The staff are awesome! But every time I get my pet supplies I've noticed the prices keep increasing! Not a little but a dollar or more on Items! This is freaking redicules! Lower your prices or I won't be coming back!

They have a lot of items. Very well stocked. For me, this is probably a less than likely place i would shop. It's not worth the price, and I think other similar stores are a bit better for less. In a pinch it's useful. Staff are almost always nice and helpful, though, so there is that.

This store was so supportive from start to finish. An employee even got down on the floor to help hold and support our dog while we fitted him for a harness.

I do not recommend! my dog is a Yorkie and her haircut looks like she’s a terrier. She’s had her haircut there several times and there should’ve been records on how to do it. I told them what to do and it still wasn’t done and of course you don’t see the dog until after you’ve paid or I would’ve never paid. Groomers can’t take it upon themselves to just do whatever they want. There’s a reason I don’t leave the hair on the legs long and a skirt and I do clean feet because I live in the country. I’m highly disappointed

I really don't shop anywhere else for my dog supplies. They always have our food, they usually have great deals on different treats, the store in Hutchinson, KS is always clean and the staff is friendly.

This Petco is sorely lacking in supplies in the animal care/medication section. Many of the parts on the shelves in this aisle were completely bare. This was surprising considering it is a pet supply store. I did not go into any other part of the store to rate the other sections.

GROOMING IS TERRIBLE. The first visit my puppy had I felt like it went well and then every experience since then has been awful. The ladies in the grooming area and all rude. I went in one day to get a face,feet,fanny for my puppy and I stood up at the desk for 8-10 mintues while the groomers ignored me and continued to work on the computer. Once they acknowledged my presence they proceeded to be very rude and short with me. They have one groomer there that is too fast and rough with the dogs and does not do a good enough job for a $65 appointment. Since my puppy get very nervous at the groomers I wanted someone that was going to take their time and be gentle with my dog, so I purposely booked online so I could requested a different person do his grooming. It didn't matter when I showed up for my appointment the same lady was about to grab my dog and take him back. And again the lady at the desk was very rude to me. So I took my dog back and left. I will NOT BE COMING BACK. I found several other local groomers in the area that were willing to go at my puppy's pace when grooming. No need to come here to get your pet groomed, save yourself the money and the experience of terrible customer service.

I went to Petco to buy a Betta fish and found that the fish are crammed into tiny plastic containers, which is in humane. Not only that, but half the fish were DEAD! If Petco can't even keep their fish alive for their store-lives, how am I supposed to believe the fish are healthy enough to take home? How do I know that the rare live fish didn't contract some sort of sickness while on the shelves and will die within a week of living in my home?! This mistreatment of animals should be illegal. Review your ethics.

They did great with taking care of my dog and getting of all his undercoat. They did a great job working with him for he is training to be a service dog so they helped me with working with him to get use to his nails cut and ect. Petco is like my go to for everything. Love the friendly staff and how they are willing to help with anything.

Worst customer service ever!!!! The lady was extremely rude to me and got very snappy with me. DO NOT shop here. I would rather drive to a different town to shop than to go back to the Hutchison petco. Worst experience I have ever had! If you want to be yelled at with sass and attitude then this is the place to go

We went to Petco today to get my grandson a fish. While we were waiting for the girl to be able to dip the fish we gathered about $60 in merchandise. Meanwhile my daughter and son also were looking at fish. We decided on a small goldfish for my grandson and my daughter was getting a small catfish and my son a ghost lobster. The girl asked what size tank we had. We told her 1.5 gallon for the goldfish. She refused to sell it to us saying the tank was too small. She then told my daughter her tank was too small for a catfish. She told us the only thing we could have was a beta. I told her I have raised fish for over 20 years and I felt they would be fine as long as they had enough filtration and oxygen. She told me that was a misconception and I left all of the merchandise and left with my family I felt she was disrespectful.

Our dog's hair was cut to the length we requested. However, there are large striped patches on his front left leg, as well as a raw patch on his chest. The pink skin is showing! For the price, we can and will find someone else.

Lexi looked great!! Very pleased with the way she looked!! The timeframe for her getting groomed wasn't as long as stated. Thank you so much!
