We stayed for 5 days at Peppers recently and loved it! Everyone we dealt with was very friendly and accomodating for any request we had. Daniel was our first point of contact there and he was so lovely to deal with. We were given some vouchers by him to help celebrate a special occasion which we were very appreciative of. The grounds themselves are absolutely beautiful and the pool is unbeatable. We met so many people who return each year and I can see why. Highly recommend!

We visited Cairns to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary and, based on recommendations that Palm Cove would offer a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, we decided to move from a hotel in the city to one here. Sadly, our expectations were not met. The hotel felt busy and noisy throughout the day. The central pool was filled with children and even some adults throwing balls around, making it difficult to simply sit by the loungers and enjoy a peaceful conversation. Many guests also left their belongings on the beach chairs for hours without using them, leaving little space for others. What made the stay even more frustrating was the lack of basic service. Our only request—a travel adapter—was dismissed with a blunt “We don’t have any,” delivered without the slightest concern. To add to that, the Wi-Fi did not work, and the hotel offered no compensation of any kind. We still have one more night here, and while we truly love Australia—this being our second visit—our experience in Palm Cove has been quite disappointing. However, the staff were all very kind and attentive. The gentleman at the concierge desk kindly called the restaurant on our behalf to inquire about a reservation and offered us helpful information with great courtesy. The two ladies at the reception desk also assisted us in arranging an early check-in, and as soon as our room was ready, they personally came to the pool to let us know. (It’s not just the Wi-Fi, when the manager’s like this, no wonder the service is too.)

We absolutely loved our stay! The cleanliness was outstanding, and the service from reception through to the room and breakfast was excellent. The breakfast was absolutely divine – especially the fresh smoothies. Our room with the spa made our days so relaxing, and the beautiful design and spaciousness added to the experience. The room service was 10/10 – every time we returned, the room was spotless and we truly felt like we were in heaven. The staff were warm and welcoming, always happy to assist. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we slept so well. The spa in our room was the perfect way to unwind after exploring. The hotel had such a calm, modern atmosphere, and the location was ideal. We would definitely recommend it to others.

Palm Cove itself is beautiful and we felt so lucky to have randomly chosen to stay here instead of Port Douglas. The beach is soft sand and swaying palms but you can only swim in the warm sea in the small netted area to avoid the jellyfish, in common with all hols in Queensland.|Peppers is dead central on the seafront strip of restaurants and resorts in this upscale quiet little town. Staff were friendly and curiously half of them seemed to come from South Wales! |There's free parking beneath your building with around 6 buildings clustered around three pools. It's all naturally ventilated with sea breezes and a colonial white shuttered elegance.|We booked a one bedroom ocean view suite which was enormous with a big balcony having excellent sea views. It had a full equipped kitchen, dining table, large sofa and new TV and aircon units and ceiling fans in two rooms. The place reminded us of the old Miami Beach art deco hotels with a kind of shabby chic which is odd as Peppers is only 20 years old. The doors, tiling, furniture and taps were dated with some stains on seats. I'd say if the place had a good deep clean and new upholstery it would be perfect. Having said that this town gets battered by tropical storms each year so perfect may be an impossible aim. For any Europeans visiting I would warn you to check seasons as our winter/ their summer can be flooded and cyclonic and hot rain is no fun for anyone |Breakfast was a nice buffet spread only £15/$30 aus each and you cannot beat sipping coffee with a warm sea breeze |They have a really odd pool towel policy of two old stained thin towels per room with a warning they'll fine you if you steal them. Why would you?! Similarly the hangers are attached so you have to wrestle clothes off. Drying our towels was a daily irritation instead of dumping them in poolside towel bins like literally everywhere else does! |And again a warning for us pale Europeans there's only a handful of poolside umbrellas but ultra high UV warnings so bagging a suitable lounger is hard , not least as they're cheap plastic that gets boiling hot in the sun and your short crummy towel won't cover it .|In short this place has potential so hopefully a few upgrades by Accor will fix it. As for tropical north Queensland it's a glorious paradise we'd highly recommend if you're careful to avoid the sun and myriad creatures that can kill you !

We came here for our honeymoon 16 years ago and came back this past week for my birthday but this time with three teenagers in tow. We were not disappointed. The pool was fantastic. The room was great, although the top deck where the spa is could do with some love. It was looking rather shabby so we didn't use it. The convenience of the location was fantastic and the staff were awesome when our allocated carpark was taken daily. Can't wait to come back again

We were surprised with an upgrade to a penthouse spa garden apartment. Everything was perfectly clean and fresh . Ice in the ice tray ,Nespresso coffee machine, pods supplied daily, enough milk in the fridge and wonderful towels. Exceptional daily breakfast, very friendly staff thruout. We enjoyed a wonderful stay and would love to visit again. Highly recommended.

My partner and I came for a 4 night stay and everything exceeded our expectations. The service, pool area & buffet were the highlights. The resort is perfectly located with everything walking distance. The rooms could have done with a slight refresh but honestly with the pool & beach right there- who is utilising the rooms anyway! We will 100% be back

Loved this hotels location, everything about the hotel and including the spa beautiful. Staff all polite & helpful. The couples massage in the beautiful spa was amazing. Only negative is not enough umbrella's around the pool, if you are after 8.30am forget it until after 4pm. People go off for 2 hrs for lunch leaving towels on the sun beds, this is unfair & should be monitored to be fair to everyone.

Yelp
Tour group stated here for 3 nights. Delightful locale in Palm Cove across from the beach. The resort has a large pool with sand area into water snd swim up bar. There is a second pool that is a Serenity Pool surrounded by palm tree and vegetation. The pool is a quiet location to enjoy the day. La Mesa restaurant serves food all day. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast with hot food, pastries and yogurt/fruit. We had a dinner with beef brisket or pork belly option. Both dishes were yummy. Highly recommended

Yelp
Fantastic location with super amazing accommodations close to cairns without the hustle and bustle. Seconds away from a private beach and lots of shopping and dining choices all within walking distance, and did I mention 3 pools

Yelp
Enjoyed my 60 min pregnancy massage with Anne-Marie. Felt very pampered and she made me feel very comfortable. Perhaps a more relaxed atmosphere compared to some spas in Palm Cove. Got a special price of $90 which was advertised on a sign on the pavement outside Peppers.
