Penzión Central Park

Where to start, this hotel is very expensive in comparison to others in the area so we expected a certain standard. To begin we were informed that the pool was closed on Thursdays and that we could not use the facilities (basically the only reason we booked here) it says nowhere on the website or booking.com that this is the case. Next, the train noise from the room is abysmal with the windows open, and the AC is completely ineffective with the windows closed, this forces the guest to chose between being uncomfortably hot or sleep being disturbed throughout the night by noise. The hot food on the breakfast was completely inedible, I mean absolutely disgusting, the cold pastries were okay but it's not what we expected from an "upmarket" hotel. Finally when we did manage to get into the spa, it was not a child friendly or woman friendly space with 3-5 older local man not clothed in the hot tub and walking around. The pool itself was grubby and did not look like the photos provided. The service throughout our stay was miserable and rude frankly, I urge anyone considering this hotel to reconsider

Well, this is not gonna be an easy one. Really great location! Perfect service and friendly stuff. Pretty good kitchen. However... the rooms... no blinders = too much light at 5:30am and other few problems. But in general, good value for money and I recommend it!

The hotel Central Park is situated in the Park SNP. The railway station is 5 minutes walking distance. The city center is 2 minutes walking distance. The reception is working 24/7. There is also a restaurant in the hotel. They offer free parking for cars. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast was quite good and offered different food. There is also some typical Slovakian food for breakfast - you will know it when you see it. The hotel has a swimming pool and sauna. For the sauna, you need a reservation. Enjoy jour stay!

Hotel is in a great spot overlooking park and near shops and square. Had a lovely swim, sauna and steam room. Rooms clean and well appointed though no hair dryers. |Arrived in morning to have breakfast. No welcome, no smile from staff and we were left the dregs of leftovers. Only managed to find a yogurt and a damaged pear to eat. |Other parts of hotel well great including the reception staff.

I like this small hotel located in the park. Although sometimes you can hear a noise from nearby train station when the window is open generally the hotel and surroundings make me feel peaceful and relaxing, which is really appreciated after busy days. Rooms are reasonably furnished, cosy and clean. ||Hotel has a parking lot in the back yard, so the car is safe. It is possible to use a spa and hotel also offers various kind of massages for very favourable price.

We had a family celebration here. The services were very good, there was everything you needed. The location is just perfect, very close to the city center. There were only 2 negative things that I must mention - one is that the wellness was stinking and the other that the pork sirloin was prepared very unprofessionally - very very dry :) But in overal it was a nice stay

This was a great hotel. Rooms were great and service was impeccable. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. The spa was superb! Great for relaxation! Breakfast in the morning was great. Location was awesome, close to everything. Would stay here again. Def 5 star!
