Penzion Berc

There is a myriad of choices of where to stay in Bled. And there is only one best choice: Penzion Berc. Out of all the compliments I have to effuse about them (unique charm, great breakfast, room space, cleanliness, location), the thing that will forever endear them is their hospitality. I was arriving on a late train, and they coordinated a smooth arrival and check in for me after hours. Alen at the reception desk even made sure I had transportation to/from the train station. This is when it became clear that this establishment was more than a hotel. They cared about my travel experience and made efforts to ensure my safety and enjoyment. They always greeted me with a smile and happy hello, chatted about my home country, genuinely seemed interested in my visit. They offered an umbrella for the very rainy day, suggested sites for the best views or best meals, and even had breakfast prepared a few minutes early on my last day. It felt like staying with wonderful friends for the week (friends who give you your own space when you need it!) in a beautiful, comfortable, scenic place, within walking distance to everything! I will carry their smiling faces and welcoming spirit back with me to share with others in my life.

We stayed here last week. The breakfast was delicious, the lodgings were rustic and quaint, the location was close to Bled and the staff was incredibly kind! We loved our stay! We asked in advance if transport could be arranged because we were coming in late and the penzion arranged for transport for us. Alen sent us a video beforehand showing where our keys would be and double checked that we made it to our room. We will definitely be coming back here in the summer and would 100% recommend this penzion for anyone visiting Bled!!

Penzion Berc was just what we were looking for on our visit to Bled. There was convenient parking, the location was a short walk away from the lakefront, but removed enough to be quiet and away from the touristy area. |The staff were welcoming and friendly during our entire stay, and the atmosphere of the property is lovely. Our room was clean and offered all the modern amenities you could want, while still having old-world charm. |The breakfast had something for everyone and we found it very good. We would absolutely stay at Penzion Berc again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Bled.

A beautiful place to stay right in the heart of Bled, just a short 3 minute walk to the Lake . Our room was comfortable and clean, with a beautiful Alpine feel to it. A great shower, huge bed and lots of wardrobe space. Teas, coffees, biscuits and some drinks in the mini fridge was a really nice touch.  Breakfast was exquisite - small and fantastic quality, we had a savoury AND sweet breakfast every morning - even pouring ourselves a Mimosa. Cannot recommend enough!

We are very happy to have stayed in such a wonderful place. Everything was excellent — from the breakfast to the atmosphere and the rooms. The lake is easily reachable with a short and pleasant walk. It’s one of the best areas to stay in, and we are sure we will come back again.

This was one of the nicest places we've ever stayed at. It was absolutely amazing, I can't rate this place highly enough. The room was beautiful and spacious, very very clean. Breakfast was plentiful and lots of choice 😋 absolutely delicious. Can't wait to return again. We had the best time. Plus very close to all the activities and the lake.

The room was wonderful, very nicely appointed. Lovely well-maintained property. Fabulous service. The owner even made dinner reservations for us elsewhere for that evening since they weren't open on Sunday. We did eat there the following evening and the food was great! Beautiful, charming property. Very quiet. I loved being away from the crowds as this hotel is in a more residential area but just a short downhill walk to lakeside and the main tourist areas.

A must stay !! 5 min walk to the town and lake bled , the most wonderful staff , breakfast made with the freshest ingredients from their garden , and the lady serving breakfast was the most sweet and kind person. The room is stocked with water , juice , sparking wine , fruit , cookies , coffees and teas - all complimentary. High end bath products in the bathrooms as well. 11 rooms total with balconies |Such a great value and we felt so comfortable |A perfect stay !! 5star
