Pépé Bistro

A lovely, relaxed French Bistro in the heart of Phnom Penh with extremely friendly, but not overbearing, staff! The food was excellent with a great selection of wines, spirits and digestifs. Marie the owner/manager was attentive and friendly too!

pepe serves the BEST carpaccio and risotto😋honestly, everything is scrumptious and i loveee their desserts🍨 shop is a bit cramped and crowded but it feels cozy in a way.

Every meal and drink are delicious. When visiting without a reservation, it can get crowded and you might be seated at the counter. But the staff are really attentive and will move you to a table once one becomes available.

This restaurant is by far one of the best food experience I had in Cambodia, maybe in Asia. All the dishes were perfectly executed, flavours matched amazingly well and the service was excellent. Food was so good. Squid was wow. Will go back for sure. I got into a great conversation with another couple and the manager gave their recommendation list for PP and SR. I went to Au Marche as result. Great recommendation - both are amazing.

The food was good, we had: - foie gras 8/10 (tastes not as strong as I would have liked, the texture was a bit soft. But still good!) - grilled fish of the day 8/10 (fish itself was amazing! Well seasoned. However the pasta underneath could be seasoned a bit more) - bavette steak 10/10! (excellent flavors for a money-worth piece of meat! The fries and salad also accompanied perfectly the meat) - frangipan/pistachio tart with sorbet 10/10 (good! Nothing to say, a classic taste with balanced sweetness) One of the partners was so kind to us! She offered us to try a few wines before choosing which one we liked. Merci Marie! ❤ The staff is also very well trained. You can tell by their precise movements and elegant manners 👍 Recommended!

Food was good, the owner lady was really nice but the staff was suspect. This was the only place I used my debit card while I was in Cambodia. That same day I found a charge from Microsoft for $99.99. This was a new debit card which I have never connected to any Microsoft accounts. It was just a coincidence that it happened the same day I used my debit card there. The owner may want to keep an eye on the staff or maybe bring the card reader to the customer. Not blaming the restaurant but kind of suspicious.
