Pestana Park Avenue

Amazing hotel! Everything from the helpful, nice staff, extra appreciations to the kind woman that checked me in and out and to the breakfast staff! to the complimentary breakfast that was way better than expected, great coffee machine, to the service when the ac in my room broke and I had to change room. Got upgraded to a room with a city view and got help to move my bags, so it wasn’t a problem at all! The location was great and felt safe for a solo traveler. Also very close to 5th avenue and the gem Bryant Park! The room was modern and very clean! Loved this hotel and will definitely come back for a room with a city view!

We had a wonderful stay at the Pestana and would highly recommend it. The staff were incredible, friendly and helpful with everything especially Raynier and Camilla. Beautiful boutique hotel, extremely clean and new for NYC. Feels very European. Yes the rooms are small but every every space is well-utilized and we had plenty of room for everything. It is also an excellent location, safe and easy to get around from this spot. We would absolutely return to this hotel next time we are visiting our daughter.

NYC is our fave vacation spot! We love exploring the city! On our first time here, we went for a Hilton hotel franchise. But on our next trip, we were more adventurous and chose Pestana Park! Gregory and the other front desk staff are all lovely! Plus their croissants and bagels in the morning are delicious, they also have 24/7 Starbucks and tea in the breakfast area. It is a boutique hotel so I expected the room would be small. It is smaller than our room in the Hilton but it is cozy, quiet, clean, and did I say that Gregory is awesome LOL We will definitely go back here!

Nice hotel in an excellent location three blocks from Grand Central. This is a quieter area, but right in the heart of Midtown. Rooms are small (typical for Manhattan). Room was very clean. Everything in the room was updated. A little view, but mostly looking at a wall. Bed and shower were both excellent. Room was mostly quiet other than some hallway noise from doors slamming. There were only 3 rooms on my floor, so not a big deal. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Hotel had free basic breakfast out in the morning, which is nice. There is an additional "resort fee" ($22?).

It was too long that we waited to come back to NYC to see family and enjoy some food only found here. We booked with Pestana based on a special deal they offered. The hotel is easy to reach as they have a mid- Manhattan location. It is a short walk from Grand Central Station and proves easy access to many locations around the island. The hotel itself is tall and slender. The rooms are small but well appointed. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom shower was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was always clean and prepared for us each day after we arrived from a day of wandering. They did provide a simple breakfast, in the small common area at the back of the hotel, of croissants and bagels, which was nice. There is even a mall outdoor area behind the hotel with tables and chairs for eating and socializing.

Great location in midtown, it's great walking out of the hotel right into the middle of Manhattan. Plenty of options nearby for coffee, food or bars. Friendly reception at the hotel, we had a late flight, and they were able to provide a late check out to 12:00 for free, it was just an hour but made all the difference. It's included with the resort fee, but bagels and coffee is provided. The bagel's and coffee is not bad at all, perfectly fine if you are short of time, but there are so many other options nearby. There is nice court yard area at the back of the hotel and the lobby has good seating. The room comes with 2 large bottles of Voss which is also included as part of the resort fee, the rooms are TINY (they are smaller than they look in the photos), smallest NYC hotel room I've ever been in, but the space is well thought through, it took a bit of planning but we were able to make it work for 2 of us. There is gym access at a local gym, which was quite cool, which is also included in the resort fee. We booked a superior room, not sure what the difference is with a classic room, none that I could discern anyway. Overall a functional hotel, in an amazing location, we enjoyed our stay overall, I'd definitely stay again if it was just me alone, but for 2 people would have preferred to have more space in the future.

We had a small room but manageable, the hotel is small and intimate. The location was really good! Close enough to everything. It was very clean, very safe. The staff is amazing especially Raun and Marilan! I will definitely stay here on my next trip.

Just great! It was a really great stay! The hotel is so central, with the Grand central just at the corner. Staff is so polite and professional. The coffee and & bagels is just an added value to the stay. Rooms are pretty small but it worked quite well for us . Loved the back the blue tiles yard , it is so cute.
