This was our first time trying Sichuan Chinese food and our server was super friendly and walked us through the menu with recommendations, which was appreciated. The decor is typical Chinese restaurant style with some pretty floral touches. The place is clean — but crowded — which I’m guessing means people obviously like it.
My husband ordered sweet jasmine tea and it ended up being a pre-made bottled tea from China. It was actually very good… but a little pricey for a 16.9 oz bottle.
For food, we ordered:
• Cumin Beef
Thinly sliced beef, very tender, stir-fried with hot peppers, onions, bell peppers and cilantro. The cumin flavor? Let’s just say they used more cumin than I put in a huge pot of chili. 😂 If you love cumin, this is your dish. It just isn’t my personal favorite spice — but it was exactly as described.
• Dan Dan Noodles
The noodles were cooked to perfection, covered in a delicious peanut-type sauce, topped with ground pork and green onions. This dish was phenomenal. Do yourself a favor and just order it. Seriously — it’s worth coming back just for that alone.
• Sliced Pork with Cabbage
Strips of pork belly sautéed with cabbage in a chili oil sauce. Very good — rich, flavorful, and not greasy like some pork belly dishes can be.
Service was friendly and fast overall. My only complaint: the tiny water glass. It was maybe 4 ounces… not ideal when food is spicy and someone is trying to cool down their taste buds. 😂 In their defense — the server was on it — he refilled it constantly. I just felt like I was making him sprint a marathon.
One cool thing I noticed — their green beans are fresh. We literally watched them breaking them at a table beside us, so those will definitely be on my list for next time!

Overall:
Great service, flavorful food, phenomenal dan dan noodles, but please give us grown-up size water cups. 😄
Would definitely return — especially to try those fresh green beans.
