Perth City Apartment Hotel

i have stayed here 2 weeks in 2018 and came back again for another 4 days 2025 and i can't understand whats wrong with those who winges and moans about their stay! what you pay is what you get. the accomodation prices are very compeitive for its location and size of rooms which attracts younger people and lower end of customers, thats why you should expect noise and un controlled behaviour of such a customers thats not a 4 star hotel. the accomodation size was excellent, room is clean and provide a good value for what is being paid. the building is old and thats normal. needs some love what is also a valid point. i have left my rooms the same way i arrived, well and clean. and got my bond back in 24 hours without any deductions. so very abovious those who winge about bonds have an issue of understanding how things work in this business. you thrash your room and dont tak out your trash and expect the bond to be back is silly. i have been around several accomodations around WA all of them took bond and i have seen much worse around which is mainly a general challenge for all tourism industry in WA and not only this one. so as a conclusion i highly recommend this accomodation and his owner Eddie such a kind and fair person. he is strict about his policies which is good. only comment for Eddie to make the $20per day fees (which is minor) more visible to people booking this accomodation online.

Oh are you joking??? Where do I start , rice, bed bugs and black curly hair in the bathroom , bedrooms and lounge looks like they have never clean the apartments in THEIR LIVES!! Bed rooms: 1/5 queen bed: TERRIBLE!! Never stay here EVER!!. Rice, bugs in the bed floor and in cupboards. As well as black hair. The right drawer was taped up with blue tape! Bumps in the floor carpet was disgusting!!! the carpet was burned and dirty. 1/5 the two single beds Horrible!! chunk of carrot on the floor walls plastered up as well as dirt hair in the beds fan in the corner of the room with an covered up outlet so you can’t even plug it in had to grab the black fan from the queen room the fan was ALSO BROKEN! The fan kept leaning backwards. Mirror was dirty as well if you have young children I DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE AT ALL!! also READ THE REVIEWS ON HERE BEFORE YOU BOOK HERE!! This is absolute BS!! Ed: complete SCAMMER!! Tried to charge us TWO NIGHTS when we only stayed for 1!! Caught him in the act trying to scam us. The 320$$ bond IS BS never stay here ever!!

Terrible experience. Other guests of the hotel made us feel unsafe. Rule says to not smoke in the rooms but our neighbours rooms reeked of it. Bathroom door didn’t lock, ceiling fan had tape on it, room floors were so dirty when we arrived, beds were dirty and kitchen appliances were so sketch. Parking is also terrible. Highly recommend NOT staying here.

The only redeeming quality of our stay was the customer service — staff were polite and accommodating. Unfortunately, the room itself was far from acceptable: outdated, visibly dirty, and in desperate need of a deep clean. The property felt neglected, and there was a persistent smell throughout the day, which made the environment feel unsuitable and uncomfortable, especially for families with young children. Sadly, I would not recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a clean and family-friendly stay.

Where to start!? Firstly this has taught me to read reviews before staying places!!! Rooms are not very clean, hallways are questionable, rooms need a full do over! Plaster falling off the walls, bathroom was 🙃 the room had a terrible smell, cockroaches and the walls had dodgy cover ups. Pretty sure our beds had bed bugs as I’m itchy all over!! The hallways smell terribly of cigarettes & other smells including piss! The kids play area is DEFINITELY NOT safe for children to play in! You’ll need a tetanus shot after! They also find anyway to scam extra money out of you! If I could give no stars I could! Definitely an eye opening experience and would NOT recommend!

We’re so I start. The receptionist was accommodating and the location was convenient but these were the only two positives. Now to kick off the true review, rooms were terrible, not safe for children and we had random people continuously knocking on our door for odd requests. The parking facilities are not suitable for anything bigger than a toot-toot. Good luck for any future customers…..

This place needs to be shut down. ||We stayed there and it is ridden with bed bugs. My partner is COVERD in bites and sores from the BED BUGS we found in room 422 - SEE PHOTO ATTACHED ||Owner Eddie couldn’t care less that our room was infested and refused to move us . When we told him about the bed bugs he didn’t even seem surprised, didn’t apologies & just promised a refund on check out, then of course didn’t give the refund and said booking.com can deal with it.||We left our fire stick in the room, he tried to not let us in as he said it already had a guest and didn’t want to disturb him! So knowing full well the room is INFESTED , he has still rented it out the very next day with zero cleaning or the correct process and protocol following bee bugs in the rooms. !!!! The poor guy in there now will wake up covers in bites too. ||||When you book via booking.com, the hotel then calls you INSTANTLY to say you need to pay the $300 deposit quickly and via payID BEFORE even getting to the property?! Shouted at me and told if I don’t send the money now before they close at 5pm , I won’t get our room key. Even though the details says you can check in until 9pm ??||||Did NOT feel safe at night at all. Many residents making you feel as if they are about to rob you. I was in the lift and had 2 girls whispering about my trainers. Dirty, unwashed pans and kitchen utensils. Vile place. ||||Found an old lady in the corridor who couldn’t speak much English looking scared. I asked if she was ok , she said was stranded because Eddie wouldn’t answer the out of hours number to allow her to check in to her booked and paid for room. Had to contact the other hotel in the vicinity who told us this is normal, and we would have to go and knock on a residents door!! How scary!!!! If I hadn’t of helped her I think she would have slept in the hallway.

Great service from Eddie for our weekend in Perth! Excellent value for money in the two bedroom apartment, and super convenient being able to purchase things like washing powder by the load when we'd flown over from Melbourne for a sports competition and just needed one load of uniforms washed.
