In October 2025 my husband and I got married at Perry Hotel. The staff was incredible to work with throughout the process in selecting meals, linens, and creating a space and day that truly felt like us. Our guests could not have been more pleased with the space, the food, and overall atmosphere. On our wedding night, we returned to our sweet to find a thoughtful card and gift from the hotel staff. We seriously could not speak more highly of our experience, the staffs ability to pivot from original plans (due to weather conditions), and the way we felt cared for.

We love the Perry hotel. For a 2 night getaway in downtown Petoskey, it's one of our favourites. The "Superior Corner Room" that over looks the downtown is our go to room. Comfy and cozy, especially with the in room fireplace. Rooms are clean and well maintained. And the breakfast offered in the Rose room is always delicious. Plus the view over looking Little Traverse Bay is exceptional. Staff is friendly and professional. And if you go during the Christmas season, the place is decked out to the nines

We stayed for a week at the Lake House at the Perry Hotel. The location is great and staying in an older home has its quirks, but our first impressions were very positive. The only reason I cannot give a higher star rating is the primary bedroom has a nice window set to view the bay, but it is not weather-proof. Of course we had a large snow storm the next evening and the noise was distracting from the wind coming through. But the cold was the issue. As the outside temp dropped the cold air easily made it in. It got so cold after that first night we couldn't stay in the room. Upon inspection the windows were sealed with clear masking tape - not a solution. I did bring this to the front desk and suggested foil tape or another sealer that insulates as masking tape will not do. However nothing was done, as I said its an older home but it wasn't cheap to stay and losing that room for 4 nights was a large inconvenience. If these windows are sealed I would be happy to stay here again.

Let me start by saying Wow!!! Let's place was an unexpected surprise. The entire hotel is done in classic alligence. Each room has its own unique decor and feels so comfortable in cozy. The staff is very welcoming and available for your every need.. The location couldn't be any better with beautiful views of the Lake and in close proximity to everything in town, shopping, dinning and the beach Front.

I had received a gift card that covered about half of our two night stay on a Thursday, Friday checking out early Saturday morning. We had lots of little issues. Nothing catastrophic but adding them all together made it a place we probably wouldn’t go back to. The area is great and the hotel’s location is great. Our room wasn’t ready until after 5 pm. But they offered us a voucher for some drinks which was nice. Our room 411 had some kind of HVAC or something outside the window that has a constant high pitch buzzing noise that never stops. The thermostat in the room never worked quite right and we were told “well that’s just how they are.”There was a wedding while we were there and the band was SO LOUD we couldn’t get to sleep and had to leave early. The food we ordered in the Noggin room was burned on the bottom but they did replace it without us even asking which was nice. Once replaced it was good. The breakfast and service in the H.O. Rose room was really good. The property is charming, great location and most of the staff pleasant and service oriented. Maybe just a lot of unfortunate turn of events but I probably wouldn’t go back to find out especially for the price.

My wife and I got married at the Perry Hotel at the beginning of this past month, and we were blown away by the service, amenities, the view and the hotel itself. There was never a moment from Thursday to Monday, that I didn’t think ‘the Perry has it handled’. We stayed at the Perry House, across the parking lot, and it truly made our wedding the perfect event that it was. Thank you so much to everyone from the Perry. The staff, event coordinators.. You all were amazing and made it a perfect weekend.

This hotel has charm, a very friendly staff and the rooms are clean and well maintained. Rick at the front desk is the perfect host and his staff are always helpful and attend to any needs you may have. The Noggin room has a nice atmosphere and the Rose Room has the best breakfasts around. The staff in both are top notch.
