Last minute find based upon other reviews so am paying it forward. We’ve been in Germany for 2 weeks and on our final leg and schnitzel, sausage and sauerbraten has lost its luster. Quick phone call and a reservation is confirmed by Sebastian. Upon arrival we are greeted as if we are regulars. Offered tap water, like they knew us and gently directed us to the “right” bottle of red wine that would expose not hide the flavors of dishes ordered. It is asparagus and raspberry/strawberry season so opted for an asparagus stuffed chicken breast and a beef, marinaded and seasoned, raspberry salad. Spectacular. Turns out Sebastian is the owner and he showed great interest in our travels and accommodated my old man inquisition regarding produce sourcing. A most delightful evening with food, atmosphere and service all hitting highs. One last note it is a very intimate space so call ahead to not be disappointed.
