Pepper & Salt Restaurant

Just wow!🤩 We came on a recommendation and everything was just DELICIOUS. From the house bubbles to the tuna/duck. It was one of the best meals we’ve had in ages. Our waitress was a gem and our table had the prettiest outlook, felt we’d great seats. A lot of people there celebrating big Birthdays, seemed like the perfect place for a treat on a special day. Can’t recommend enough!!!

All I can say wow. We came in February 2025 for our anniversary. I raved so much about the restaurant my friends gave me a gift voucher for my birthday. I had the calamari and my husband had the duck. I like the menu they do for children, my granddaughter had delicious curry from the kids menu. Wow what a dessert ,I thought I had gone to heaven and back , I will never forget this experience. Thank you to the chef and the staff . Next time I visit Denmark I will definitely come there

This restaurant which is attached to Forest Hill Wines is nothing short of outstanding. A small but well thought out menu and executed extremely well. The Chargrilled Octopus was great as was the Lamb Backstrap as entrees. We both chose the Beef Eye Fillet. For desert we chose the Panacotta and Chocolate Namelaka. It was amazing food and the service was excellent. The views from the restaurant was great and added to the atmosphere. Very highly recommended.

Premier location. Came highly recommended by Great Southern Seafood Albany and others locals. Owner is Mauritian and menu is diverse blend of unique flavours. It didnt disappoint and the entree, main and desserts were all a 10/10.

The ambience and food were lovely. We went there for lunch and the entree was yum. The chef came around and spoke with guests, which was nice. The blonde lady who served us was very sweet. Overall it was a 10 out of 10 experience

A space that soothes the soul! Breathtaking views at the large window overlooking the valleys and looking straight across to the karri’s. The food was more than fuel - it was art - leaving a lingering impression on all 5 senses. Our time at Pepper & Salt gave us the gift of space on our wedding anniversary that allowed us to leave the world behind us at the car park and enter another world where nothing existed but the two of us - hosted by the incredibly attentive and exceptional service.

Gorgeous atmosphere with incredible service and food! We absolutely loved our “Trust the Chef” lunch while soaking up those stunning views.

We had no expectations of finding a table because everything was booked, but we went to a wine tasting at the vineyard anyway. It is connected to the restaurant and we were lucky to find a table available. The menu was interesting. I don't know if it's like that, but I got a hint of Indian cuisine.I don't know how often they change the menu, but two courses were 80 and three courses were $90. Thanks to the waiters and waitresses

I love this restaurant. We've wanted to come during previous visits to Denmark but have always left it too late to make a booking. I was excited to finally try it. My main was fine. It looked pretty and tasted fine. The stand out for me, was both desserts. We had a pepper Pannacotta which was amazing. I can't describe the interesting flavours on the plate enough to give it justice. I loved the toffee with pepper and salt, it was super creative. The rhubarb was amazing too, I could've eaten a whole bowl of it! The chocolate tart was rich and intense but delicious too. If you can't finish a whole bottle or you need to drive you can take the rest of the bottle home with you. I would absolutely recommend visiting Pepper and Salt and if you have time, try the Forrest Hill winery downstairs, it's beautiful and has great wines.

Oh my god- this is literally the best restaurant I have ever been to! We had a set menu which was only $70 for three courses which I thought was extremely reasonable, especially once I ate the food! For entree we had the marron and the salmon samosas. Both were absolutely delicious. Then for main I had the Barramundi and my partner had the steak. As I was eating my meal I just couldnt stop saying wow...this is amazing, each bite was heaven and all the veges with it were delicious. My partner said it was the best steak he'd ever had. Then for dessert my partner had the tiramisu and i had the spiced pannacotta. I had thought the main was good, but the dessert was just as good. Again, ever single bite was sooooo amazing. I was blown away. Paired with a delicious bottle of red, it was a meal to remember and I have been raving about it ever since. Highly recommend going here if you are in Denmark! I will definitely be coming back!
