Google
We arrived at Pepi Sport store around 7:20 pm. According to Google and their posted hours, the store closes at 8:00 pm. However, at 7:30 pm — only ten minutes after we arrived — a woman upstairs already started telling us they were about to close and suggested we leave and “come back tomorrow.”
While we were still looking at a coat, she abruptly said “okay bye, have a nice day,” even though we had not finished shopping. Then, at 7:40 pm, she actually turned off the lights while we were still inside the store. This was extremely rude and unprofessional. When we questioned her, she said she needed to leave — as if her personal schedule mattered more than the store’s official hours.
Downstairs, we asked another employee to confirm the closing time because it was obvious we were being pushed out. He then claimed the store closes at 7:50 pm, which makes absolutely no sense since Google clearly states the store closes at 8:00 pm.
Regardless of whether it’s 7:50 or 8:00, starting to rush customers out at 7:30 and turning off the lights is completely unacceptable. Closing time should mean the time the doors are locked, not when staff decides to stop serving customers. This experience was disrespectful, uncomfortable, and left a very bad impression. I would not recommend shopping here.
