Pestana São Tomé

One of the best hotels on the island. Has a bar and restaurant with a good breakfast. Can order eggs to order, the staff is friendly, rooms are clean. Power does flicker on and off at times but the generator does kick on immediately. Views from the patio are great! Infiniti’s pool is picture worthy.

I understand that Sao Tome and Principe is a country that's in economic transition but this hotel's 5 star rating is really insulting. The rooms are old, the food is always a terrible buffet, and the hotel reception staff is just not up to par. The wait staff in the restaurant and housekeeping staff are super lovely. I only stay at this hotel because my work makes me for security purposes but I wish I could stay anywhere else but here. It's really a 3 star hotel and does not meet expectations.

It is definitely an upscale hotel having a lot of amenities but it is very expensive and a bit dated. However, the stff is nice and everything was functional. Either lower the price or upgrade the rooms so that there is a good value for money.

Pestana hotel provided an exceptional experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the rooms were both beautiful and offered great views. The food and drinks were excellent, and the hotel's close proximity to supermarkets and several fantastic restaurants added convenience. Overall, it was an unforgettable stay, especially as it was my first time in São Tomé. Already planning my next visit.

The customer service was amazing from start to finish. Letiviama in particular made our trip very special - she was knowledgeable, welcoming, attentive and exceptionally helpful!||The location of the hotel was also good and it was very convenient being able to exchange Euros € for the local currency at the reception desk!

Amazing experience! The hotel staffs are responsible and kind; the view of beach and sea is splendid through the window of room. Wish I can re-visit the lovely island country as well as Pestaña

wonderful service, food and location with the beautiful view of the ocean. We cwn enjoy the drinks with the beautiful view of sunset from one of the bars of hotel. Menu is changed on daily basis with different theme and the best part is the drinks are also included in buffet.

Because the pool at the Pestana Miramar hotel was out-of-action, we could use the pool at Pestana São Tomé.|The hotel was clean and attractive, and so was the pool. Swimming was slightly inhibited by another guest having introductory scuba sessions in the pool.|The main worry was poor service by the pool. We rarely saw a waiter and, after we ordered a beer, nothing was delivered for almost an hour!
