It was the best stay of my 2-week travel in Massachusetts! I really enjoyed the hotel itself, but even more the family vibe and the friendly staff. I felt very welcomed. The hotel offered a complimentary historical tour of the town on the day I arrived; it was super interesting and the best way to meet other guests. I was upgraded upon arrival to the apartment, which was AWESOME. It was cool to have a fully equipped kitchen and a living room for myself. There was three bedrooms in the apartment. The continental breakfast was also the best I had with lots of choices, fresh fruits, cereals, breads, pastries, etc. And of course, it was really nice having free cookies and tea in the afternoon in the lobby or on the veranda. The Pequot was the perfect starting point to visit Oak Bluffs, being just a 5 to 10 minutes walk to everything. Pequot Avenue is also a nice street to walk, leading to the beach. Thank you to the team, and I hope I'll be back one day. It really was a home away from home.

Location was great. We could walk anywhere easily. The cookies in the evening were nice as well as the available games for our kids to play. The porch was very relaxing and had many rocking chairs. Continental breakfast was good as well. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Only downside is the carpet in the room was extremely dirty. It turned my son’s socks and clothes black while walking and sitting on it. If they would replace the carpet, it would be an excellent place to stay.

Me and Girlfriend stayed at the Pequot Hotel from June 11-18 and I must say it was a great experience! ( This was our first trip to Martha's Vineyard! ) I stayed in Room 20.||Free breakfast, free postcards, Great live entertainment! Fresh daily made cookies; they were so delicious!|The Beach is less than a block away and Circuit Ave. is two blocks away. |The staff were super friendly and very helpful. |The room was very clean; the bed was very comfortable. The room was a bit dated, but doable. |The only was missing from that room was a refrigerator. We would come back from the restaurants with leftovers in hand and had nowhere to refrigerate them. So a lot of the food went to waste. All rooms at the Pequot Hotel should and must have refrigerators in every room! Plain and simple. Not just in a hand full of rooms.||I definitely will be back next year! Pequot Hotel put refrigerators in every single room in your Hotel!||You definitely will get your money's worth staying at the Pequot Hotel!

I've been visiting The Pequot annually since 2011 and it only gets better and better every year. The accommodations are spot on, you're never in need of anything! Every room type and building is fantastic, comfort all around. They literally think of everything from beach chairs, to beach umbrellas, you're never in need of anything. The porch parties are great, breakfast is amazing. Every year we leave already looking forward to the next. Lisa and her team truly can't be beat! As always, we'll see you in September!

Pro tip: Eat breakfast in the lovely patio garden, which is just to the right of the dining room. We came here on our first trip as a family with our 9 month old son. I wasn’t sure what to expect but as soon as we walked into our room, I came downstairs and booked another night. Everything about this place was above our expectations. The service was super friendly; Jill at the front desk was lovely and helped get us oriented. She also arranged for a pack and play for our son and provided useful local tips. The room was cozy and bed was comfortable. The location is also really nice; it’s about a 10 min walk from the ferry but nestled in a very picturesque part of Oak Bluffs, surrounded by colorful cottages and parks. It’s also about 10 mins to the gingerbread cottages, which is a magical way to spend an afternoon, and also about 7-8 from circuit ave which is the main drag. If you don’t have a car you can easily jump on the bus from the corner down the street and if you do, the parking is very easy.

Comfortable in every way. Fresh homemade cookies daily. Rocking chairs and a porch swing! Sunday morning mimosas added to the regular generous breakfast offering. Friday night saw entertainment on the porch provided by a local singer - excellent.||The staff was amazing and so helpful. The location can't be beat. Free street parking if you have a car.||Definitely worth a visit!

It's a pleasant stay overall. Proximity to all the happening places in Oak Bluffs. However I think there's lots of other hotels with similar setups and charms and porches and near beaches that's worthwhile to check out also. Room is relatively small that's understandable because most of these are converted from former grand homes. Zoning restrictions on the island prevent having elevators/escalators. So hauling heavy luggages up and downstairs on steep staircase to room is a consideration for those who maybe less mobile. Room stand alone AC is noisy and walls are thin. Only minor complain was shower stall smaller than a cruise ship stall AND slippery. Other than Pequot is old school charm. Strong WIFI, free continental breakfast, cookies/lemonade in the afternoon. Coffee/tea/cocoa/hot water almost always available. Porches are godsend on Martha's Vineyard as the sea breeze welcomes people just chill out on the porches with their favorite drinks/snacks and enjoy life at a slower pace.
