Pescados y Mariscos " El Gabo"

The place is cozy and the food is amazing; it gets warm but otherwise everything is amazing. Portions ate huge and their lobster is incredibly juicy. Love going when we visit Ixtapa

Service was great but food quality is a miss. Lack in flavor and quality.

I honestly thought that this restaurant was going to outfit my expectations but to be honest it didn't i order the seafood tower and it was ok no flavor on whats so ever the octopus was hard like a rock and my husband order a huachinango al mojo de ajo for the price he was expecting a good size fish but it was a very small portion and very expensive we understand that because this is a tourist place the prices are alittle bit high but it needs alot of flavor honestly.

We stopped in for drinks only, but seems like a great place. We looked at the menu and we will likely come back. Prices seem reasonable and the service was outstanding.

It was bomb. Great service & delicious food. We had the pineapple de mariscos , the alambre de mariscos , & the caldo de mariscos I believe.

Food was good . Service was great this place was recommended by everyone we met. All our dishes varied some we liked some we were okay with. The service was awesome

Take a $5 cab ride out of ixtapa and enjoy great food at very affordable prices.

Unfortunately Gabo's in zihuatanejo was a bust, at least with what we ordered. We ordered the garlic shrimp along with the sea n sea lobster/shrimp. We've been to many wonderful places over the years but these 2 dishes were a deep fried disaster. Shrimp/lobster should be juicy n tender. We had to dig the over cooked meat out of the shell. The lobster was very small and not that we expected it to be huge but better than what we'd get from the grocery store back home. Others were eating ceviche and it seemed like that would've been a better option. Our waiter could've cared less about us, he never came back to follow up unless we asked someone else for drinks, the bill etc. The margaritas and dayquiris we boring and flavorless so 900 pesos later we went back to the resort and enjoyed the buffet. Oh well you win some you lose some, onto the next adventure in Ixtapa.
