Penvith Barns

Just back from a week here with friends. The accommodation is pretty much faultless. Top quality furniture, bedding, kitchen equipment and garden furniture. Views and location both beautiful. Might just be worth mentioning that we were an elderly group and the layout in terms of steps and stairs is a bit precarious and we did have a couple of tumbles. Otherwise our stay was perfect.

Just finished our stay at the beautiful Penvith Barns. The hosts Andrew and Theresa were fantastic. The rooms were beautifully kept and the surroundings and location were perfect. A stones throw from some great places. The breakfast….well……….WOW. We have stayed in some B&B’s and this has topped them all. Fresh eggs from the hens and the Cornish Sausage…..🤤 Highly recommend Crystal Cabs if you fancy a trip into Polperro or Looe. Reasonably priced and staff are super friendly! Would 110% recommend staying here and if you’re feeling adventurous then their Yurts are stunning with some truly amazing views. Will be back and already recommended family and friends who will be booking

Just arrived back from a totally enjoyable 5 day break at Penvith Barns. This is a stunning place surrounded by beautiful countryside yet within 2 miles of Looe. We stayed in the Dairy Room which was so spacious and airy, it had everything we needed. |Breakfast was plentiful and with lots of options, enough to set you up for the day! |Andrew and Teresa the hosts are the perfect hosts, they are so knowledgeable of the local area and nothing is too much trouble for them. |I would definitely recommend this lovely B&B for a trip to Looe😊

We had two nights at Penvith barns we stayed in the Hen House,it was a very nice room with beautiful views. The hosts Andrew and Teresa were so nice and friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. There were goats , sheep and chickens there which we could go and see and fresh eggs for breakfast, the breakfast was superb. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will be going there again very soon, first class all round. Well done!!

This beautifully managed bijoux hotel, although small, will not disappoint.||Andrew and Theresa are highly experienced hosts and the standards are exceptionally high. This period barn conversion has been completed to a very high standard with the room that we stayed in tastefully decorated and very much in keeping with the age of the property.||The selection for breakfast in the morning was extensive and freshly locally sourced, prepared to perfection .||The location for a break in Cornwall is ideal being well located making everywhere within reach.||Having spent forty years traveling the world in my career I am unable to find fault with Penvith Barns.||Very Highly recommended for a quiet getaway.||Captain C. Loved our stay at Penvith Barns! Andrew and Teresa made us feel so welcome and had excellent local knowledge. Great location with fab views and good access to Looe, Millendreath, Polperro and Seaton. Cooked breakfast was fabulous and our room 'The Dairy' was lovely and cool despite the boiling weather! ||Our 11 year old loved feeding the animals and insisted we return next year, which we will! :) Highly recommended and great value for money.

Really friendly welcoming hosts, Andrew and Theresa cant do enough to make you feel at home. Really enjoyed feeding the animals, The property is in a beautiful location with stunning views and is looked after to the highest order. Lovely breakfast to set you up for the day.

Neither of us could fault Penvith Barns. Andrew and Teresa were absolutely exemplary hosts, and what we particularly enjoyed was their authenticity and honesty around the local area. It really contributed to a great overall break away. ||||The room was spot on, nice and cool, clean and simple - everything we wanted. The breakfast was again perfect - the slow roasted sausages were exquisite and the hogs pudding was perfectly done.||||Cannot fault it - would 100% recommend to anyone in the area, and we’d definitely stay there again.
