THE GOOD :|(1) The breakfast buffet was top notch. A good variety of choices, and the hot options were fresh and nicely cooked. Poached and scrambled eggs are permanently in the buffet, with the option to ask the chef for fried eggs or omelettes. Ask for chillies if you like your omelette spicy. Scott & Mary were excellent brekky hosts, and their young team all did a brilliant job.|(2) The Resort offers a golf buggy shuttle to & from Hastings Street, which allows a short walk to all the dining venues. It's a simple call to the driver's mobile, and they never took more than 10 minutes to arrive. You can walk from the Resort to town, but it's not a flat route, so not ideal for the elderly or mobility challenged.|THE NOT SO GOOD :|(1) We stayed in Treetop Villa 6108. On arrival, we couldn't get the complimentary Accor WiFi to work or our own Optus box, which we brought with us as a back up. Called Benson at Reception and explained the issue, and that we'd be going out for early dinner, and hopefully he'd be able to get it fixed before the footy started. On our return, the TV was ON, and the footy channel tuned in. Excellent work, although the picture did freeze numerous times over the next couple of days, and for our entire one week stay, the audio was never in sync with the picture.|(2) Our Villa was extremely spacious, with a massive lounge area, and full kitchen. The only small negative observation I'd make is the lack of maintenance, broken fixtures, and cob webs visible around the exterior. A good spring clean would do the job.
