Whether going for a short stroll or watching the sunset, this park has it all! The park is within walking distance to the train station and downtown Beacon. If you are into hiking, there are short tails as well with scenic Hudson river views.

Great little park with lots of river facing benches. Good sized trees for shade. Lots of geese and goose poop to go with it. They also have a "river pool" of you are inclined to take a dip in the Hudson.

"Alright, let me give you the lowdown on Pete and Toshi Seeger Riverfront Park. It's got this killer waterfront view that's just perfect for chilling out. And hey, if you've got little ones, they're gonna love the playground with all its slides and swings – keeps 'em entertained for hours. Plus, there's plenty of space to spread out, maybe even fire up the grill for a cookout. It's just a great spot to hang with friends and fam, you know? So whether you're after some peace and quiet or a day of fun in the sun, this park's got you covered. Seriously, it's like the ultimate waterfront hangout spot!"

I wish this cute little park was near me when I was raising my kids. Lovely area to walk along the Hudson, fish, see wildlife and there is an area for children's playground.

Strawberry Fest at Pete and Toshi Seeger Park was just perfect. The park is on a spit of land surrounded by the Hudson River on both sides. Lovely piece of property and a nice playground for the kids. Today the Beacon Sloop Club hosted Strawberry Fest - the best ever strawberry shortcake and strawberry smoothies. Shortcake baked on the premises, strawberries hulled and sliced by volunteers the night before. What a lot of work for an all volunteer group! There were activists tabling for a pleathera of causes, vendors selling all sorts of stuff and two stages of music. And dogs of all breeds and mixtures. No charge for admittance, free sails on the Woody Guthrie, the Sloop Clearwater was there. Pete would be proud of the way his Sloop Club carries on his vision of bringing people to the River even without him. Corn Fest in August is next.

Wonderful location for this year’s Hudson River Seafood Festival this past weekend with beautiful views of the river and the town of Newburgh on the opposite side. Named for one of the greatest folk singer and activist of the 20th Century Pete Seeger and his wife Toshi

Yelp
Get ready, this park is a short walk from the Beacon Train Station. Plenty of parking is provided right in the front, and with so much to do inside. There is a pathway that runs perimeter, highlighting the Hudson River all around, with a decent view that no one can't beat. For the kids, a playground is a feature at the park, with two separate sets. A small pavilion is also great for get-togethers, which can't be missed. Events are also held here throughout the year, which I've learned about by reading other reviews. It would be awesome to see more benches provided in the park, which would up my rating. Besides that, Pete and Toshi Seegar Park is a great one to take in.

Yelp
Always have a great time when out here the fishing and atmosphere is great. Even if the fishing is not good you still have a park to enjoy

Yelp
So this park, besides from being named after a wonderful Hudson Valley treasured resident and riverkeeper, is an amazing spot and host to a plethora of great events throughout the spring, summer and fall. From beer festivals to river sponsored fests, corn fest, pumpkin fest... the list goes on. It is conveniently located directly off the train and has pretty ample parking if you choose to drive. It's close to Main Street which is up the hill and a ton of local breweries and eateries. I continue to come back each year for all the great happenings!

Yelp
Great time here at the park. We came here during the Strawberry Festival. There was parking in the park itself but I would imagine it got filled up quickly so many people, including us, were parking at the nearby Metro North Station, which is free parking on weekends and holiday, which is nice for those visiting the park. The festival was great with lots of vendors selling various food and other items. As for the park itself, there is a dock with a boat there. I am not sure if you can buy tickets to go out onto the water. There are a few park benches and some lovely, yet distant, view of the bridge. There is a small playground area there for the kids. I did not see any signs for fees to enter the park. The festival at the time we went was free. Keep in mind that you can go through the Metro North underpass from the Metro North parking lot to the park, you don't have to walk all the way around (like we did).

Yelp
Not a seeger fan but wanted to check it out.i guess i had high hopes. It seemed like a fish spot with some courts and some bbq spots.Maybe im Nyc spoiled? i think i would have been better off checking out long dock park.

Yelp
Nice peninsula park on the Hudson River. But, only ONE GOOD BENCH overlooking the river. A few other benches sprinkled about are broken/unable to be comfortably used. Please City of Beacon... add some benches overlooking the river to this park!
