Located on a pedestrianised street in Dubrovnik’s Old Town, Peppino’s Gelato stands out for its sleek, modern interior and clear, detailed descriptions of each flavour — a nice touch that sets it apart from the many other gelaterias in the area. It’s a take away only place, no seating provided. Prices are on the steeper side: €4 for one scoop and €7.50 for two. Portions felt a little small for the price, though the presentation and flavour selection were impressive. The range includes some creative and distinctive options such as Chia Seed Sorbet, Golden Ticket Chocolate, Lemon Pie, Carob & Fig Nostalgia, Raffaello Dream, Popcorn & Chill, and Dalmatian Cake — the latter inspired by local flavours with figs, raisins, and walnut cream. I tried the Dalmatian Cake and Popcorn & Chill flavours. The Popcorn & Chill had a pleasant caramelised crunch and a smooth, creamy base, giving it a fun texture. Both were rich and enjoyable, though the scoops could have been more generous given the price point. Service was quick, efficient, and friendly, if a little functional. Overall, Peppino’s Gelato is worth a visit for its inventive flavours and polished presentation — just be prepared to pay a little extra for the experience.

Usually when the sign outside the shop says “best ____ in Dubrovnik”, it’s usually not true. However, in the case of Peppino’s Gelato, it could not be more true. During our short trip in Dubrovnik, we ate at most of the gelato shops, and this was truly the best! Most flavours were a hit but my personal favourite was Hazelnut Heaven and Peppino’s Maxi King. I ate here 3 times in 2 days. I even tried looking if they had outlets in Vienna but unfortunately they don’t. Nevertheless, I’ll keep dreaming of their Hazelnut gelato. 🥲

Definitely is the best gelato in Dubrovnik - maybe even wider? Absolutely loved this place! The branding is super fun and really stands out. They’ve got a couple of spots dotted around the Old Town which makes it very tempting to keep stopping by… which we definitely did, several times over the week! 🍦 It is a little on the pricier side, but the flavours are so interesting and the quality is excellent, so it felt worth it. A great little treat while wandering around Dubrovnik.

This was the most expensive ice cream I’ve had in Europe this summer. While the taste and portion size were good, the price was honestly unbelievable—though high prices seem to be the norm in Dubrovnik's Old Town. I enjoyed the chocolate, the strawberry was okay, and the lemon sorbet was refreshing. The Mozart flavor (chocolate, pistachio, almond) was a bit underwhelming in taste. Still, it was a cool and refreshing stop on a hot, sunny Dubrovnik day.

You can only taste one flavor. There were two of us, so each of us took a flavor to taste and shared a spoon with the other. For the first flavor, the saleswoman gave a spoon with an acceptable amount to taste. After she saw that we were sharing, she gave a tiny amount for the second flavor, That will not allow division. She did it on purpose. Insolent from We ended up getting Raffaello-flavored ice cream, which tasted okay but nothing special. Definitely not worth 4 euros, especially after the rude saleswoman and the limit of tasting one flavor per person.

A cozy place hidden between the small street of the old town in Dubrovnik. The service is swift, people are a little bit rude. The taste is very authentic to mention the pistachio, it was really tasty. The price is a little bit higher than other Gelato' shops.

Best gelato!! Went back 3 days in a row and tried different options. No queue, price was €4 a scoop (which was in line with other stores in Dubrovnik). Offered tasters and accepted card and cash. Staff were friendly and gelato was the best in Croatia!

The reviews were spot on — the flavors were great! The pistachio tasted genuinely natural, not artificial at all, and the yogurt pomegranate was refreshing and authentic
