach of Positano, it is a great pension for sleeping. It has great rooms and they explain good their rules and everything. And it is one of the cheap pension around Positano.

an old couple own this property. their are very friendly. and also a young lady staff very patient to answer our questions and request. I think the location of the accommodation is quite convenient. Positano is up and down the hill. the accommodation is in the middle of the hill. is 15 mins walk to the main bus station to sorrento or amalfi. stairs are inevitable in positano. if you have luggage, no worries there are porters that can bring it to or from hotel. €15 per luggage the acommodation is an old building. the room is unexpectedly very old , under expectation. definitely not worth of money,but In positano hotels are very expensive. so this is the cheapest we can find at our travel period.

unfortunately I had no Sleep the whole night because of this bed the way they put it together and they were trying to make it basically a queen bed The bed was splitting on Half it was nightmare. For the Money they charge definitely not worth it

Lovely hotel overlooking Positano. Rooms are spacious and clean and bathroom has everything you'll need. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Good WiFi and roof terrace. As with many places in Positano there is no vehicular access,, there is a path with steps from the road. There is no breakfast here also.

This delightful and comfortable Pensione is ideally located for access to Positano and its less frequented beach to the north. While accessing the Pensione takes some extra steps, it's well worth the effort. Excellent service and friendly staff.

Pensione Maria Luisa was an amazing place to stay in Positano. The location and the views are unreal- both the city view rooms and ocean view rooms are mesmerising. On top of the comfortable rooms, the hosts- Carlo and his daughter were the most accomodating, helpful and friendly hosts I’ve had the pleasure of meeting with. They went above and beyond to help us out and gave great recommendations whenever we had a question about transport, activities etc. The beach below the hotel is stunning with amazing views, with the choice of a public area or beach clubs- and is less busy than the main beach. We found it easier to walk around to the main beach and then take the road up as opposed to the stairs, takes a bit longer but you see more of Positano and its gentler on the knees ;) Thank you so much for our stay
