What a unique and amazing place to stay! We were in the Cabane Monpazier, which overlooked the town of Monpazier across a picturesque field, and we loved every moment of our time there. ||||The treehouses are charmingly nestled in among the branches of huge, lovely trees, separated from each other by enough distance to feel quite private, but not too remote. The space inside the cabane is tiny, but well-appointed; every bit of the cabin feels like you can get the full utility out of it! Our two children (6 and 9) loved the bunk beds built into the back wall, and we enjoyed the bed in the loft, above. The kitchen is nicely kitted-out, with glasses, utensils, etc. We picked up a cheese/meat/bread picnic in the lovely, close bastide town of Monpazier, and had a smashing picnic on the deck in the twilight. We also had a fantastic picnic in the morning as well, with the well-stocked picnic basket that ascended via rope to await our awakening. ||||I usually include a few negative items in my reviews, even for the places that I love, but I can't think of a single one here. Please book this! It will be a stay to remember.
