Perak Hotel

I was keen to Stay in Little India Area and was looking out for an affordable option and hence Perak Hotel got my attention meeting these two criteria.|turned out the only good thing about the property is it's location (1 minute walk to Bus and MRT).|1.The front desk lady was horrible, and reminded me of my school headmaster. she was utterly rude from the start and she upfront said that you have to give us room keys when you step out and we won't be responsible for your belongings|2. hotel staff was shady too. we did not feel comfortable when they were around.|3. breakfast was as good as not available.|4. Room's cleanliness was out of question. Ants and Spider webs all over.|5. washroom was so small and the sewer pipe was right in the shower cubicle so you could literally hear when the floor above you was flushing.|6. room's has zero sound proofing. sound from all directions keep coming.|7.moreover the hotel does not allow you to keep your luggage even for 2 hours after your checkout with them. we had to book a luggage service separately.||Overall do not recommend to stay here and do not fall for lower pricing as the hotel is not even worth this.

The hotel is strategically located near to ronchor MRT station. Just a few minutes walk. Can find halal restaurant around the hotel too. The 24hrs mustafa store also walking distance. Room though quite small but okay. Room is cleaned. Will come back

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, which is perfectly located just a 1-minute walk from the Rocher Metro station. The convenience of the location made exploring the city so easy, and the hotel itself was comfortable, clean, and welcoming. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from. I especially want to give a huge shoutout to Chef Joshi, who took such great care of us during our stay. He went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed, and his attention to detail and warm hospitality truly made our experience special. Thank you, Chef Joshi, for your kindness and for making our mornings so enjoyable! I also want to sincerely thank Neetha mam for her exceptional kindness and support throughout our stay. She was so warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Her genuine care and professionalism added so much to our experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a convenient location, great food, and exceptional service

Basic rooms. Good to just sleep, bathe and go explore the city. Little India is just meters away and a slew of food shops are there to tickle the palate. Rochor met is a few meters away and there is a bus stop on the main road that can literally take you on an adventure. Price on Agoda was $109. Note that this is a no frills hotel, so keep your expectations in line with the reality of this hotel and what it can offer.

The only problem is lady with hijab at the reception who is extremely rude and does not know how to behave with the customers. She doesn’t know how hospitality works, owner should get her trained or fire her from the job ASAP or at least ask her to keep a smiling face. Hotel is fine at this price point. looking at other hotels in Singapore specially in January. The main catch of the hotel is distance from public transport (MRT/Bus station).

We stayed here for one night in January 2025 on a transit in Singapore. How to judge this place? You’ll either love it or hate it, depending on what’s important to you.||Location: 30 seconds’ walk from Rochor MRT station, 35 minutes from Changi Airport. Excellent.||Vibe: Slightly seedy vibe around the hotel with clubs, spas, loitering moustachioed fellows, 24 hour eateries and the like. But well-lit and safe.||Staff: Night front desk staff friendly and chatty, morning front desk staff grumpy and miserable. Was it something we said?||Breakfast: Noodles, rice, cereal, toast. Adequate enough. Have to ask for tea and coffee from the staff. We asked for a second cup and got a disapproving frown. ||Room: Has seen better days but who cares as long as it’s clean(ish)comfy and quiet.||At the end of the day, Perak Hotel isn’t going to win any design or customer service awards but for a convenient transit hotel, it takes some beating.

We stayed at Singapore on many occasions and this hotel is definitely the worst in our experience. I booked this hotel because website mentioned airport shuttle service. That hotel doesn't provide a soap in the bathroom, do you think they will run a bus to the airport? We arrived very late at night and were given room 107 that is next to the breakfast area. At 5 am in the morning were waken up by continuous stomping from the room above. Then the room was filled in with a smell of very stale cooking oil, then there was very loud talking of the kitchen staff. We got up and discovered that the toilet in our room is trickling water, not flashing. I went to the reception and asked to be moved to another room - not possible. I asked to cancel booking for the next 2 nights - not possible. If it was possible they would have noone there! Website promised basic amenities but there were none! No tea or coffee, no water, almost no toilet paper! The room is so small I had to put my suitcase on the bed to get something out of it. The next night the noise from above continued for hours, stomping and drugging furniture across the floor. I'm pretty sure a staff member and not a hotel guest lives there. We complained about toilet to the management and she told us that we don't know how to use the flash button.

Perfect location close to all public transport and walking distance to many sites. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. ||The only negative was that the aircon wasn’t as cold as we liked but it was so cheap it didn’t bother us too much. ||They changed our bedding and towels every day which was very kind.

Perak Hotel is a clean and safe hotel in Little India. Good value for your money, especially in pricey Singapore. We stayed two nights in January. All the staff are friendly. Breakfast is included and they always cooked our eggs to order. The menu was different each morning! The rooms are average size with small bathrooms. Shower is small but the whole place was kept clean. AC worked well. I was not able to get wifi from my room but it was free access from the lobby. We slept well and did not hear much noise from busy Little India. We chose this location because of its easy access to the MRT Station. Getting around is super easy in Singapore! Very good budget hotel for those looking for included breakfast and internet access!
