We had a great dinner here. We ordered a pizza and a pasta, while our son had the kids’ fish and chips. All of us were quite happy with our meals – the flavours were good and the serving sizes generous. Service was quick and the staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience pleasant. The only downside was that the tables and chairs felt quite old and could definitely use a refresh to lift the atmosphere. Despite that, we still left happy and would consider returning.

Nice but expected a little better. The menu could do with a little more detail and did not match the online menu. Our main was a bigger version of the entree eccentrically and didn’t realise it was all going to be battered and fried. Service was very good, food was also good just like ff the mark with value for money. Parking was easy.

I had the crab benney. Do not recommend at all. It’s just a basic English muffin, the avocado tasted like it was beginning to turn and not much lime flavour at all. There was lots of crab meat but it wasn’t especially sweet like crab can be. It might have been slightly better if the meat had been served warm. Coffee was average at best.

Terrible unfriendly customer service and frozen Italian jam balls. After 15 years in Cairns, I took a mate of mine to Perrotta’s for his birthday breakfast expecting a good moment. The Indian lady working there was unfriendly and is 100% unable to smile. We ordered an $80 breakfast yet nobody wiped our table. We had to ask the young asian waitress who reluctantly quickly wiped approximately 70% of our table. She then managed to dump our plates on the table and walk away. Not a single bit of Care nor kindness in her service and approach. (Why employing people who seem to hate their job?) The italian bombolinis we ordered are literally the frozen ones from Aldi. They were still wet and microwave-moist underneath from the microwaving process. Such a shame, the bacon eggs was decent. A business that has been doing too well, for too long in Cairns and does not value its clients, especially locals, and clearly has not learned its lessons from Covid. I was so embarrassed by this experience in front of my mate after joking about having a great brekkie for his bday. Never again Perrrotta’s. Good luck disrespecting and serving mediocre service and food to others.

Google
Great location outside covered terrace to watch the world go by Friendly efficient service Food - a good test for a chef / kitchen is a Caesar salad Often salads are treated lazily, and a common trend is to remove the anchovies, have non-crunchy, old croutons and substitute for romaine lettuce This caesar was excellent and it is now my preference in Cairns Well done 👍🏻

We had a beautiful dinner here, the seafood was delicious and everything well presented, the drink was crisp and looked amazing and the desert was delightful. The plate sizes are perfect it was a meal that filled you up. Fregola marinara Fish and chips Thirsty Senorita Tiramisu

Yelp
Ordered the Fish n Chips since I haven't had one since arriving in Australia. Though the presentation is impressive, the taste was ok. The sauce that came with it made up for the lack of seasoning on the fish. Fries tasted great. Nothing extraordinary with the ice coffee. It's an outdoor dining, susceptible to gasoline smell from car exhaust. Would have returned to try the Barramundi but my first experience wasn't so appealing.

Yelp
Nice spacious, outdoor seating. We had two vegetarian's in our party of three. The server was helpful. I had the spaghetti with prawns, and the prawns were cooked perfectly, but the spaghetti noodles themselves weren't outstanding. The grapes were a little bit of a surprise, but it seems to be something they do here. My friend and I were at a Thai place the night before, and they also included grapes in the ingredients for the entrée. They did have the right level of garlic. The vegetarian choices were a little uneven. The zucchini chips didn't seem to have been cooked in hot enough oil and were oily. The broccolini were cooked to too much of a char. The gnudi was more successful. The watermelon coolers were pretty good, and the Shiraz had good tannins.

Yelp
This hipster hangout features a huge outdoor space overlooking the street at the corner of Shields and Abbott Streets. We popped in for breakfast around 8 on a Monday and virtual had the place to ourselves. They feature smoothies and juices and a good assortment of breakfast items with some higher end twists. One in our group had the eggs Benedict, another two eggs over easy with toast, another poached eggs and toast and I had the French toast with stone fruits. Food was high quality and well prepared and not overly huge portions. We also tried some of the juices (Orange) and mint/watermelon (very refreshing). My son enjoyed the mango (sunrise) smoothie. Like everywhere we've eaten in Cairns, it's a bit pricey. Around $88 AUS for the four of us. By the way, you pay at the counter when you are finished and seat yourself when you arrive for breakfast.

Yelp
Always a pleasure, I've never had a bad meal or experience. Fast and efficient service. Great coffee, amazing smoothies and juice. Can highly recommend the fresh fruit and yoghurt as well as the home made granola and French toast. A definite must when in the city Centre!

Yelp
Terrible, fried, very unsavory and pricey food. Chicken popcorn- terrible almost uneatable. Cauliflower- too fried, an ok "dressing". Eggplant- tasted like nothing, didn't even eat it. Sweet potatoe fries- just ok. Tuna ceviche- just ok. The fish tacos were probably the only saveable dish and it was regular. There are so many better options in Cairns. Not recommended.

Yelp
An art gallery with an outdoor cafe, it's a fantastic idea. We were walking around one morning trying to decide where to have breakfast and saw this little place. Now do get me wrong it looked a bit upscale which normally for breakfast isn't my style since I most likely just rolled out of bed, have a little bed head pony tail, but a pretty decent second day eyeliner smokey eye but this place had a patio and if you don't know by now I am a sucker for patios. He got eggs of course and toast and I got amazing poached eggs on a jalapeño cornbread with pulled pork and cheese. I have not had a more delicious filing breakfast. The only thing holding them back was charging $7 for an orange juice that they put ice in and frothed.... So little orange juice for the price...

Yelp
We had lunch here - 3 adults and a child. Everyone has tasty food, they readily accommodated vegan meal request with great suggestions and service. Friendly staff, mellow ambiance. I would definitely recommend Perrotta's.

Yelp
Nice restaurant, great service and location. Good for a couple of drinks or for a full meal. Pizza is great and wine comes at the right temperature. Recommended!

Yelp
Breakfast was good, but the service was poor & slow. Our waitress didn't like non-locals. She was grouchy to us but clearly nicer to the Australian family next to us. Our food came after a long wait and not complete, then we got over charged. I wanted to Iike this place but can't because the service made me feel unwelcomed. I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Yelp
We had dinner and breakfast here. Both outstanding. Seriously good food and wonderful friendly staff. We would go back again for sure. So nice to have a breakfast menu that isn't just boring bacon and eggs. Beautiful food.

Yelp
Starter bowled us over with eggplant chips seasoned with Moroccan spices & roasted sesame to dip in cumin yogurt. Had superb dinner of grilled octopus salad with both red watermelon and pickled white rind, avocado & paper thin raddish dressed with delightful vinaigrette flavored with mint and parsley. Hubby had spicy meatballs with roasted polpette(salami meat). Son had Mary Had s Little Lamb with roasted pumpkin, aspace, pickled carrots, cucumbers, siracha, cumin yogurt sandwich. Francis fantastic server. May be one of the best restaurants in Cairns.

Yelp
We stopped here to grab a bite before heading out of Cairns and I dream about their poached eggs all the way from California. We sat outside and are, people watched and drank coffee. It was wonderful!

Yelp
My husband and I came here for breakfast and it was exquisite. Love the cute atmosphere and the pear french toast was on point. My husband also thoroughly enjoyed his egg dish. We also got a fresh muffin that was scrumptious - we liked everything we got!

Yelp
We loved the salmon eggs Benedict, the sausage breakfast was awesome too.

Yelp
We are local Cairns people and we love Perrottas. The food is consistently good yet still adventurous enough to keep us coming back. We had Japanese guests tonight and all was delicious.
