Peridot Grand Luxury Boutique Hotel

We had a fabulous 4 night stay at The Peridot Grand. The Hotel is centrally located in Hanoi's old quarter and the rooms and facilities were just outstanding. We have stayed at other luxury boutique hotels in Hanoi previously but The Peridot Grand stands out, especially for its service and staff/management team. Russell at frontdesk is very friendly, professional and caring- he is genuinely passionate about providing excellent service and his recommendations re. Places to see, eat and unique experiences in and around Hanoi were spot on! Well done to the team at Peridot Grand and we would recommend this Hotel for all visitors to Hanoi. Hanoi is just beautiful at this time of the year and its people are the reall attraction !

What a unique place in Hanoi. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet courtyard and is simply beautiful. Our room is enormous, with a separate living room, two bathrooms, and an en-suite bedroom with a wonderful bathroom. Everything is spotlessly clean, and the bed and linens are incredibly comfortable. Breakfast is delicious. You get everything you need. Unfortunately, we were ill during our stay, but the hotel is taking exemplary care of us. Our contact person, Sam, ordered light meals for us and gave us helpful tips. Tea and snacks were brought to our room. There is absolutely nothing to criticize about this place. The rooms, the service, and the location—everything is perfect! The best 5 star hotel so far in whole Vietnam. I will definitely come back.

Great Hotel! Great hotel in an excellent location with very helpful and polite service. Communication was excellent, especially with Ms Kylie, who was very helpful with her communication. All staff were polite, friendly, and professional. Breakfast was excellent, and a nice added touch was the option to organise a takeaway coffee if you’re on the go. The spa experience, specifically the massage lady ‘one of the best head, neck, and shoulder massages’ I’ve had. The rooftop bar is also a great place to relax with a drink. However, when paying for a 5-star hotel, I would expect access to the pool and wellness facilities to be included. Unfortunately, there is an additional charge to use the sauna and steam room, which is disappointing. These facilities should ideally be included automatically rather than charged separately. The room was comfortable but smaller than expected for a Premier Deluxe Double Room, and there was no balcony. Overall, a very good hotel with excellent service and amenities, but a few details prevent it from fully meeting 5-star expectations.

Stayed here while on family winter trip to Hanoi - researched a number of different other establishments, many of which were more affordable, but eventually picked this from the reviews, pictures and location. It is located at the heart of the Old Quarter but felt removed from the bustle after a tranquil walk through the front entrance to the lobby. High ceiling and ornate decorations made the place feel like a sanctuary. We had several room types (adjoining rooms and suite) and they were all well appointed. Daily breakfast was sumptuous. The gym was small and not open 24 hours. Rooftop pool and bar was stunning. The service was excellent - special shoutout to Candy who helped us whenever we have any requests, even on the weekends (and when she’s not working!). A special hotel for a memorable trip.

We had a fantastic time staying at the Peridot Grand Hotel. First of all, the hotel is exquisite - walking in to the lobby for the first time will transform you back to an era of elegance and opulence. The decor is a work of art in itself. Standing in the lobby, you feel like you are part of the painting. Secondly, the staff is super tentative to all your needs, making you feel like you are the most special guest at the hotel. The Guest Relations Officer, Kylie Kieu Anh, took care of us even before we arrived. She meticulously communicated with us days before to make sure our itinerary was organized with dinner reservations and tours which she arranged. While at the hotel, she checked on us constantly to make sure we had the best services. Finally, the location is prime - stepping outside you are immediately immersed in the old neighborhood charm of the Old Quarter including all the delicious street food you have always wanted to try. One can pretend to be like the late Anthony Bourdain doing the thing he was most happy with - sitting on a plastic chair in Vietnam eating street food. I can’t wait to return to this magical city and relive the experience at the Peridot Grand Luxury Hotel.

This is a truly beautiful 5-star hotel — a bit pricey, but absolutely worth every penny! The service and attention to detail are exceptional. Special thanks to Jason Nguyen, the Client Relationship Manager, for his thoughtful and heartwarming service. He followed up with us in advance, arranged everything we needed, and made sure our stay was perfect. We were warmly welcomed with a refreshing drink and towel upon arrival, and even received a lovely small souvenir when we checked out. Jason also kindly arranged a car for our trip to the airport, which made everything so convenient. I really enjoyed staying here — from the elegant atmosphere to the outstanding hospitality, everything exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Hanoi! ✨

Absolutely amazing hotel. We stayed here for a few days at the beginning of our Vietnam trip. Hanoi is an incredible and exciting city, but it’s sometimes nice to have a relaxing and peaceful place to go to. Peridot is exactly that! Its entrance is off the street and the windows are sound proof. The room was absolutely beautiful with a really good shower. The spa was lovely and we had really good treatments there when we arrived. Breakfast was very very good with a huge selection. The rooftop bar is expensive (European prices), but is a very relaxing place to spend some time. The staff are absolutely amazing. Very friendly and helpful at all times. Vietnam is a country with very friendly and good people and Peridot has some of the very best! We are European so don’t really like too much opening doors and helping you with your seat and they “picked up” on that. Which was great! They looked after our luggage for a few days when we were on tours and even helped us locate a jacket left on a bus coming back from Halong Bay. The reviews are true. This is a really great hotel in the mad and brilliant Old Quarter. Old Quarter 5*, Hanoi 5*, Peridot 6*, Vietnam 10* 🙂

Peridot hotel went to lenghts to cater to our ever changing demands due to unforeseen circumstances. I am truly grateful to the team. It was so wonderful of them to pack us vegetarian breakfast for our flight before the actual brekky started. Truly moved by the hospitality, they really made us believe how Vietnam takes the crown for making the visitors feel at ease. It was the best hotel we stayed in Hanoi. The staff was always smiling and greeting us with so much genuineness. Unbeatable location, great food, always smelling amazing and an indoor jacuzzi for those cold months as well.
