It's a vintage property in a beautiful, quiet location in front of a park and 1 min walk from the beach. Make sure to check the pictures - if you want flashy, modern hotel - look elsewhere. If you want quirky and charming - that's your place :) We got two double rooms that were connected forming kind of an apartment with one bathroom to share. The beds were comfy, there was a fridge, TV, kettle and a balcony. The bathroom was clean and spacious and had basic toiletries provided. The place was clean and pleasant. Of course it's not a modern hotel but we were prepared for that so old furniture and features were expected. Nothing was broken though and the décor was full of character. We loved it. Check-in and checkout were fast and easy. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Great value for money too.||||On a more negative side. The quirky and charming properties of the hotel are on the verge of neglect in a few places. It could definitely use a bit more love. We personally didn't mind it that much but it was noticeable. Hopefully a good summer season this year will help improve the situation. And final note - please don't store spare mattresses / folding beds in front of the rooms! That's not a nice thing to see and it was like that for the whole stay.

Amazing , family run small hotel in the heart of Sopot, 50m to the beach, seaview from most of rooms. One of the most beautiful buildings in Downtown Sopot. Rooms are huge, clean with balcony and almost all of them can accomodiate 3 adults. Very comfortable, large beds, You can feel atmosfhere of early XIX century and warmly welcome of all staff and owner. I reccomend this hotel after several stays in Grand, Sheraton ..now is my absolutely favorite...

Pros. Great location. Definitely above the 2stars it's actually rated Big rooms. Our room (8) with marvellous view, we can say that from our balcony we have seen the 'sopot molo', beautiful park and the sea (obviously not from every room in the hotel) Very quiet Very high celling- the room had fresh air and did not overheat (it was spring - cannot promise about the summer, but it is so close to the sea side, that you should be able to cool the room with the sea breeze (it is alwayscold in Poland)). Clean. Even though the furniture is true retro style, you can see it is well maintained, deep cleaned regularly. Cleanness 10/10. Stylish, retro furniture. The same style in the lobby. Included: Shower gel, soaps, small electric kettle, ceramic cups, spare towels and blankets. Receptionist was available 24h and very friendly. Cons: No air-conditioning (but its 2* hotel and cheap for the location)- I'm moaning for the sake of moaning. No fridge in the room (once you understand the Polish culture, you'll in fact appreciate it- no alko parties in the rooms- quiet nights) The toilet was so close to the sink, that I could drink water from the tap while seating- don't understand reasons for putting them so close to each other in such a spacious bathroom. Bed was a king size (or larger) , but with 2 mattresses- small gap in the middle- could be an issue for young couples :) Overall an amazing stay. Great location- close to the sea and the main tourist attractions. Reasonably priced (for the location). Very impressive for the 2 stars rated hotel. All pictures taken with the real life 'mess', when leaving- when you arrive all is clean and tidy :)

This is a very good hotel/B&B; don't take too much notice of the outside because the inside is quirky with character. The rooms are of a reasonable size, clean and bathrooms were good. Each room we had also had a small balcony; bit nippy in the winter but very good for the summer. great location; 2 minutes from the beach and a gentle 5 minute stroll to the main square where the bars and restaurants are. Breakfast was very good and the price was excellent value.mHighly recommended.

The room was disappointing having fallen for the trick photography ( I should know better at my age ). The room was much smaller than it appeared but the experience was offset by the outstanding location. 5 minutes from the beach, 10 minutes to Monte Casino. The breakfast was a grand selection of all sorts and one could order scrambled or fried eggs, done to perfection. The staff were lovely and extremely good. Well spoken English at reception as well. I would go back but be more discerning with the room.

Well appointed pension with a character and friendly, helpful staff. Nice wooden floors with a retro furniture; superb breakfast in Polish style. Very good value for money. ||Towels are changed every 3 days and hence the eco-guilt does not arise. ||One feels instantly at home in this hotel.

The best thing is location - very close (like 2 min walk) to the beach (but without the view, there is a building between Eden and the beach) and no more than 7 min from Monte Cassino street. ||The hotel is rather old-fashioned. If you like the atmosphere from the beginning of the 20nd century, you will be delighted. However the entry is a bit neglected and not very impressing when you see it for the first time. ||I stayed in a single room with a bath - it was clean enough, very comfortable bed, a TV and a kettle in the room. I could use the ironing board (outside of the room) and I could borrow the hairdryer (of course for free). I had unlimited access to the dining room with the coffee maker and nice choice of tee (for free as well).||The great advantage is breakfast - fantastic choice of food (including meat, different kinds of cheese, eggs, cereals, home-made cake). ||Hotels in Sopot are rather expensive. In Eden the interior is not very luxury but comfortamble, the location is great and the breakfast is incredibly tasty. So I think it is worth the price.

We have traveled a lot around the world (you can read our many reviews of various kinds). This is our fifth visit to Sopot, we have stayed at both Sheraton and Grand Hotel, and some Airbnb. This time we chose this little pension, we wanted a cozy stay with breakfast. And we got what we expected! |How you will like this hotel depends solely on your expectations. We expected a genuine polish experience, we thought that for the price (30/40 € night double w breakfast!) the standard couldn't be too high, but to our surprise this hotel turned out to be a little gem. Romantic, little worn out, yes, but clean and charming. Old with lots of soul and spirit. |You actually don't feel that you stay in a hotel, more that you visit a polish family (family photos in the restaurant and a very familiar feel). The staff was very friendly and spoke good English. Even though the rooms are sparsely furnished they are clean and the bathrooms are renovated (ask for a room with balcony - from our room we could see the sea!). The breakfast was excellent with typical polish dishes, also you could order eggs the way you wanted them. The location couldn't be any better. Just next to the beach and the shopping street Monte Cassino. But still quite and we slept very good. The beds are comfortable, the tv works and the wifi is fast. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who is a romantic soul, who enjoys genuine experiences and isn't too fond of "chain-hotel"-standards..who prefers simplicity and comfort. |We will definitely be back! ||
