Peppercrab

I was recommended this as a hidden gem seafood restaurant in Dubai by a reliable friend. He recommended the mud crab with black pepper sauce, which I ordered. First of all the pricing is unclear and complicated. You’re expected to know the weight and whether or not it’s going to be enough per person. And considering it’s weighed with shell you have no idea of knowing how many KG’s you’ll be needing! And unfortunately the waiter tried to upsell us on something that is already incredibly expensive!! Now let’s talk about the food. The crab itself was very rich and way too much sauce! (Soy sauce) it was drowned and didn’t allow you to enjoy the flavour or texture of the crab! There was also way too many pieces of broken shell in the crab meat and I had to keep picking it out of my mouth! The Singapore noodles were also drowned in soy sauce which I had to send back. If it wasn’t for the hot and sour soup which was amazing I would have given them 1 star! The manager was good though and he provided great customer service. I might return for a few beers (asahi draught) and the seafood soup but I don’t think I’ll get the crab again if they keep drowning it in that rich sweet sauce. 👎🏻

Ordered a bunch of things along with the signature crab. Everything except the crab was really below average for how premiumly priced the menu is. We returned our crab fried rice for being very underseasoned. Won't recommend the wasabi prawns or the musssels either. Quiet disappointed!

You get what you expect and paid for. Service is nice as it’s someone waiting on you whether to refill beverage or serve food as it comes to table. Food was good. The ambiance was soft and pleasing from seating arrangements to decor. We enjoyed the food and if unsure the staff will explain it.

Food is excellent here, best pepper Chicken in dubai so far. Overall everything we ordered was full of taste and the quantity is good too. No food pics cause we were too busy enjoying it😊

Had dinner yesterday. Went with the hope of having some good crab , unfortunately everything is sweet including the pepper Crab we ordered and rightfully expensive. 3900 Dhirams for i crab and a friend rice

Service very slow, even though there are only a few table, we need to call them everytime if we need to order something. Nasi goreng very salty, chicken satay are very dry, we do not like the peanuts saus too.
