We loved our stay at Peppers Seaport Launceston. The apartment was almost new, very large, with a big, well stocked, kitchen and bathroom (almost too big!). A nice comfy bedroom with a wonderfully soft mattress and pillows (no substitute for a good night's sleep). A small balcony gives a great view of the Esk river(?). The hotel is central without being in the middle of the city; walking distance to Cataract Gorge and several museums. There are quite a few restaurants nearby (beware, some are very expensive), although the grocery stores are a short drive (or long walk). Will definitely be back.

This is a lovely hotel with lots of unexpected extras. A warm welcome, a surpise upgrade, chocolates in the foyer and a welcome bottle of wine made our stay here a lovely memorable one. Our suite was fully self contained beautifully positioned over the river. We loved our stay, the staff are exceptional, and we will definitely be back when next in Launceston.

Wonderful view. Stayed in corner suite looking over the marina. Some noise from down stairs - ear plugs required. Decor in room 4/5, just starting to look a bit tired. Linen clean. Sofa bed was comfortable. Main bed very good. Staff very helpful. Parking not great. No convenience store below on board walk.

This was a comfortable and clean modern room with great views of the River on the 3rd floor. The Staff were courteous and professional during our stay. The location of this Hotel is close to many attractions and a good selection of Restaurants, with easy access and close parking.

Thank you to Jade for her hospitality and family friendly service, especially for our birthdays! 🙏🏽✨ Our room had water views, a washer and dryer, kitchen, balcony, and was walking distance to the big playground (just cross the small walking bridge)! Thank you! 🌸💫

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were large and comfortable. There were a couple of restaurants close by. It's a bit of a walk to the city cenre, but not a difficult one. And after looking around we feel that Peppers is the best location all things considered.

A great location in walking distance of all the things we wanted to do. I would highly recommend charting a walking tour for breakfasts, cocktails and astounding restaurant offerings all around Launceston balanced with a walk to Cataract Gorge and along the riverside. The rooms are lovely with all the expected amenities. Manager, Steve, went above and beyond to get us tickets to an event we wanted to go to that had sold out.

This hotel is in a great location, close to the many walks along the river and into Cataract Gorge Reserve (which is a must do). The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Lots of restaurants at the seaport and the city is an easy 10-15 min walk. I didn’t have a car so didn’t need to pay for parking but there is a car park directly behind the hotel. I had a room looking at the river which was very relaxing. It was like a small apartment so fridge and cooking facilities including a microwave and coffee machine as well as a washer/ dryer which was very handy. A very well appointed and relaxing place to stay.

Yelp
They get more like a 3.5 stars but room size(with an awesome bathroom and good amenities) and free internet push this up to four stars. They have a decent location about 10 minutes walk to the city centre. They are situated on the river and are close by Cataract Gorge (DO NOT MISS CATARACT GORGE) The rooms are modern, but the set up is a little awkward (you need your card key twice: First to access the entryway that services two rooms; Second to get into your actual room)-can you imagine my poor neighbours if I had stumbled in drunk? (Oh wait, I DID stumble in drunk-hope I didn't disturb anyone!) The service is personal and very friendly and makes this feel like a small hotel. It is probably the most modern hotel in Launnie and very comfortable so I would highly recommend it if you're visiting the area.

Yelp
The rooms on this waterfront hotel are spacious and included many amenities that made our week long stay even more enjoyable. The staff was friendly, professional and extremely helpful with directions and dining suggestions. We dined at the Mud Bar Restaurant attached to the hotel for several of our meals. Given the exemplary service we received and the excellent food we were served, we could have eaten there every day. Servers Peter and Dasha, in particular made each visit a fun and memorable dining experience. We cant wait to return to Tasmania and this great hotel.
