Great service from (I hope I get the names right), Rob and Rick!! Helped me find the perfect shoe and, besides with me, with others as well, I witnessed them being honest about the pros and cons of each item. Treat people well and they'll come back. I'll be back!

Outstanding Customer Service! What a TEAM of professionals. Rather than sell something not really “just right” ; offered guidance! From the manager who I met casually; to the boot fitters-Jordan & Alex…what an outstanding experience!!!

We arrived at Pepi Sport store around 7:20 pm. According to Google and their posted hours, the store closes at 8:00 pm. However, at 7:30 pm — only ten minutes after we arrived — a woman upstairs already started telling us they were about to close and suggested we leave and “come back tomorrow.” While we were still looking at a coat, she abruptly said “okay bye, have a nice day,” even though we had not finished shopping. Then, at 7:40 pm, she actually turned off the lights while we were still inside the store. This was extremely rude and unprofessional. When we questioned her, she said she needed to leave — as if her personal schedule mattered more than the store’s official hours. Downstairs, we asked another employee to confirm the closing time because it was obvious we were being pushed out. He then claimed the store closes at 7:50 pm, which makes absolutely no sense since Google clearly states the store closes at 8:00 pm. Regardless of whether it’s 7:50 or 8:00, starting to rush customers out at 7:30 and turning off the lights is completely unacceptable. Closing time should mean the time the doors are locked, not when staff decides to stop serving customers. This experience was disrespectful, uncomfortable, and left a very bad impression. I would not recommend shopping here.

My chick lost her heel insert and they were super helpful here. They took the bottom of the boot out and glued it down so that it would never fall out again and only charged her $10 total for 2 inserts and labor. She said the guy was super helpful and cool as well, couldn’t recommend enough!

Pepi’s Sports has been my go to place for everything ski related. From my helmet to my skis they have always provided me professional and knowledge expertise. Shaun and Rob recently placed my bindings and waxed my skis in July. They were very accommodating. I can’t recommended them enough!

Have a rack of nice skis advertised for $400 outside, but they are really 700? And the guy inside just laughs at us? I would buy from anywhere else how annoying dude good luck

Rented skis from this establishment. The older bald "manager" was rude, dismissive, and inappropriate. Did not listen to a single thing me or my party said regarding our ski preferences. When questioned about the comfort and size of skis/boosts his response was "I have been doing this for a very long time, I know what is best for you". He ended up putting me and my party of all different ski levels in beginner skis. Prices were extremely high. I ended up returning my skis and renting from another shop who listened to my preferences and took they time to properly fit me and give me the appropriate gear. All the other staff was kind and respectful, but the "manager" made for a terrible experience.

I bought ski boots and skis at Pepi Sports and had a great experience. The boot fitters are professional and make sure the boots fit well or they won't sell them to you. I tried on numerous ski boots and posed a lot of questions. After receiving expert advise, I was able to make the best choice. I also got custom foot beds which were measured and well-made on site. This is not my first pair of ski boots and I have always bought them in shops at the mountain base because of the expertise found in these shops, but I must say this place is tops. Great selection of ski boots and skis, and I was able to demo multiple skis before deciding which ones to buy.

Pepi Sports is where Old Vail meets new. Complete with tailored items, this is a great place to spend a half hour. Staff members can come of as a bit distant, but once you know the drill, you're good. You just have to engage with them a bit.

Pepi Sports is located in the heart of Vail Village and I had a great rental experience at Pepi Sports. I felt like we were borrowing bikes from a friend. The staff here was very friendly and helpful. They were able to choose the best bikes for us and provided helmets and bike bags at no extra charge. The hourly rates were awesome (slightly cheaper than others in the village) and there was not an up charge for returning the bikes minutes late than the rounded hours rented. The store offers cool ski products, footwear and other items to keep you set for your activities.

Terrible customer service. Have been waiting for 30 min to try ski boots (there was only one person in front of us). Person who was fitting boots told us it might be even longer because he has to help his co worker! Unfortunately did not check other reviews before coming to this store. NOT RECOMMENDING!!!

$40 tune and not only did they not put all the screws back in, both bindings were loose. Definitely would go elsewhere for a snowboard tuneup next time.

the staff could not be ruder or more insulting (Dan in particular) My daughter and I were uncomfortable with going inside (during a pandemic) to pay and asked the unmasked Dan to have someone run our credit card. He shared that tourists should just stay at home as his not wearing a mask was because its a free county. When I called the manager Sean this morning, although he apologized he went on to say how challenging it was for them and challenged me as to if Dan was truly wearing a mask (he had a bandana around his neck, not over his mouth or nose) It was a very uncomfortable and unpleasant experience, I am sure the other choices in town are better.

We were vacationing in the area from Michigan and looking for some summer close out deals on some ski equipment. Sean and his boot fitter Alex spent several hours with us to ensure that we walked out with the perfect boot. It was not about making a sale, but their foremost interest was making sure that the boots fit correctly. One we found the perfect boot, they were able to match a lower price we saw on line without hesitation. Overall extremely impressed and can't recommend Pepi's enough for competitively priced merchandise and an extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Thank you Sean and Alex.

Extremely disappointed in staff at Pepi's. I came in to purchase boot heaters for my ski boots and purchased a pair of hotronic boot heaters and paid for installation. Upon pickup, they told me I was good to go. Anyways, 2 runs later the heaters fell off. They didn't sell me the part to keep the heaters on my boots. Who would think you'd have to question people who do this everyday? After I lost the heater, I immediately went back to the shop to tell them that there must have been an error and they didn't install properly. Their answer was "oh yea, you didn't buy the part to keep them in place" and "yes this happens all the time- 3x myself". Only answer is that they don't install properly because they want their customers to loose them and come back and buy a replacement. I cannot believe any shop could have such poor intentions. Have been in the valley forever and will never give them another penny.

I love this store! I have Been going for years. It is pricey but it is Vail. They do have great end of season sales. The staff is some of the best I have seen. These women are so helpful and accommodating. So glad they are still around.

I have been shopping at this store for years. I think the staff is terrific and very helpful. The clothing and jewelry are gorgeous and everything I have ever purchased here I have enjoyed. I don't agree with the naysayers reviews. Check out this store. It is awesome.

Rented demo skis for 3 days- horrible condition not tuned whatsoever but didn't exchange because didn't want to waste time on my vacation. When I returned employee accused me of wrecking skis and skiing in the road. DO NOT RENT ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE.

I had a wonderful experience at Pepi's. Tanju helped me try on a few pairs of boots. He was extremely kind and very knowledgeable. He explained about the different boot manufacturers and what boots would be good options. Tanju, I appreciate your good vibes! Overall the store is very clean and the selection is excellent!! Highly recommended, 5 stars

Negative stars. Do not shop here. The Spanish-speaking saleswomen insult and demean customers, in Spanish, on a regular basis (apparently assuming that their customers are too stupid to understand when they speak in Spanish). I've listened to them do this to me twice. The second time I called one woman out on it and involved her manager. No apology, nothing. Apparently they feel they don't need customers at all. So I'm not setting foot in the place again. Dear owner, are you not reading your reviews on Yelp? Serious mismanagement.

Negative stars. Indifferent staff, rude. After inquiring about bikes we were directed to go up stairs by a kid too enveloped in a UFC match on TV. Couldnt be bothered. Lady upstairs was too busy literally talking about herself to someone else to help us. When we finally interrupted her to inquire about bikes she sent us back down stairs. Not before glaring at us for interrupting her. Why bother being open at all?

These guys were so helpful to me today. A skier ended up taking my new ski's by accident and leaving their rentals behind. They called the skier and thankfully they had my skis so I got them back in quick order. As I was waiting for all this to transpire I did have a chance to see how the staff worked with customers and I have to tell you they were very upbeat, pleasant and efficient with checking gear in and out. If I was from out of town renting ski's etc. I would absolutely use Pepi's Sports.

We have a second home in Colorado and for years have visited and purchased clothing from this store. This week I walked in to look at some Bogner vests and was quickly approached by a sales lady who said, "This is our new line of Bogner vests but perhaps you would prefer looking at some of our clothing on the half off rack." I was speechless. She assumed that I couldn't afford a $500.00 vest. I have no idea why. I was dressed like half the women in Vail with hiking shorts, boots and a nice Columbia jacket. Decided to walk out and purchase the vest on line. Terrible customer service. Needless to say, won't be back.

Omg ! I saw this beautiful outfit from Pepis sports upstairs boutique while they were having a photo session! So I went and check it out, and I have to say the clothing is spectacular!!!!i totally recommend it!

We rented mountain bikes here, the prices were good and Tivoli guests get an extra 25% off! The hours are flexible and the equipment is in great condition.

I have been in this store many times over the years and I continue to be underwhelmed by the inattentive sales staff. Perhaps they should be taught what the word "retail" actually means. While they are at it, someone may want to explain to them what is involved when providing "customer service". There are so many other stores in Vail that I will continue to support. I will not waste my time in this store again.

A bit more expensive than other shops and the guys just were not vey friendly. It's saving grace is it s location in Vail village, but Lions Head, is a short and beautiful walk or free shuttle away with much better deals and people.

I tried to place an order online, but Pepi Sports' system didn't like my credit card. To cut a long story short, Vicki and the team didn't give up on me and managed to sort it out. I'm looking forward to sporting my new jacket this season! :)

Great shopping. Especially upstairs for women. Everything from ski wear and snow boots to fun furry hats and cashmere sweaters. Oh and leggings that actually keep you warm. Definitely my favorite place to shop in Vail

For the last five Christmas vacations, we have rented, demo'd, and purchased skis from Pepi Sports. Tanju and his team have taken excellent care of our family, always making sure our skis and boots fit us perfectly, and eagerly traded us out when we wanted to compare. They are professionals, who remember you year to year. It feels like family. I cannot imagine using anyone else for our skiing needs. Thank you for making our vacations seemless.

AWFUL. I am not an easily offended person, but the way I was treated during my visit was enough to make me write a review (which I have never done before)....the 2 people that "helped" me, were condescending to say the least. It was also made clear that I was wasting their time. Christy's is right around the corner, and they treated me with respect. They will always get my business moving forward.

I will never go back to Pepi's. The customer service was awful and when there was a miscommunication, we were talked down to like we didn't know anything and it was our fault. We were overcharged and the help was outright rude. I would have expected more from a store with Pepi's name on it and they have forever lost a customer who buys skis annually.

We rented bikes. They were one of the least expensive plus our girls only made it down once so we only had to pay for one hour for them. The boys did a half day. They were super nice and helpful.

If you are looking for a ski shop where they remember you likes, dislikes & your name then this is the place for you! Tanju is a fabulous Bootfitter who will take the time to make sure your boots fit like a glove!

The best part of our summer trip to Vail was the bikes we rented! Everyone at Pepi was super helpful to our family. Very, very reasonable. We rented 4 bikes and a toddler carrier for 2 days, a 3rd day discount is also offered, but we didn't have the time. The best way to explore Vail in the summer time is by bike with the kids. Highly recommend this group of people to rent from.

Most expensive rental, not so friendly staff. I paid nearly $60 to rent their cheapest snowboard for a day. Needless to say... Never again.
