Peridot Grand Luxury Boutique Hotel

This is a truly beautiful 5-star hotel — a bit pricey, but absolutely worth every penny! The service and attention to detail are exceptional. Special thanks to Jason Nguyen, the Client Relationship Manager, for his thoughtful and heartwarming service. He followed up with us in advance, arranged everything we needed, and made sure our stay was perfect. We were warmly welcomed with a refreshing drink and towel upon arrival, and even received a lovely small souvenir when we checked out. Jason also kindly arranged a car for our trip to the airport, which made everything so convenient. I really enjoyed staying here — from the elegant atmosphere to the outstanding hospitality, everything exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Hanoi! ✨

Everything was perfect! After spending hours researching hotels online we thought we were splitting hairs when we chose the Peridot over other hotels in the area. After being in Hanoi, we realised The Peridot was the perfect hotel and a far superior choice to other hotels in the area which were just outside of the Old Quarter or not as secluded. Tucked away off the street, this hotel is perfection in so many ways. The staff service was above and beyond and kudos to Julie & Kylie who made our stay in Hanoi that much more special with insider tips on where to go to truly experience Hanoi. We chose a Junior Suite and we highly recommend that room option for that extra bit of room. The bed was amazing and the bathroom was opulent. A perfect location. Great amenities and amazing staff - highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing hotel. We stayed here for a few days at the beginning of our Vietnam trip. Hanoi is an incredible and exciting city, but it’s sometimes nice to have a relaxing and peaceful place to go to. Peridot is exactly that! Its entrance is off the street and the windows are sound proof. The room was absolutely beautiful with a really good shower. The spa was lovely and we had really good treatments there when we arrived. Breakfast was very very good with a huge selection. The rooftop bar is expensive (European prices), but is a very relaxing place to spend some time. The staff are absolutely amazing. Very friendly and helpful at all times. Vietnam is a country with very friendly and good people and Peridot has some of the very best! We are European so don’t really like too much opening doors and helping you with your seat and they “picked up” on that. Which was great! They looked after our luggage for a few days when we were on tours and even helped us locate a jacket left on a bus coming back from Halong Bay. The reviews are true. This is a really great hotel in the mad and brilliant Old Quarter. Old Quarter 5*, Hanoi 5*, Peridot 6*, Vietnam 10* 🙂

We stayed here as a couple for just one night in November 2025, and we genuinely wished we could have stayed longer. From the moment we checked in, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, helping us settle in comfortably. Breakfast was also very good, with plenty of options to choose from. When we checked out, they even offered us bottled water to take with us, which was a thoughtful touch and showed their attention to detail. Our room was not small at all, and we really appreciated the large window which brought in lots of natural light. The location is also excellent — the Train Street cafés are within walking distance, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The interior design is modern, stylish, and well put together. We would absolutely love to return. Unfortunately, when we tried to book again for our next trip, all the rooms were already fully booked, so we had to stay elsewhere. That alone shows how popular the place is. Highly recommended, and we hope to come back soon.

After 8 wonderful days in Hanoi and the Peridot we have only great things to say about this amazing hotel. The location is brilliant for exploring the Old Town by foot, and there are plentiful of great restaurants, street food stalls, cafés and bars in the surrounding area. Jason and Julie were super nice and very knowledgable and guided us to some brilliant spots for Vietnamese food and things to see. When my wife's phone was stolen (the phone seemed to be the only target) ,Julie was extremely helpful and personally took us to the police station. I believe it is hotel policy, but either way it took a lot of stress out of the ordeal. The breakfast is very nice with a great selection, and the service and competence at the Spa is as high as the rest of the hotel. We had three amazing massages with Ha and Ly (one of the massages was on the hotel when they learned about the lost phone, which was an incredibly nice gesture). Unfortunately the weather limited our pool time a bit, but it is another great feature of the Peridot, as well as the lovely roof top bar Ignite right above the pool. They make excellent drinks, have some live music and the view is among the best in town. We can highly recommend the facilities and the friendly and hard working people of the Peridot. They even gave us some nice goodbye gifts at our day of departure. We will definitely be back if we return to the great city of Hanoi one day.

We had a wonderful stay at the Peridot Grand Hotel. The room was spacious, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable, and the breakfast had a great selection with a solid egg station. What truly set our experience apart was the outstanding assistance we received from Hong Vu at the travel desk. Even before our arrival, Hong helped us plan and coordinate our entire Vietnam trip. She carefully reviewed our itinerary, made thoughtful recommendations, and ensured we had all the information needed to make our journey go smoothly. During our travels, she continued to help with transportation between cities, made adjustments as needed, and regularly checked in to make sure everything was going well. Thanks to Hong’s support and attention to detail, we felt completely comfortable and stress-free throughout our trip. Her professionalism and genuine care made a huge difference in our experience. We recommend the Peridot Grand Hotel, and we are especially grateful to Hong for going above and beyond to make our visit to Vietnam truly memorable!

We had a great experience at the Peridot! It is right in the heart of Old Quarters. You walk outside the hotel and you're in the hustle and bustle. They were extremely attentive to us and made sure our trip was a 10/10 experience. The hotel was very clean and beautiful. Kylie gave us some great recommendations on where to eat and things to see. They organized our transportation from the airport and made everything very seamless. Thank you for everything!!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooftop lounge and pool area are stunning, offering beautiful views of the city—especially at sunset. It was the perfect spot to unwind with a drink and a quick swim. Although the pool is on the smaller side, it's very well maintained and feels like a relaxing oasis above the city. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, and the hotel lobby smells absolutely divine. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and all the common areas were spotless. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with plenty of variety to choose from, including a made-to-order egg station that had everything we could want. The location is ideal—just a short walk to explore the Old Quarter—and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful. When our driver had trouble finding the hotel, one of the lovely front desk staff members kindly spoke to him on my phone and gave him clear directions. It made all the difference. Thank you for such a fantastic stay in Hanoi! We’ll definitely be back in the future.
