We an apartment for one night. The place was great, very clean and spacious. We even had a kitchen with everything we needed. It’s so close to the train station. Highly recommend

I don't normally write reviews but this time I have to. The only mistake that I've made was that I have looked only on booking reviews and not google ones also where I can see the same complains that I have. I really don't understand how this accomodation received good reviews here.I am shocked. So, apart from free parking and the fact that is close to center, almost 25 minutes walking, everything is terrible. We entered the building and the receptionist looked upset, we entered the room, very tiny and a bit dirty, the sheets were dirty, only a bit of toilet paper, the bathroom dirty. We could not sleep at all, this is the very main complain, you can here everything, trains, trams and cars so you definitely cannot sleep. The bed is loud when you move, the mattress uncomfy. A hotel should be made for sleeping, first of all, this one is made for anti sleeping, it's like you're getting punished for something and you also pay for it, quite a bit( 250ron) as it don't deserve even 50 ron. At 8am, the stuff were screaming a throwing things in the hotel hall, they were changing rooms but very very loud, we were trying to get some sleep then but obviously we could not. The eggs from breakfast were made 1 day ago for sure, very dried, frozen mushy vegetables, plus there were very few options, cheap stuff. I don't recommend at all and I am not even a picky person, just look for other options, even more expensive if you don't find cheaper ones because you'll have a bad experience, a bad sleep and a ruined holiday.

I don't understand those negative reviews. You get what you pay for! It is a nice hotel with good service. Yes, next to the train station but if you're not stupid: you've seen this before booking! The breakfast is lovely, the rooms are nice. The bed slept well. Just a little bit warm, but for me this is okay. I requested breakfast earlier because I needed to go on a train the next morning and this was not a problem. For me: 5 star recommended! If you're looking for a good and cheap place to stay with nice breakfast!!!

Stayed for two weeks here, it was fair but not good enough. We took two apartments and one of them was overlooking the street and it was super noisy when trams and trains pass by. Breakfast was 5/10 as it didn’t feel any good at all but acceptable for a fast snack. The underground parking is a great feature but be aware as it is very steep

I had booked 1 night but arrived in the city at 7:30 am, way early for any check in. I wasnt hoping for my room to be available until the scheduled time. However, I was greeted by a very kind receptionist, she was English-speaking and allowed me to check in early which was absolutely fantastic due to cold weather outside and overall situation. The room itself is completely fine for the money they ask. Hugely recommend this hotel!

We stayed in a one-bed apartment on the first floor. The building is adjacent to the main train station and a very busy street so constant noise from cars and trains. The apartment itself is spacious but the kitchen is not fully equipped as listed but with only 3 plates (one of them of the disposable type), a few cups and glasses, 2 forks, 2 spoons and ONE knife. There's a hob but absolutely no pots, pans or any cooking utensils. The breakfast is somewhat limited, both on food choices and actual space in the room. Very uninspiring and, I'll call it what it is, poor quality. They had no black teabags left, only herbal etc. I asked for more teabags but was told there was no more! The shower is of the "wet room" type (meaning there's no glass panel or curtain) but somehow the design is totally flawed and the whole place becomes a paddling pool after a couple of minutes. There's no adequate drainage and that water just sits there till evaporation happens. No mop provided either. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired as suggested by some rather gross stains under the toilet. The Wi-Fi did not work for a single minute during our whole 3-day stay despite speaking to reception staff after arrival (that's the first thing you notice these days) and nothing was done to resolve the problem either. On our second day I tried to complain about the lack of Internet connection again but the lady at the reception was a different one from the previous day. Not only she knew nothing about it but she did not speak any English either. With the help of Google Translate she did try to help us and actually came to the apartment and tried to fix the router by the usual on-off switch method. That had already been attempted many times to no avail and she soon gave up and left after saying that "she'll let the boss know". Such a coincidence - that's exactly what the other lady said on the previous day! Overall, the whole experience could have been a lot better. Like some people say, you get what you pay for but (for Romanian prices) we seem to have been shortchanged. We will not be coming back here.

A simple night and needed a place close to the railway station as I had an early departure. The room was basic and a little sparse with no coffee / tea making facilities at all and whilst it did have a fridge there was something left in it which smelt a little nasty and so I didn’t open it. The bathroom was quite large and the shower had good power. Fair I suppose and ok if that is what you need but I don’t think I would stay there again.

The rooms were very clean, my main complaints were that the floor squeaked when you walked on it, which is expected as its an old building. And secondly the noise from the trains and traffic downstairs could be heard from the third floor so it was hard to sleep. Besides those, the building was kept clean, I like the decor , the staff was very helpful and the breakfast was great for the price. If i need an early train from Cluj-Napoca I would return there for a night since its only 3 minutes from the train station.
