Peru Hop

We had SUCH a fantastic day trip to Paracas and Huacachina! Pick up was seamless, bus was comfortable with wifi and much needed air conditioning! Paracas and the Balletas islands were amazing with the boat taking us as close as possible to get a good view and photos with the guide pointing out the different wildlife. Lunch was great - bit of a worry as I am gluten free but thankfully there was no problems or surprises! Huacachina was unbelievable. Beautiful little pocket oasis with a bit of a buzz! The dune buggy rides and sand boarding was so much fun with a stunning sunset to finish! Marjory, our guide, was fantastic! Provided us with clear instructions for timing etc and so lovely and personable! Gavino was a fab driver getting g us everywhere safely on time! 12/10 would absolutely do again

We had a fantastic experience with PeruHop on the Day Trip from Lima to Paracas + Huacachina tour. The pick up was super easy and on time, the tour remained on schedule as well! Mar was super helpful and organized keeping everyone on track and in a friendly manner. Our driver was also fantastic. The boat tour portion was great to see all the animals on the ballestas islands! The dune buggy and sandboarding and/or sand skiing was SO FUN! Our dune buggy driver, Chiquito, was incredible! He made the experience a complete thrill!

Fantastic day trip to Huacachina and highly recommended for anyone visiting Lima. The tour was very well organized and stress-free. Huge thanks to our guide Mar (Marjorie) for her clear instructions in both Spanish and English and for keeping everything on schedule, and to our driver Javi for a safe and comfortable ride. The bus was clean and had Wi-Fi. Pick up and drop off was stress free. The tour included several activities like a boat ride and wine tasting, but the highlight was Huacachina—sand buggy riding, sandboarding, and an unforgettable sunset. Special thanks to Ever, our buggy driver, for making the experience so fun and memorable. Also appreciated the excellent customer service when booking last minute and traveling with a child. Overall, an amazing experience!

What an amazing tour!! Loved every moment of it 🥹 Super well organised, with enough time in all places. Our guide, Arturo, is a great storyteller and made this experience so smooth with regular updates on whatsapp and just great communication throughout the tour. Couldn’t recommend more!!

We started our Peru Hop journey in Cusco and traveled to Lima (Cusco-Puno-bus change in Arequipa-Nazca-Huacachina-Paracas-Lima). It was perfect. We had two guides: the great Moises (Moi) from Cusco to Arequipa, then the fantastic Roberto from Arequipa to Lima. Having previously (8 years ago) traveled with Peru Hop on a day trip, my first choice was with them. We did spend 2 nights on the road, which is rough but very very doable. The busses are comfortable, have usb-chargers, and WIFI! Limited toilet use in the bus, but if necessary the bus would stop for toilet breaks. We felt safe throughout the trip. Puno was lovely, Nazca was amazing (we did not fly, but the observation tower gave us a great idea of the lines), Huacachina was fantastic, Paracas was unforgettable. The guides were the best! They gave clear info at all times and were very caring of their passengers, it really felt like a big family. My son (who was part of the group) is coming back to Peru with his group of friends, and he is already planning the Peru Hop part. Well done, Peru Hop and MUCHÍSIMAS GRACIAS Moi and Roberto!

We took the Paracas and Huacachina tour with Peru Hop. Our tour guide Diego spoke perfect English, kept everyone informed both via announcements but also via WhatsApp. He kept us organized and on schedule with a day packed with activities. We saw penguins! And the dune buggy ride and sandboard surfing were a blast. The drive there and back was long but the bus was comfortable and the wifi works great. Even though we didn't use it, it was nice to know there is a bathroom on the coach!

I would absolutely, unreservedly recommend Peru Hop for anyone who would like to experience a little bit more of Peru, while outsourcing the brain work of organising the logistics. The buses were superbly comfortable (excellent wifi, air conditioned, roomy chairs, USB charging). The organising beforehand was very easy, with the staff being super helpful for questions. The trip/route itself is super well thought out - the couple of long travelling days are through really beautiful, stark scenery, with plenty of rest stops. We booked accommodation at the recommended options and pick ups/drop.offs were easy with nah storage etc always pre thought out. The tours that are recommended were also great - we did the included pisco winery tour (was really fun), the Huacachina sand dunes (a tire unexpected highlight!) and Arequipa tours (a nice alternative to the lung busting hikes). Special mention to the hosts, in particular Johann who we had for the majority of out trip. He was fantastic and really added so much to the experience - of course very organised, clear, but also really funny, friendly, and keen to share his passion for this place and it's nature, history and culture. It really elevated the whole experience so big congratulations to him for absolutely nailing the brief only 2 months into being on the buses!

The experience with Peru Hop was fantastic. A+. They are extremely well organized, which was amazing because all the guests had different itineraries. That’s what made it great. There is flexibilty to use their app and make changes during your trip. We did the slave tunnel tour in Chincha, some food and pisco stops, and sand boarding/dune buggy in Huacachina. The tours and activities exceeded my expectations. Our guide, Elmer, was a blast! He was both funny and fun. He constantly kept us in communication, sent frequent updates via Whatsapp, and kept everything going smoothly and on time. Ask for him—you will appreciate it. We plan to use Peru Hop next year with a family trip so people can do things together and separately.
