What a unique and amazing place to stay! We were in the Cabane Monpazier, which overlooked the town of Monpazier across a picturesque field, and we loved every moment of our time there. ||||The treehouses are charmingly nestled in among the branches of huge, lovely trees, separated from each other by enough distance to feel quite private, but not too remote. The space inside the cabane is tiny, but well-appointed; every bit of the cabin feels like you can get the full utility out of it! Our two children (6 and 9) loved the bunk beds built into the back wall, and we enjoyed the bed in the loft, above. The kitchen is nicely kitted-out, with glasses, utensils, etc. We picked up a cheese/meat/bread picnic in the lovely, close bastide town of Monpazier, and had a smashing picnic on the deck in the twilight. We also had a fantastic picnic in the morning as well, with the well-stocked picnic basket that ascended via rope to await our awakening. ||||I usually include a few negative items in my reviews, even for the places that I love, but I can't think of a single one here. Please book this! It will be a stay to remember.

Fantastic place to stay, despite the understandable requirement for a long outdoor staircase with a toddler! The delivery of breakfast by rope pull basket was a highlight for us and our little girl.|We stayed in Monpazier which had bunk beds for kids. It was very luxurious, and even in rain and wind felt safer than a 'normal house.'|

We stayed in the Monpazier cabane with 2 children. It was pure magic, we all loved it! Upon arrival we enjoyed dinner on the terrace, the cabin was spacious and very well equipped (rainshower! airco!) and the view on Monpazier was stunning. What a great experience, definitely one of the highlights of our summer holiday!

There are 5 different tree houses - you feel totally secluded - and all very well appointed. it is a magical experience. ||Your evening meal (if you order it the day before) and your breakfast is brought to you via a basket which is hauled up on a pulley system. The rooms inside are comfortable, but you need to be fairly fit because there is a spiral staircase to climb the tree house and a steepish set of stairs to go to the top bedroom. The owners have also provided areas for games (darts, boules etc) and there are some pigs and goats and rabbits too. Magical.
