Pest-Buda Bistro

Wonderful experience! Went there for a team lunch, we were 15 people, ordered different dishes and all left very satisfied. The waiters were extremely kind and helpful and we felt very at home. Will definitely come back again also privately with family/friends.

We just went to the restaurant as we were in the area for the evening. Lovely food and service. Staff made great recommendations about the food & local wine. Loved the strudel for dessert.

Even that the place looks very cozy outside and the food was nice, it’s very disappointing to check the balance and see that the place overcharged us. We paid 35 Euro for two soups, coffee and beer! They just charged us not in the local currency but in euro with the exchange rate convinient for them. I know that this is a common trick and I am very sorry for this bistro if they should build the business like this and wish just some good luck. For future guests, my recommendation would be just to avoid this place.

We really enjoyed our dinnerhere. Lovely Valentine’s Day. Our waiter , Andras was super lovely, he made sure we are having the very best service . Super speedy as well . All the food were outstanding and the prices are reasonable.

What an excellent restaurant that really felt like you were eating Hungarian grandmothers recipes with a twist! Our waiter Andrew was superb and he gave excellent recommendations from wine to starters to the main courses and we loved it all! He was very attentive and that made our dinner that much better!

Great local Hungarian restuante. We had the cordon-blue, fabulous! The waiters were very kind and friendly with excellent English. The strudel was amazing, my wife said. I highly recommend this quite little sleeper. You won't be disappointed.

Perfect food!!!!! The food was perfect! The people are friendly and professional. Also their English is so fluent!!! Please do not hesitate to visit this nice restaurant!

The Hungarian fish soup tasted extremely fishy and muddy. And the stuffed cabbage does not have a nice balance so it's not hearty at all, just very sour as the sauerkraut was way too fermented. Not kidding when I say it's the worst meal I ever had in my life. Service is little to none but I don't expect much as a tourist.
