Enjoyed a wonderful 3 night stay whilst attending a family wedding. ||Managed to secure a parking space reserved for guests, located opposite the hotel.||A warm greeting from the hosts and shown to our beautifully appointed room. A large, comfortable bed, an ensuite with both bath and one of the best pressured showers I have encountered in a long time. Nice, Irish toiletries. ||A delicious breakfast all ordered and served to the table. Emphasis on locally sourced and home made produce. ||The hotel is beautifully appointed, the decor country chic. Nooks and crannies filled with beautiful antique furniture and the walls adorned with old paintings. ||The staff are all friendly, polite and courteous. ||Would highly recommend a visit.

If I were just rating the staff, I would give this hotel 10 stars. They are amazing, and the wonderful gal who manages the bar every night is a delightful gift. We would go back just to see her! Every staff member we interacted with for our two nights in Kinsale were wonderful. Breakfast was lovely as well. ||But I have to knock a star off because of the rooms. This is an old antique home, with lots of oil paintings, a lovely view of the harbor and exquisite flowers from their garden. And yes, the bathrooms are updated and lovely. But the bed isn’t the most comfortable at all. There is no AC so plan on sleeping with the window open which means street noise. Our hall light kept turning itself on and off all night which was so annoying. But the worst is the straw-like carpeting in the bedrooms. Literally, it’s the most uncomfortable flooring I have ever come across and it rubbed my feet raw. Bring your own slippers as they don’t supply any in the rooms. Oh and btw, there is no laundry service. ||But thanks again to the wonderful staff!

This hotel blew us away. The service was amazing. The breakfast was sooooo good. The town was adorable. Comfortable king bed and very spacious room and bathroom. TV was a bit small. My husband falls asleep to watching TV so that was a small thing for him. No air conditioning but the window in our room opened wide and let the breeze in off the bay. We were there during a heat wave and zero rain and were fine with the window open at night. The room cooled down nicely. Honestly stay here! You won't regret it. If we come back to Kinsale we'll stay here again.

This was a lovely and very charming place to stay. The vibe and decor seems to be very authentic to the manor house. There’s artwork everywhere, pressed flowers and interesting paintings. There is a beautiful small garden. The service was fantastic, excellent breakfast, comfortable beds and very clean bathrooms. No complaints!!!

This was a gem of an experience. Snuck away last minute for two nights in kinsale and this experience did not disappoint. Premium luxury but done in an understated way. Organic breakfast foods and soaps, the cleanliness and the decor were top notch! The staff were on point and professional and the owner was present and kind. |Will definitely return.

Beautiful hotel, but what you want as a basic is a good night's sleep. Unfortunately room 19 had random banging from the pipes. Like a man hitting a pipe with a hammer. I recorded it banging away after midnight. And before 6am. Unfortunately can't post video with reviews here. I brought it to attention on check out but manager / receptionist was disinterested and passed me to the porter. A shame as it was a lovely hotel in a lovely location. But for almost 1000euro for 3 nights, the least you'd expect is no hammering noise at night! Ps - we couldn't have the window open as a flock of pigeons has taken up roost just outside the window and coo coo coo from about 5am onwards!

This is the friendliest and most comfortable hotel I’ve ever stayed at! Quite impressive Georgian decor and ambiance.||We had absolutely lovely chats with every staff member we encountered, as well as with some of the other guests. The location is perfect, there is (limited) free parking - a real premium in Kinsale - and the included breakfast was superb. ||Our room overlooked a serene rooftop garden with bronze statuary, there were 2 lovely lounges with books and antique furniture. A definite 5 star experience.

“We recently celebrated my birthday with a stay at this extraordinary hotel, and it exceeded all our expectations. The hotel's decor is simply stunning, with a timeless elegance that feels like a beautiful, grand estate. Our room offered spectacular, uninterrupted views of the harbour, which made for the perfect backdrop to our celebration. Breakfast was a definite highlight. The dishes were presented with such care and artistry, and the flavors were simply incredible. We especially loved the homemade scones and jam—they were honestly the best we've ever had! Not forgetting the honey! A huge thank you to the entire team for a fantastic stay, and a special shout-out to Joseph at the front desk. His kindness and willingness to go the extra mile made our experience truly special. This is a hotel that understands hospitality, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly memorable getaway."

Yelp
Perryville House was a wonderful welcoming surprise. The accommodations were spectacular, with a small balcony to sit on facing the water. The staff was warm and very helpful, especially with the reservation that I had messed up myself. The breakfast was amazing, as well. I would love to return- ASAP!!

Yelp
NICE HOSTS. Andrew, one of our hosts, is very strong and carried all of our suitcases - in one trip to the second floor! And Laura, another host, made us yummy drinks in the bar room and a dinner reservation at Finn's Table. They both are happy to chat or leave you be depending on your mood (or your golf score). NICE LOCATION. Central to a very walkable downtown Kinsale with private parking out front. Just 20-30 minutes away from Old Head, depending how fast you drive on the left side of the road. NICE ROOM. Spacious and controlled with a single switch (eco friendly for an older home). Feather down comforter, large bathroom, and lots of natural light.

Awake to a wonderful breakfast and enjoy the fresh local cusine of Cork! Relax and enjoy. Take a walk around the harbor out side or a few steps to the center of town. Beautrful town with artisinal shops. Great restaurants and music. Feel at home!
