Pentahotel Kassel

The rooms are a bit dated, they do not come with irons. I had to request one three times, the front desk just kept hanging up on me without confirming, then when I was leaving I found one outside of my door in the hallway. Very puzzling. The morning breakfast is excellent. They have a nice lobby bar and lounge area with a pool table. The location is great with the train station right in front.

Great stay at Pentahotel Kassel! Super kid-friendly, staff made us feel welcome as a family, rooms are comfy, and location near the station is perfect. Best part: they still let you pay in cash (unlike those annoying cashless hotels). Relaxed vibe in the lounge and a good base for exploring Kassel!

Stayed overnight. Room was old, small and badly decorated but it was clean, quiet and comfortable. Please put moisturizer and toothpaste in bathrooms. Restaurant should offer more variety. Location is great. Price could have been lower. Lady at the check in was super positive and helpful.

The design is a bit colorful for my taste. The shower installation needs refurbishment ( leaky tube, rust in the bath tub). Too many Emails!!!!

I had requested a baby bed when I made the reservation, and it was supposed to be free. However, unfortunately, it wasn't available upon arrival, and I didn’t have the time to discuss the matter further. In addition, I needed a kettle and had to speak with the staff three times before it was finally brought to the room. The room amenities were somewhat disappointing compared to other hotels in the same price range — for example, there was no mini fridge. However, overall, the room is good, the bed is large, and the hotel's location is excellent.

Bad Service, when you call only an AI will pick up and answer your questions not that accurately. The room was not clean at all and way smaller than described. The Sauna is nice though.

I am in Kassel once a year for 3 nights! This was my first visit to Penta hotels and wont be my last! Funky rooms with lots of colour and an enormous comfortable bed! The staff are cool and very helpful! The food was excellent! It was the first time i looked forward to returning to my hotel at night! The southern fried chicken burger was 10 out of 10, the fish and chips was an 8( i just had fish and chips in London so hard to compete with that) and the angas burger was a 9 out of 10 ( one of yhe best i had eaten! Dont get me started on Breakfast! They have everything you can want! To quote Arnold “I will be back”!

It is a very nice hotel. The staff is very friendly and warm. This was very important for me. They helped us with many things. It is very close to the city center and many places in terms of transportation. The breakfast is quite sufficient and there are many kinds of food. I recommend it.

I didn't like it here at all. No Air Conditioner and it gets so hot and humid. And one of the males at the front desk is very rude. The beds are hard. Restaurant closes early so no late food service.

I like the Penta concept. My favorite is their Leipzig hotel (should you ever go, pay the premium and enjoy their lounge - it's blast. If you do not have the time to enjoy it, at least check it out). The Penta Kassel is, unfortunately, only a small-scale copy of the Leipzig extravaganza, but still worth it's 4**** - and still the hotel of our choice whenever we are in Kassel. If you dine there and like your steak medium rare - forget it. Tried it umpteen times, they never got it right. Rest seemed ok, though.

The room we had was not too big, but fine. Kingsize bed with a comfortable duvet. Bathroom with a shower in the bathtub. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant, which is cosy. Menu card with enough choices. Well cared for, nothing special. Breakfast is a large buffet with a lot of choice among other fresh fruit ( not canned!) and all sorts of bread and rolls. Price-quality ratio is absolutely in balance.

Among the top 3 hotels in Kassel, and conveniently located near the main train station (Wilhelmshöhe). A rare hotel in Kassel with nightlife - active restaurant and bar, or short walk to other options. Contemporary design/decor, and hallway carpeting reminiscent of Kubrick's "Overlook" hotel, very cool.
