We recently needed an odd item for a trip. I made a call to see if they had rain suits, and the guy that I talked to informed me they had a few. He was very polite on the phone and the same when we stopped in. They just happened to have the sizes we needed. This is the first time we were here and had a great experience.

What a nice little bait shop. They had a good selection. We came for some bait. Prices were good. The staff were super helpful and knowledgeable about what we needed for fishing. We caught some really nice fish. Highly recommend 👌

Asked for some advice and where to go for reds and the guy straight up said no. Spent 150 bucks and was treated like scum. Also everything was overpriced. Never getting my buisness again.

Very small selection really nothing useful and the guy with glasses tried to tell me shark fishing is illegal which it is in horry county but not in georgetown county which i told him where i was this is a late review from august 2024

We have LOVED coming here for all our fish and bait needs. The staff is amazing and kind, and so quick to help find what you need. The selection is huge! And my fish that we use in our wildlife rescue are always fish and perfect, the birds love them! We have been sending our fishing friends here as well and they catch awesome things with their supplies! We are completely thrilled with this place and so happy to have a local owned bait shop to visit!

This is such a cute little bait shop. They had a good variety for whatever your fishing needs may be. The guys working were friendly and face us great recommendations for fishing spots! The prices were also very reasonable.

Really great little store- they have everything you need for a quick stop or a more extensive stock up. Reels, poles, all kinds of live bait and gear. Nets, buckets, hooks, they have it all. Staff is informed, helpful, and kind. It was a perfect pit stop before our day out fishing. Mud Minnows were great quality and lived all day really colorful too.

We have been to Perry's Bait & Tackle many times over the year. They always have a good selection of love and frozen bait, along with lots of fishing gear and tackle. They also have shirts available. We will continue to visit Perry's when we are in the area. I give Perrys's a 9/10 rating.

Absolutely fantastic experience provided by the amazing people at Perry's. Our trip to Myrtle Beach to fish for Red Drums was a last minute decision not allowing enough time to properly prepare and Perry's staff answered all our questions as well as providing everything we needed to fish even going as far as sharing areas to go. Wonderful People and good quality rods and bait.

Been there twice in the same day, and being a beginner, i was very ignorant of most things. The older guys in the morning and Lance (maybe his name was Layne? Sorry, i don't remember) in the afternoon were super knowledgeable and helpful. Lance even taught me some stuff! They weren't out to make money and sell everything, they were genuinely there to help! Highly recommend, this is now my one-stop-shop for learning to fish! Also helps that the prices are low and very worth what you're getting!

Adorable shop and we'll-equipped but it does not have live bait for saltwater fishing yet so reviews need to reflect call to check availability. April is not busy enough for them to have this available. What they do have, whole drag mullet, vacuum-packed frozen mini-mullet, frozen squid and shrimp can be obtained many places without the drive.

Moved here 6 months ago and dont know much about how where and when to fish the inlets and the surf. Met claire at perrys today and she was a wealth of information. Very helpful and patient. A real pleasure!!!! Looks like my son and i found the bait shop to go to!!!!

Throw back to times when Big Box Stores didn't rule the world. Charm of an old seaside fishing village!! FAMILY OWNED with seasoned knowledge that only comes from living the life. Live bait tanks! If you want pretty, air conditioning and lined blacktop to park - not for you...you can take a trip to N. Myrtle Beach and shop in Bass Pro. Had everything we needed and more including Southern hospitality and good ol' conversation - put our purchases in the car and went back in to take a second look!! Thank you Perry's for representing our beautiful coastline -
