Was told a small hammer I purchased would pass through airport screening, but this information was incorrect; the hammer was confiscated. I called to inform them of what happened and all I got was an, "I'm sorry". The hammer was not terribly expensive but some offer to remedy the situation could have been extended.

An eclectic blend of fun good smelling knick knacks and genuine vintage items. A feast for the eyes and the nose. There's a friendly K9 employee to help navigate the shop as well named Mogui

This is my "Go to" for gift buying. I can always find the perfect something for someone, even myself. Lots of beautiful thing for the home and beautiful design services.

Caroline and her team were amazing.

Lots of great home items. Sales people couldn't be bothered to acknowledge customers.

These people are condescending and not helpful They act as if they are doing you a favor to have you in their shop I won’t go again and I won’t recommend it

Yelp
Home decor galore! This would be the first place I would stop if I had one of those trendy Garden District shotguns and I had the money to decorate it however I wanted. All of the items here seem to be vintage inspired, and that's right up my alley. I love the bright colors and I love that the first room you see when you walk in is decorated to look like a cozy living room- it really gives you an idea of what YOUR space could look like. My favorites were the gorgeous antique chairs that were finished with beautiful pops of color. They also have smaller items, just in case you don't have the nerve to pull the trigger on a large piece of furniture. The woman working was very friendly and I liked that there was a lot packed into the space.

Yelp
I love Perch. I can always find a unique gift, a fabulous Nest candle, swoon worthy art and pillows, or incredible design ideas. Caroline is a dream to work with. She made custom cushions for our dining room chairs with fabric she sourced for us. We get tons of compliments on them. Perch is definitely the type of store to pop your head in weekly to see what's new.

Yelp
Perch is an antique furniture shop on Magazine Street. I frequented the store during the "Art for Art's Sake" event. Food: n/a (no rating) Service: Although difficult to guage during an event such as this, employees were readily available to assist during the showing. (3 stars) Facilites: A rather typical storefront in this area along the Magazine Street Corridor. (3 stars) Overall: I don't typically frequent said such establishments, as I have little interest in antiques, but I would suggest you check out the place for yourself. (3 stars--average antique store for the area)

Yelp
Incredible experience shopping at Perch with a friend. The ladies were friendly and welcoming, the wares are impressive to say the least, and the service... literally unmatched. We purchased some small furniture items but were traveling without a car. One of the associates, Devin, went above and beyond by offering to personally deliver them to us. She and the others were overly gracious every step of the way! If you're looking for a shop wherein you will want to buy basically everything (provided you have great taste) and receive best-in-class service, GO. TO. PERCH. Seriously. Should receive six stars.

Yelp
This is a lovely decorative items shop on Magazine St. The style of the items for sale here make me think of a hybrid combination of Kate Spade/Lilly Pulitzer. Stylistically speaking the majority of the decorative items do not fit into my home decor. However for those that like this sort of things this is your store. A few pillows caught my eye, but alas I did not love them enough to purchase them. The store also has some very nice antiques with some very fancy prices. It is worthy of a stop if you are in New Orleans and you are strolling along Magazine Street.

Yelp
Very bad experience: had four chairs recovered in hair on hide, $6000. After one year, hair falling out but owners said they couldn't see it in submitted photographs. After 1 1/2 years, major loss of hair on all four chairs. Showed the owners, to no avail. Refused to even work with me in any way. I guess given the kind of money they come from, $6000 for one year of aesthetically acceptable appearance is money well spent. Crooks.

Yelp
perch. offers a spectrum of forward thinking styles for the home. It's a place where 19th century pieces coexist with avant-garde contemporary. I'm still thinking about this great Chihuly-inspired chandelier just inside the door and wishing I could stop in at night to see it in all its glory. Modern lines merge artfully with antique and vintage objects. The New Orleans look with a progressive twist, or Blanche DuBois with a makeover. Yes, it's called....perch. perch.

Yelp
Visited Perch today and was treated extremely rudely when I questioned a clerk/owner about seeing Perch in a magazine. She responded with a smirk and replied that she couldn't say. To be treated with such disdain is both unacceptable and bad for business. I will not go there again.

Yelp
In LOVE with this store. Perfect for gifts -- for others and yourself. Would spend hours here if I could!
