Polite staff, great location, good breakfast and I was in general happy. Very creative hotel. You can get a bottle of complementary water at your stay in the hotel. There a also a sauna there

Had a one night stay here that was the result of an unplanned emergency situation and searched for a hotel in the medium price range close to the railway. I have to say I was lucky. Friendly and seamless check-in, very nice room with a cool design that successfully covers that the building is probably a bit older, very good beds that were surprisingly large. And definitely warm water - judging from previous writers this used to be a problem. I very much liked the interior design of the bar and the breakfast room and the breakfast was not only worth the money but came with a nice choice of just everything - including salmon and Bircher Müsl, different juices. And again very nice people doing the service. I definitely recommend the place. This hotel made a bad personal situation a little better. It's definitely well above the average of what I have seen. The hotel is old and dated. It looked like a 6-year-old decorated the room. The carpet was stained and had holes in it. The shower was very complicated to figure out. The floor fan was nice. The location was less than a 5-minute walk to the train station. And they don't even give you a cup of coffee in the morning

Good facilities and amazing food at the kitchen. Gym not so big but you can definitely do some workout. There’s room for improvement on some staff friendliness working on the night shift.

The staff were all nice and friendly. The rooms/bathroom were clean, just that there was a tiny poop stain in the toilet I had to clean myself (anyone could have missed it tho, I gat eagle eyes)The TV in my room must have been from the 80s, as good as not useful. The hotel had a nice gym, no sauna as advertised probably under construction. The location is perfect, by the side entrance/exit of the Hbf. Trams to city centre are all over. The room had big fan, very perfect for summer, just that some noise woke me up from waste bin truck 🚒 early in the morning, asides that it's quiet. Lifts/elevators worked well, breakfast cost 20 EUR, I didn't have one. For Kassel, this hotel is not bad and I can recommend it.

Good position, good service but rooms could me much better (bed is ok and the bathroom, but too warm and just with ventilator)

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, which is conveniently located close to Wilhelmshöhe station (the main arrival point for long-distance trains). Note that the hotel is much nearer to the secondary exit from the station platforms accessed by using the lift than by going up the ramp to exit via the main station building. ||||We thought the hotel and breakfast satisfactory, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. As busy times we had to wait some time for the lift (elevator), but this was probably because one of the two lifts was being replaced.

Payed over 100 euros(approx. 50-55 booking price) just for a night, because we came in at night (03.00). Older looking room, a standing fan as 'aircondition'. Older looking painting, dark long hair in bathtub. Quick service and friendly check in, location is close enough to the highway.

I didn't like it here at all. No Air Conditioner and it gets so hot and humid. And one of the males at the front desk is very rude. The beds are hard. Restaurant closes early so no late food service.

I like the Penta concept. My favorite is their Leipzig hotel (should you ever go, pay the premium and enjoy their lounge - it's blast. If you do not have the time to enjoy it, at least check it out). The Penta Kassel is, unfortunately, only a small-scale copy of the Leipzig extravaganza, but still worth it's 4**** - and still the hotel of our choice whenever we are in Kassel. If you dine there and like your steak medium rare - forget it. Tried it umpteen times, they never got it right. Rest seemed ok, though.

The room we had was not too big, but fine. Kingsize bed with a comfortable duvet. Bathroom with a shower in the bathtub. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant, which is cosy. Menu card with enough choices. Well cared for, nothing special. Breakfast is a large buffet with a lot of choice among other fresh fruit ( not canned!) and all sorts of bread and rolls. Price-quality ratio is absolutely in balance.

Among the top 3 hotels in Kassel, and conveniently located near the main train station (Wilhelmshöhe). A rare hotel in Kassel with nightlife - active restaurant and bar, or short walk to other options. Contemporary design/decor, and hallway carpeting reminiscent of Kubrick's "Overlook" hotel, very cool.
