Pesona Lounge Ubud

Can't imagine why this place wasn't busier. The menu is very creative but with authentic Indian flavours. We tried the butter chicken with burrata which was insanely good, as well as the naan-chos which were equally awesome. We had a delicious cold welcome drink with a refreshing towel when we arrived, and also enjoyed some nice cold IPA. Our server Dwipa was very polite, friendly and attentive. Would 100% recommend.

Unexpectedly disappointing. Choice of beers was minimal and overpriced. The staff expressed we would be getting a 500ml glass with the black sand IPA, we received otherwise. We only tried the Desi Mese based on the service we had received when we arrived as the attention wasn't there from the staff. The dish was bland and that is all about can be said. Check your bill as there was an item on ours that we never ordered, in saying that, they did remove it from the bill. Decor is nice, as the only positive.

Amazing indian food!! So underrated. I’ve lived in Bali for 2 years and never knew of this place but will definitely come back 🤍 Ngurah and Ngurah Made were the best servers ever!!! Terima kasih

We have just finished a lovely meal. Srik and Ayu were our waitresses. The chef is Indonesian but learnt Indian cooking in India for 15 years. I am Indian but live in UK. By both standards food was amazing. We had Goan fish curry, chicken rogan josh, pork vindaloo, chicken tikka tacos, veg samosa and chicken momos. For desert we had mango kulfi and beingets. Lovely music and atmosphere. Thank you chef

This place is so good! The vibes, the food, the drinks (don’t drink alcohol so had one of the amazing options from the “sub continent” but I was very tempted by the cocktails they looked amazing!) So many vegan options, everything was somehow equally fresh and comforting. The staff are incredible! Special mention to Agung and Olive who were so helpful and friendly ❤️ I wish I had some food options but everything looked so good I forgot about taking pictures and just got right in 😅

Absolutely loved it here. So much that we’re actually going to visit their restaurant on Gili island when we’re travelling there next week. (The fish tikka tacos were unreal!!) Also, shout out to Gunggek who was such an amazing server. She was very attentive, chatty and kind! 10/10 Thank you!

Wow. This place is more than just food, it’s an experience. Every bite was full of flavor, love and care. Gunngek, our waitress, was absolutely wonderful. She welcomed us with the warmest smile and made us feel like we were visiting family. The spices, the smells, the colors, everything felt alive. If you want real Indian food with a soul, this is the spot. I will definitely be back.

I would’ve given this place 4 stars but the owners stingy policies really rub me the wrong way considering the prices they are charging. The burrata butter chicken was delicious (the chicken was a little dry however) but the sauce was really well done. The dessert was a cashew carrot cheese cake and was basically inedible and had major freezer burn. I tried explaining this to the waitstaff and they refused to take it off the bill. I can tell that this is a management owner policy as the servers were very attentive and polite but this is definitely not okay. The waiter said it was made this morning, which I highly doubt because why would you put it in the freezer than only to defrost it in a few hours? Doesn’t make any sense… Made me question the hygiene and safety standards of the place because if that is true then they have some foul odors or things in their freezer leeching onto the food. Shame the meal had to end on such a bad note.
