I never usually write reviews but I had to after staying in this hostel. First impressions were okay. The Chinese lady on reception, which is also a shop, was very nice and welcoming but then it went very down hill.||||The room we were allocated stunk, probably because of the bedding. We were given pillows completely stained yellow with bodily fluids, dirty sheets and stained blankets.||||The metal bunk beds all creak with the slightest movement, there's a nightclub next door blasting music and a skylight in the room that wakes you up at sunrise. Don't expect a good nights sleep!||||The hostel has a no alcohol policy which was terrible for us, we are travelling so can't afford to just go and drink in the bars all night without having some drinks first. this is not allowed here, we went in the shop and saw the one for the first time. All he said was I smell alcohol on you (we hadn't had a drink) and then came to the room two minutes later to check.||||The owner is very rude, never says hello, frowns as if he doesn't want you there. We were relaxed one night, watching the television and having a cigarette outside. We had had no drinks and ere being very quiet. He turned all the lights out and the television off in the middle of a programme we were interested in. He is power crazy and loves to control people. How he has any paying guests at all that want to stay I will never know.||||When we were there there were mainly long stayers and chinse people. Everyone was friendly enough but often older and Asleep very early ready for work the next day. Often after 11pm most people are asleep. Certainly not a party hostel or for young people.||||The hostel set up itself is quite good with a few rooms and a decent sized kitchen and living room with TV (when the manager allows you to watch it). With decent management and a decent cleaner it has potential to be a very good hostel.||||There are plenty of hostels out there, do not waste your time or money coming here:
