I had high hopes for this brunch spot, but unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the most underwhelming experiences I’ve had.
To start with the positives, the coffee was decent—a small consolation amidst an otherwise disappointing meal. The eggs Benedict were passable, but the yolks, which should be delightfully runny, were fully cooked, robbing the dish of its signature appeal.
The real letdown, however, was the shakshouka—the worst I’ve ever had. Instead of a rich, flavorful stew of tomatoes and spices with perfectly poached eggs, it was a sad assembly of hard-cooked eggs floating in a mass of barely heated, canned tomatoes. It lacked depth, seasoning, and any semblance of care.
Adding to the discomfort, the place was incredibly cramped. There was barely enough room to sit comfortably, let alone enjoy the meal. The lack of space made the overall atmosphere feel chaotic and uninviting.
Unfortunately, this brunch spot failed to deliver on all fronts, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone seeking a satisfying meal or a pleasant dining experience.
