Always will be one of the best places to come for lunch whenever myself and the family come to the beach! Their food is a little pricey but well worth the money! They never disappoint and we will be back very soon. Staff are always really nice and friendly which tops of the service in the place. YUM!!!

Amazing sunset tonight behind Peter’s Fish Market. The fish & chips were delicious. No line-up inside the store & the staff were all friendly. There are public toilets & FREE parking onsite, with NO parking meters. Lots of tables & chairs to sit & eat, chat & take in the view of the water.

The best fish and chips of my life!! Coming from a rural area...I can't even buy fish from my local takeaway shop after eating here! The freshest and best fish and chips have ruined frozen fish for me everywhere! 😂 Amazing lobster rolls too! There is always a line up and for a good reason! Absolutely worth the wait and drive! Wide selection of fresh seafood, you can choose what you like and take to the counter to have prepared grilled, battered or crumbed! They also do amazing sashimi and have some HUGE prawns! Everything was so good we went back everyday of our holiday. 100% recommend...

We had a fantastic lunch at Peter’s Fish Market at Main Beach! The food was delicious, and the servings were generous, making it great value for money, perfect for feeding the whole family. The flavours were spot on, and everything was fresh. Highly recommend this spot for a relaxed, tasty meal by the beach!

My family has been coming to Peter Fish and Chips at the Gold Coast since 2012, and it remains one of our favorite spots for fresh seafood. Their calamari and scallops are always delicious, and the fresh prawns and blue crab are a must-try! We also love buying salmon head and frame for our homemade hotpot, which is always fresh and tasty. The recent renovation of the outdoor area has really improved the space. It’s much nicer and cleaner now, making it a great spot to sit and enjoy your meal. Highly recommended !!!

Long line on a Sunday! Had the oysters and grilled fish + chips. Also bought some King shrimps too. Shrimps were the best among what we’ve ordered.

Half of the meal went to me, half to the bin birds. The lobster was good. The salmon and tuna sashimi weren’t very fresh. The other brand of apple juice was expired — best before February 2025. The fish and chips were average. Overall, it’s a decent shop for local supplies and groceries, but not really worth a visit for tourists.

Choose your own fresh fish to crumb or batter delicious, decent sized fillets, very popular place, worth every cent, didn't wait long, Calamari rings, crunchy and tender, sea scallops fat and juicy battered, hot chips are the best tasted crunchy and soft oil cooked in, very clean, small serve was pretty generous, everything was fresh and right in front of your eyes no frozen stuff in here, just loved it, I didn't wait very long 10 mins Max although it was very busy. Staff friendly and helpful, I found them very knowledgeable about all their items in store👍
