We stayed here for three nights right after Christmas. The rooms are spacious with nice furniture; while the decor feels a bit dated and shows some wear, the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The large windows are a great feature, though the TV channels weren't working during our stay (despite the smart infotainment system functioning fine). One significant downside was the heating—it wasn't efficient enough for the winter cold, especially in the middle of the night. Service-wise, I had a mixed experience. On the second day, the hot water pressure in the shower became very weak. I informed reception, and while they promised to look into it, I never received an update and the problem was never resolved. This was disappointing for a 4-star establishment. Additionally, it was the first 4-star hotel I’ve visited without a phone in the room, which was confusing since the infotainment system still lists various internal phone numbers and options. On the positive side, the self-check-in/out process was smooth, and the lobby bar staff were very friendly. I also highly appreciated the 24-hour gym; it’s small but well-equipped. Breakfast was excellent—high-quality products, great coffee, and fresh juices, even if the selection was a bit repetitive. The location is great, with a lovely coffee shop right in front and a high-end shopping zone just 10 minutes away. Overall, a nice stay, but the room temperature and the unresolved maintenance issues were letdowns.

The staff at Pentahotel Brussels City Centre were outstanding, from the doormen at night to the front desk team and cleaning crew. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they went out of their way to ensure we felt at home and had everything we needed. The venue itself was a mix of experiences. The downstairs reception and Pentalounge area offer a lovely space to unwind, relax, and spend time with loved ones or friends. It has a great aesthetic and atmosphere. However, this contrasts with the hotel rooms, which felt a little dated and less cosy compared to the inviting ambiance of the main hotel areas. Nevertheless, the service was excellent overall, and we would consider staying again when we revisit the city in the future.

Great rooms , varied and good quality breakfast and a buzzing atmosphere. The hotel is a fair walk to Grand Place area but perfectly walkable. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel is lovely with a lot of young people staying and has an eco ethos which includes a no daily cleaning unless you want it. We were perfectly happy with that. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was excellent. My room was a little noisy but to be expected in a capital city and my room was a good size. We were very glad we chose the Pentahotel and would choose again.

The hotel is in an excellent location, just a short walk from the city centre. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean with a very comfortable bed. However, the parking was extremely expensive, and the basement layout made it hard to find both the car park and the hotel lift. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few areas that could be improved

I stayed at the Penta Hotel in Brussels City Centre and had a generally positive experience. The location is superb; easy to get around, close to plenty of shops and restaurants, and still surprisingly quiet at night. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was decent with enough variety to start the day comfortably.|The room itself was quiet, but the cleanliness could have been better. A few details were missed, and it didn’t quite feel as fresh as it should for a hotel in this category. The biggest downside was the lack of good air-conditioning options; the room felt stuffy and cold at times. The TV and available channels didn’t really work, so there weren’t any proper in-room options for entertainment.|Overall, it’s a solid stay -comfortable enough, great location, and good service- but with a few areas that could be improved. I’d rate it around 3.5 to 4 out of 5.

nice big bed in a big room. a bit more expensive than I'd normally book but we were dealing with a cancelled eurostar and will be compensated. main issue was that the smoke/fire detector beeped and went off a couple of times in the middle of the night (around 5); like proper blaring. quite disconcerting. I mean it stopped after a couple of second but still we were wide awake. The person at the reception downstairs didn't seem to be particularly bothered about the whole thing; didn't even ask for our room number when we went to check what was going in. Maybe it happens all the time?

We stayed just one night and it was an excellent experience. The room and bathroom were very spacious, the beds were really comfortable, and even the extra bed had a great-quality mattress, which we truly appreciated since we were three people. I loved the hotel’s atmosphere: the reception combined with the bar gives it a modern and relaxed vibe, with pool tables and plenty of food and drink options. Breakfast was another highlight: very complete, with different egg options, sausages, bacon, potatoes, fresh fruit, yogurt, a variety of breads, juices, cold cuts, and hams. A perfect start to the day. The location was also ideal – not right in the city center but close enough to get there easily on foot or by public transport. Overall, a hotel with great ambiance, comfort, and excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend it.

They claim to have room service, but in reality, you have to go to the reception, pay there, and then carry your order to your own room! The hotel is extremely old and falling apart. The carpets are filthy, and there are yellow stains inside the bathtub. The curtains are dusty, and the staff are incredibly rude. After parking our car at night, we tried to enter through the hotel’s private parking gate, but no one opened the door—completely irresponsible. The room was freezing cold; when we asked for heating, they mockingly offered to bring us a small electric heater. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel—I truly regret staying here.

Yelp
I love this hotel! The lounge/restaurant is very cosy, lively, ambient and attractive, the staff at the reception friendly. I never had to wait, I was immediately served. There is a small fitness that seems to be open day and night, also a big plus for people that like to work out late at night. The rooms are spacious, with a kingsize comfortable bed and a large TV. The bathroom is well made with space to put your stuff. Bathroom amenities like shampoo/body lotion are well presented in a travel proof toiletry bag. There is a coffee -and tea maker in the room, absolutely a must for me. I haven't tried the food but the prices are okay, you can have room service till 22:30 and you have the choice out of salads, burgers, pizza and pasta from 8€ to 15€. Empty fridge in the room and a candy/snack/drinks vending machine in the hallway, perfect. The neighbourhood is excellent, many nice restaurants and shops, you won't get bored! If I had to find one thing to improve, a magnifying mirror in the bathroom would be great. In the elevator there is stated that there is a mini gym at the first floor but I haven't found it, bummer :-/ Anyway, good place, good prices!

Yelp
Great place to relax and chill with nice background music The bar choice is very interesting and varied so you will always find some cool liquid fun, the only turndown are the high prices for drinks Food is delicious and more North American food but then more likely quality steaks and burgers

Yelp
Very frustrated. WiFi doesn't work, only 2 flat pillows for 2 beds, gave only 2 extra but need 4 to equal 1 pillow. Itchy warm sheets. Dark crappy carpets and curtains. No bathroom counter! No air in hot bathroom! Horrible service, same receptionist did housekeeping tasks! Lobby and halls dark & stinks! I can't wait to leave in AM!
