Beautiful large cave with lots and lots of stalactites and stalagmites. Long path internally to walk safely. Beautiful big rooms, some with fancy illumination. All good except the English level of the guide: polite and kind but her English was pretty poor even for an Italian like me...

It was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. The cave is beautiful and impressive, and our guide was very informative about both the cave itself and its history, speaking in both Greek and English. It's recommended to wear comfortable sports shoes or boots, as the high humidity makes some areas slippery and requires caution. There are also quite a few stairs, so a bit of stamina is needed. Definitely worth a visit!

A fascinating cave system and definitely worth a visit while in Ioannina. The tours start every half hour, so if you just miss one, you’ll need to wait for the next – good to know in advance. The only downside was that the guide explained everything in both Greek and English, which made the tour feel a bit long and slow at times. Still, the cave itself is beautiful and impressive to see once you’re inside.

It an amazing expience we left amazed. The tours start about every 20min the temperature inside is mainly at 18 degrees Celsius but you don’t need any jacket bravo use of higher humidity in the entrance they say the tour is about 45’ but always the tour ands about 1 hour or more the guides are very polite and they will answer your questions. I suggest this experience but be warned inside the cave there are about 600+ stairs and at the and they are 180 without any stop. Also be warned near the entrance they are some friendly guys telling free parking don’t go there it’s a scam the want you to buy something from their store

Really cool. We waited 25 mins for the tour to start and the tour itself lasted 50 mins. The tour guide spoke in greek and English and was very clear. There are a decent amount of steps but it didn't bother us. Definitely recommend doing this at least once. There's a really nice view and walk back at the end of the tour as well.

Interesting discovery….I was looking for something before going to Igoumenitsa, and this cave was a very good experience. Temperature inside is 17-18*C, high humidity….but you suffer only at the end when you have to ramp up on a high staircase….then the return is from outside but all walking down. Cave is nice, not huge but with a different type of la escapes, stalagmites and stalactites, column…. The only pity is that the group is too large and you cannot hear the voice of the guide if you are at the end of the group….you cannot hear ok y walk inside one by one. Parking outside is free of charge (if available) or there are some parking with a fee.

Wow, what an incredible experience! This was actually our very first time visiting a cave, and Perama Cave completely blew us away. The scale, the atmosphere, the shapes of the stalactites and stalagmites – it’s like walking into another world. Every chamber felt more impressive than the last, and we couldn’t stop saying “wow” at each turn. We parked not on the street but at a private parking next to a jewelry & souvenir shop right by the entrance, which was super convenient. The whole visit was very well organized – guided tour of about 45 minutes, and the guide was both knowledgeable and really engaging. You never feel rushed, and the lighting inside is just perfect to highlight the natural beauty without spoiling the mystery. At the very end of the route, you come out to a fantastic panoramic terrace with breathtaking views over Ioannina and the lake. There’s also a little shop and a place to sit down, relax, and take it all in after the underground adventure. For us, this was a 100% must-see and a highlight of our trip around Ioannina. If you’ve never been to a cave before, this is the perfect one to start with – unforgettable!
