We had such a great time stopping here with our group of 6 for lunch. I definitely recommend the fish and chips and the wedge salad. It was so fresh and tasty! The tartar sauce was SO good! I would also definitely recommend the oysters and large shrimp to start! I probably would not recommend the lobster rolls from here as it was pretty plane like lobster and the bread with light seasoning. That’s maybe just a personal preference thing though? I put their tartar sauce on it and it was VERY good. The slaw it comes with is also light and tasty! Aside from that, our server, Michelle, was SO great and fun! The drinks were also so tasty! I would absolutely recommend a visit!

Pepe’s is a great spot for dinner right by the water, and you can catch a beautiful sunset if you time it right. The steak was cooked perfectly, the lamb chops were delicious, and the catch of the day—halibut—was fresh and nicely done. Cozy atmosphere with a great view, definitely a solid pick in Ptown. Make sure you make reservations.

Pepe's has the best patio on the water. Ricardo was a fantastic server. Cocktail list is expansive and well crafted. The food is good, but could benefit from a touch more of seasoning and a treated bun for my taste.

If Provincetown had a postcard view, it would be from Pepe’s Wharf. Perched right over the bay, this spot serves up sunshine, sea breezes, and some seriously good vibes. Start with a round of fresh oysters, treat yourself to a cocktail (or two), and whatever you do, don’t skip the frozen Aperol—it’s basically summer in a glass. We came back everyday of our vacation, the bar staff is exceptional. They are the kind and friendly, knowledgeable folks who make you feel like a regular from the moment you walk in. Your entire experience will be nothing short of Amazing!

Dine while overlooking the marina. Delicious food. Shrimp from raw bar was amazing. Coconut cake for dessert was off the charts. Not inexpensive, but worth it if you’re visiting P-Town.

Pepe’s is absolutely incredible. The food is delicious, the view is gorgeous, and the service is spectacular. Alfredo was such a joy to have as our waiter, and had great recommendations for our meal and drinks. Highly recommend Pepe’s when you’re in Ptown.

I love that they put much effort into assigning tables for you. I indicated “date” when I made my reservation and they put us in a spot where it was by the water, much quieter and right next to people who are more so couples too or smaller quieter groups. I saw that upstairs are much bigger groups, friends and louder drinking crowd and they seem to be having fun. Isn’t great if everyone in the restaurant is having fun without clashing with each other. I hate it when a place just randomly place customers on any available table or just try to get as much traffic as they can by rushing people or getting em in and out. I have experienced putting date on a reservation and a restaurant still placed us right next to a family of 8 with 6 kids. What in the world did they think that was a great idea? but Pepe’s did not do that to us. They meticulously put people in designated spots that have been well thought of. Im unsure who to compliment for this either manager or the host/hostess. But they did a great job! The raw bar is top tier, cocktails taste good with decent buzz and great service. I highly recommend. But make sure to make a reservation to avoid wait times.

This was a nice find. Great staff and energy from the team! Javier did an amazing job w our table and ensuring we had everything we needed. We ordered a bunch of diff items such as salads, soups, oysters and burgers. Its a spot i would truly come back to. Javier just added that extra spark and energy to create an amazing dinner experience

Came to pepes for dinner and had a great time. The outdoor view was great and the ambiance was really nice. Service here was good, but this is the only place in town that ID'ed us and unfortunately one of us forgot our IDs, so that was kind of annoying. We got the crabcake which was good, but quite small. For $18 I would have expected more. I also got the roasted cod which was tasty as well and would recommend. Overall, good experience and would come back!

We made a reservation here while visiting Provincetown! The ambiance leading into the restaurant was lovely - tucked against the ocean, hydrangeas as you walk in, and plenty of outdoor seating with a view of the boats and the water. We enjoyed glasses of Truro rose, which quickly became a trip favorite, and some oysters to start with. I chose the pesto pasta and added shrimp, and my friend chose the lobster ravioli. Both were great, filling, and flavorful! We enjoyed the ambiance and our evening there. Service was a bit underwhelming - nothing was late or wrong, but just nothing to write home about in terms of care by the server. Either way, we had a great time.

We've visited their upstairs deck for years. It has gotten pricy but the harbor views are nice. We tried clam chowder and scallop rolls. Good! I had a Pina colada--my first all summer. Fine. We sat outside by bar for the gorgeous views. Bar servers were attentive in a nice way. I was with the newly weds in my family. They enjoyed and we took some nice photos of them!

Pepe's has been around for many years with a new transition in management or ownership that has exceptionally boosted the restaurant's profile. As a group of 8 on a busy Friday night, we sat for dinner promptly at 6:00. Table was set in the far corner overlooking the sea. It was a perfect view. Ambience was lively, well dressed, and diverse. Pure PTown. I understand that the building offers two views of the sea. Ours was on the top floor. Our waiter, Alfredo, accurately recited the menu with a level of precision by which he served us with attention all night. He was accompanied by a team of 2 or 3 professional waiters, similar to what you would see in a NYC steakhouse. I had a the seared tuna (photo) and between the halibut, chicken Milanese, linguine, fish and chips, and the pecorino flatbread appetizers, we dined like royalty. Not an inexpensive dinner for sure, but not at all overpriced for PTown on a Friday night. Overall, Pepe's heightened what was a wonderful time to meet up with old friends at a venue that specializes in a dining experience emblematic of a Cape Cod summer evening.

This is a sad story - it used to be amazing Now it's bad food -hastily made and snippy staff that would rather be anywhere else .

Provincetown sure made a positive first impression on me and Jamie W. Once we got off the ferry from Boston, we walked to our Airbnb just a block off Commercial Street and was completely floored how new and beautiful the cottage was. We arrived late in the afternoon, so when we were ready for dinner, we ventured only two quick blocks to this seaside spot. There were a couple of hiccups at the outset. The hostess was quite snippy and refused to make eye contact. We were then initially seated right next to the water but got deprioritized when a party of six regulars arrived. The dessert-like combination of high-kicking vodka, kahlua, Irish cream, chocolate syrup, and whipped cream just got us in the right mood for dinner. It had been so long since my last lamb choice, so I was quite enjoying it. A nice intro to the P-Town dining scene. Loved the decor and outdoor seating, they brought out heat lamps during dinner. Fish and chips were great, although there could have been more fish for the price. Lemon drop martini was excellent.

My husband and I were in Ptown for two weeks. The number one place we went to eat was Pepe's!!! Here's why... Between the delicious food, the ambiance inside and out and the service, I would add service as the number one reason to dine here. Deanna was our server for most of the days we ate at Pepe's. She is a talented individual and amazing at her craft. Communication, promptness and friendliness exudes from her! It was awesome to dine with her taking such amazing care of us. We returned one night before leaving with a party of 8 who all enjoyed her as she took care of each person's dining needs with a smile on her face! Maya took care of us for lunch one day and she was just as impeccable at service! Thank you to Pepe's for great service, delicious food and the best ambiance in Provincetown! Reserve a table on the upper (covered) deck overlooking the bay and harbor... It's expensive, surely you're paying for the awesome view--fortunately our food was mostly good, too. --Patron Margarita ($18), mixed well --P-town Wedge ($17), super good with lardons, tomato, house-made croutons, and blue cheese, perfectly dressed. --Bruschetta Provencal ($15), just okay, described as cherry tomatoes with garlic confit, and basil, but there wasn't any garlic confit. --N.E. Clam Chowder ($10), creamy and delicious --Colossal Shrimp ($48), indeed these grilled shrimp were huge and tasty, but arrived lukewarm. And only three to an order. The hand cut steak fries more than satisfied this french fry addict. The accompanying arugula salad was a nice side. --Chicken Milanese ($30), well prepared with a parmesan crust, not greasy. --Lobster Mac & Cheese ($38), just okay, at this price would expect more than three tiny pieces of lobster. Service was friendly and very efficient, even with a packed dining room. Note: the rude hostess referenced in a few reviews needs an attitude adjustment. She almost ruined our time after a mix-up with our reservation. We almost left, but fortunately, the manager rectified the problem. Hope she's not related to management!

What a disappointment ,I ordered an appetitizer called cheesy noodles. And what I got looked like an order of kraft, macaroni and cheese ! The woman next to me, said, I didn't see mac and cheese on the menu, and I said, I didn't either

Our family had a great dinner at Pepe's Wharf during our trip to Provincetown. We were seated on the deck with a gorgeous view overlooking the water, which really set the tone for a perfect evening. The ambiance was coastal, relaxing, and beautiful -- one of those spots that makes you want to linger a little longer. We started with raw clams and oysters which were very fresh and tasty. I had the lobster bisque, which was rich and flavorful, while my wife enjoyed the clam chowder, which she said was fantastic. For entrées, I had the lemon marinated swordfish special, which was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Other standouts at our table included the seared tuna, Portuguese cataplana, chicken Milanese, and roasted cod -- and not a bite was left behind. Everyone loved their meals. We finished with coffee and two desserts to share: the bread pudding with ice cream and the coconut cake. Both were delicious. The service was excellent -- attentive and friendly throughout, even though I sadly didn't catch our waitress's name. We couldn't have asked for a better dining experience. Highly recommend Pepe's Wharf for anyone visiting Provincetown -- great food, incredible views, and a memorable night out.

Very disappointed with the hospitality. The restaurant was nearly empty, yet I wasn't allowed to sit at a two-top by a plug to charge my phone while having dinner. I was leading a large group in town and had recommended Pepe's, but after this unfriendly experience, I won't be returning or recommending for future groups. Not accommodating staff but food looks great, sadly wasn't able to try!

Beautiful setting on the upper deck on the water. Gorgeous views! My server was very friendly and really explained his recommendations and answered questions my family had. I ordered the lobster ravioli which was to die for. The sauce was amazing. The truffle on top was such a nice touch. My son ordered a flatbread and everyone wanted it because it looked so good. My husband had the lobster bisque (yum!) and the steak. My daughter had the miso salmon and she left nothing on her dish.

Every time we visit Provincetown we make a point of lunch at Pepe's. The upper deck has a great view and the food is delicious! If we're lucky we get our favorite server Michelle, always very helpful and smiling! Highly recommended!

Food was outstanding. Great view of the water from our seats. Felt a little rushed by the waiter as he was trying to turn the table over and it was a little too obvious. Price was very reasonable.

I visited for dinner and sat outside on the deck. First, the hostesses were very friendly and even offered to give me a more comfortable chair. Our waitress, Sasha, was so professional and friendly. We ordered the oysters, burrata, salmon, and the onion flatbread. The sauce on the salmon was so good, and it was very fresh. The oysters were amazing as well. This restaurant has a great atmosphere right on the water with parking outside. I do recommend wearing bug spray if you're dining outside, as there were some bugs, but nothing too crazy.

I got the steamed lobster and it was the perfect portion and absolutely delicious. It wasn't overcooked at all. I had Alfredo as my server and he was absolutely lovely! The restaurant has such a good vibe. I brought my dog and they immediately brought him water and treated him as a guest. They even closed the porch so that it wasn't too windy. everyone seemed genuinely so happy. 10/10!

Best seafood we've had in PTown in a long time. Wait staff was super friendly and aimed to please. Love the 2025 redesign!

We were a party of 8 (4 adults, 4 children) with a 5 PM reservation -- made early on purpose to be respectful of the restaurant and other diners since we were bringing young children. From the moment we walked in, it was clear families -- especially ones with kids -- are not welcome here. Before we could even order drinks, a staff member told us our two-year-old needed to be seated immediately -- despite the fact that we were still getting settled and no high chairs or booster seats were available. Then, when I placed my toddler's sippy cup on the table (since no one had offered her water), another staff member actually told my friend that her one-year-old's baby bottle couldn't be visible on the table. Let's be very clear: asking a mother to hide her baby's bottle is not just absurd -- it's illegal. Under federal and state laws, this kind of behavior can be considered discrimination against a caregiver and potentially violates breastfeeding and bottle-feeding rights. This restaurant clearly prioritizes image over inclusivity, and hospitality is nowhere to be found. If you have children, do yourself a favor and take your business somewhere that understands the meaning of respect, legality, and basic human decency.

Love love love, Boston Bib salad, lobster taviol was to die for! Ricardo was a phenomenal bartender. Could not ask for anything better. Bathrooms were so clean and had every amenity. Loved everything about this restaurant. Absolutely the favorite of all of Ptown. We know what to order, and it was perfection. Calamari and Barada were ordered for appetizers. The calamari was so fresh and so well cooked it was phenomenal. I give my highest recommendations to this restaurant.

Came in here for lunch and tried the blackened fish sandwich and the crispy chicken sandwich. Both were delicious although the blackened fish sandwich was very spicy. Sandwiches came with a large side of coleslaw that was on the sweeter side. Would be nice if the sandwiches came with fries but we got a side order to split and it was enough for 2 people. The restaurant itself is beautiful and right in the water. The staff was very nice and welcoming as well. Would definitely come back next time we're in Provincetown!

Pepe's is not new to us but we just discovered the upstairs bar! If you can snag bar seats it has an incredible views, had a great bar staff, and serves the usual delicious food they have downstairs. Very convivial crowd too.

Michelle gave us great service! Highly recommend this place, especially sitting outside by the water. Got the lychee martini 10/10 Blackened fish sandwich was my favorite thing. Calamari and creamy mussels were also amazing.

Food and service were absolutely fantastic. Ricardo, our server, was super helpful and attentive. Our dog had a great time here as well and was treated with much love. The lobster was some of the best we've ever had, and even though our dishes took a while, Ricardo and his colleagues came to check on us often. Very happy with Pepe's wharf and would love to come back!

We went here on a very hot day and the food was very good. I started to feel sick after eating the fish and chips. My best friend and I went to use the restroom and she noticed our waiter walked out without washing their hands. This is when things started to feel off, the service was pretty quick since there weren't many people there, the setting of the restaurant was very pretty with indoor and outdoor options. On the drive back to our house I started to feel nauseous and by the time we got home I was very sick and was throwing up a lot. I'm not positive if the cause of my sickness was because of the cleanliness or not.

It was a cute restaurant by the water. We went for dinner and made the mistake of sitting outside (early June), and it was very windy and cold they didn't have a blanket and couldn't accommodate our table inside, which was a boomer, but we still enjoyed our food. I had the clams chowder, and it was delicious. I also tried the cod, and it was good, too; it was a little salty but good. Service was ok, and the ambiance was lovely but ruined by the wind (not the restaurant's fault). I am unsure if I would like to return, but I recommend you try it and find out yourself!

Went here during vacation with my family to Provincetown. We were wandering around looking for a later dinner without a wait, that was dog-friendly. Pepe's was a bit on the higher end of our budget, but worth it to skip the line at other seafood places. Not only did it have options for those in our party who weren't big on seafood, but for those of us who are lobster lovers we were blown away by the quality. I grew up in Massachusetts, I live by the beach in California, and 90% of the time fish is the only meat I eat. SO, my standards are sky high. Reader, believe me when I say, this is the best lobster I have ever had IN MY LIFE. I'm usually a butter fiend but it didn't even need it. So fresh, so flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I will be dreaming of this lobster for years to come and will absolutely be back the next time I'm visiting family near the Cape! We opted for the seafood boil, and in retrospect it was a bit of an upcharge for just a little bit more food. Overall, service was amazing, food was excellent, and the price was only a little on the high side for the experience. Next time I'll just get the lobster. We also went after dark and couldn't enjoy the view, and with the dogs we did have to deal with mosquitos, but again, worth it!

A hot ticket in town, probably due to the great water views and delicious food. The experience does feel a bit rushed with things coming out really quick though. So keep ordering piecemeal if you want to set your own pace. Oysters Rockefeller: While I love fresh raw oysters, I'm always a bit interested in the ones that are cooked with tons of interesting ingredients. I can totally see how this is worthy of a Rockefeller with all the rich creamy spinach on top of the fresh oyster. So much deliciousness. Fried Calamari: Pretty standard. Crispy and not rubbery. Perfect for if you're craving this. Though the portion may be a bit smaller than you're used to. Lobster Ravioli w/ Colossal Shrimp: I'm normally against lobster ravioli since the lobster is often skimpy. However, it was highly recommended so had to give it try. It was totally worth it! Nice chunks of lobster in each oversized ravioli. And a very creamy and very lobster-y sauce. Plus I got upsold the colossal shrimp add on, which was also a great recommendation since it was huge and lobster-like, especially when run through the sauce. Fraperol: So refreshing. Feels so fun drinking when it's still light out. The add-on of a champagne topper gave it a nice fizz too. Mudslide: Perfect for when you're finishing your meal and the table isn't leaning towards dessert. This way you can get more alcohol and a milk shake at the same time!

We had a reservation for 16, with a last minute request to accommodate a wheelchair. The staff was very accommodating. The servers were engaging, patient, and fun! Thank you Maja! The food was delicious! And can't say enough about the views.

What a lucky find! We noticed some negative service reviews prior on yelp but can confidently say we experienced the opposite! Our hostess was very friendly and accommodating. Our server, Paul, was nothing but kind, efficient, and welcoming! The food was excellent! Pesto pasta was a perfect portion very flavorful, clam chowder was exquisite, and the blacked halibut was seasoned perfectly! We will be back, highly recommend!

Food was very good, but cod had to be sent back because it was totally undercooked. This caused my pasta to get cold. Waiter was nice but this place is a bit relentless on the up-sell. Server: "Your pasta comes with five small shrimp, would you like to upgrade to colossal shrimp for an extra charge?" My Answer: "No thanks, I'll stick with the $38 pasta dish with five small shrimp!" This up-sell happened with the oysters as well. If it wasn't for the good food and amazing views, there would be plenty to complain about, but seriously, they need to cook the food through. It's a fish restaurant. You can't mess up the fish and send it out raw. We'll always go back. It's part of the Provincetown experience, and a must to try.

Pepe's is a hidden gem in Ptown, so if you haven't yet checked it out, you definitely should!! I've now been a few times, and each time was outstanding. Continue reading below for a few highlights from my visits. LUNCH: On my one lunch visit, my dining party sat outside. And, I recommend snagging an outdoor table if you can because the view and the breeze coming in from Cape Cod Bay helps set the stage for a perfect and magical mid-day dining experience! As for lunch food selections, you can't really go wrong with anything Pepe's serves. I recommend the Chicken Sandwich, Lobster Roll, Wedge Salad, Shrimp Cocktail, and French Fries (random, I know... but they are really tasty). DINNER: Skip the flatbreads/pizza (even the Truffle one you've likely seen in Yelp reviews) and head right to the seafood. You really can't go wrong with any of the choices here. On my last visit to Pepe's for dinner, I ordered one of the seafood pastas, and it as amazing. And I had major food envy when I saw the Portuguese Cataplana delivered to the table next to me (this is mixed seafood stew); I'll definitely be ordering that next time! DESSERT: OMG. That coconut cake! TRUST! And, honestly, that is all I need to say. Just do it! As for the service at Pepe's, it is always spot on. But, be warned: It is tough to get them to check their email to make a reservation. I recommend calling until you get someone to answer. Or, better yet, walking up to the establishment when you first arrive in Provincetown and making a reservation for later in the week. Bottom Line: Don't skip out on Pepe's! Make it happen on your next Ptown adventure!

Had a great lunch here. First time at this restaurant. Upstairs had a nice water view. Also a bar upstairs with views. We had Maja as a server. She was great - even better than the food. She is the reason we will come back!

Great view, and very attentive staff. I left a shirt and glasses, and they shipped them back to me. Very kind folks. We'll be back!

ATMOSPHERE: Wonderful view of the water, light and clean outdoor seating. When the wind picked up, the staff zipped up one side so we could still enjoy the view without being blown around. SERVICE: Kristina H took wonderful care of us. She has a friendly disposition and handled our requests perfectly. BAR: My cosmo was excellent, $17. House Chard, $15, a generous pour. FOOD: The Crispy Fishwich was good, it is fried and a little messy to eat. Fish and chips were cooked well, plenty to share. It could have used a little more flavor. Fries were very good. Parking can be challenging to find. We parked in the $20 per day lot, which is only a couple minute's walk to Pepe's. They don't accept AMEX. Menus are accessible via barcode scan.

Visited 6/23 hostess was so nice from we stepped in , we got a nice table ambiance was phenomenal! Our server Juliet was amazing she's a real professional and so patient with us gave us enough time to make up our mind on what we wanted to order for main course while we gave her our appetizer order The food was Amazing I had the steamed lobster my husband had the linguini with salmon.The lobster bisque and calamari is so good and the bread pudding with ice cream dessert was the great! Chef Frans is a remarkable chef definitely an asset to this restaurant his food and menu definitely will make us go back and recommend more of our friends! can't wait to return!

The loveliest staff and great vibes from the decor. It really felt like you were transported to a different place. The food was great. Tried the crab cake, which was my favorite dish of the night. Packed with a generous portion of crab and less breading. It paired perfectly with the dipping sauce and the salad. I also tried the cod pilaf. Cod was perfectly cooked with fried onion on top. The marinara sauce was not my favorite though. Don't know what exactly about it I didn't like; probably too strong in tomato paste but I had to pick around it.

We had meals and drinks right on the water! The crispy fishwich sandwich, side of fries for the table, crabcake appetizer, blackened fish sandwich, and arugula salad were all awesome!

Major disrespect from the man at your front booth. Heard my husband and I ask for a menu. Even to the point of picking up the menu. To then talk to someone on the intercom then actually ask us what we wanted. We asked for a menu then to just point and go oh it's over there on the bored. Along with the look. My husband did not even want to give it a chance. Definitely think someone needs some training in humility and basic customer service.

All I can say is AMAZING!!! Great staff, great views, great food!! I had the lobster ravioli and it was the best I have ever had!! I will definitely be back and I highly recommend!!!

We love Pepe's and today's meal just reminded us why. The service and setting over the bay are sublime. Alfredo was our waiter and he was so friendly and attentive; he really made our meal, even guiding us through drinks and gluten free options. Always get the wedge. It's a classic and this one is a winner. Favorites include the blackened fish sandwich at lunch and for dinner, always, the fish of the day. The chocolate mouse is to die for. The food here was delicious and our server Matheus was super nice! Looking forward to coming back here again.

The wedge salad with blue cheese and added lobster is epic. We enjoyed the gazpacho and spicy margaritas too. A great view of the beach from our table made it perfect, as did our attentive server. We have been to Pepe's many times and will return, as it doesn't disappoint!

Stopped in for a light lunch with the kids (ok, adults but still kids to me), had Adrien as our server. So nice and friendly, offered drinks, appetizers dessert, what ever we wanted. I got the arugula salad with a lemon vinagrette, so good. It's not a huge portion so add a protein for a more substantial meal. The kids got a burger and fries and a blt. Both with fries and coleslaw. I tried the fries and they were delicious. We had drinks at the bar the day before and the bartender was wonderful, sadly I didn't get her name. Definitely give Pepe's a try!!

Food, ambiance, & ambiance were all 10/10. It was so cute we sat on the water. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks, and our waitress Michelle was so sweet and helpful. If you go to Provincetown, 100% come to pepes

Pepe's is fancy, but don't get it twisted. That's not the same as being good. It starts out promising: a walk through an alley down a garden path that opens onto a whitewashed deck where you can watch the sunset over the harbor breakwater. Solicitous waitstaff and white napkins. But ... the food. Gazpacho that was made with tomato juice or canned tomato sauce or something that gave it the consistency of water, not a tomato puree. A steak frites dish that my husband characterized as "a hunk of meat." A summer garden salad with shrimp that turned out to be the type of salad you get on a Delta flight: mixed greens, shredded carrots, cold cherry tomatoes. Two giant flatbread appetizers that neither my sister or I finished because we lost interest. Overly sweet cocktails (even frozen ones) that flopped. Someone once called Newt Gingrich a dumb person's idea of a smart person, and I think Pepe's is fine dining for people who don't know what fine dining should be. I get the sense that a decade or two ago, this passed for the grande dame of the PTown scene. But fine dining is here, right now, in this town, elsewhere.

Best dinner in the cape yet! Would definitely recommend the blackened fish sandwich and muscles. Many good drink options as well. Michelle our waitress was also so nice and super knowledgable about the menu!

Reservations are a must! Gorgeous waterfront view!!! Lobster bisque is ok(zero pieces of lobster, which is a miss.) Lobster dishes are not as far and wide as I would expect. I had the halibut and it was amazing! Service was ok.
